That is my go-to putter. How good? I don't practice putting and with the ideal weight and length I putt very well. Now the kicker. I liked the clubs so much, sent the Mrs in, and same result. My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. The fitting was supposed to be 90 minutes but ended up lasting a little over 2 hours. I really appreciate them taking their time to ensure I got the best possible fit. I went in leaning hard towards the TM P770, and walked out buying the Srixon ZX7 irons, they were just a much better fit for my swing. I was also surprised to find that I was better suited to a heavier shaft, however, my clubhead speed was over 5 mph faster without any extra effort. Now I just have to wait for them to come in.

This past week I had 2 one hour lessons with John that were game changers and I owe it all to him. My first one hour lesson was a putting lesson. He watched me putt for a few minutes and immediately saw my problem. I wasn't tucking my elbows into my body and once I was told I needed to do this, it changed everything. My second 1 hour lesson we worked on my golf swing. I have always struggled with making clean contact with the ball. I always brush the ground before hitting the ball. Again, John observed my swing for several minutes before figuring out the problem. He videoed my swing and shared with me. I was leaning back on my right foot too much when I needed to be leaning on my left foot. With this small change, I am now hitting the ball clean (not perfect yet, but an absolute game changer)! We came in a few weeks ago for seasonal rentals and the guy that helped up was amazing and helped my little brother like he was his own. We had a gal help us in helmets and found us a good one for my little brother that he could grow into as well. I went in earlier this week to try on some boots and to get feedback on a pair I had to buy online. The gentleman helping me was amazing and super helpful in letting me know the ones I got were not suitable for my calf type and helped me find a very comfortable new ski boot. Overall this store is great and I love having it so close!
