Walk in, and you will immediately notice that this place is pretty laid back. It felt very cozy and familiar. On the first floor are the snowboard goggles, sunglasses, boots, clothing, bathing suits and trunks. Near the back is a partitioned room where the skateboard shop is located selling decks, skateboard shoes, and gear. Upstairs is where the real goods are at: the snowboards, surfboards, wetsuits, and other swimming gear. Some items were on sale, women's bathing suits were slashed as much as ~60% off, down to as low as $20. Tees and T-Shirts were 2 for $18, snowboard goggles were 50%-60% off, boots were ~40% off. Beware that most sale items are CASH ONLY and NONREFUNDABLE. Why can't there be more core shops like this? As most know, the big box retail outlets (aka Sports Authority, Dick's Sporting Goods, etc.) have been gobbling them up with their big bank accounts and purchasing goods in bulk which gives them the ability to have big discounts on their items. It is nice to know that there are still a few small shops striving to survive through this large-to-mid corporation size market era. Support the small core shops!!

So I have been putting together equipment that I utilize for my workouts, half of it is Boxing Equipment, the other half has been free weights and I was in search of a treadmill. I went in and spoke with Kurt about the things I was looking for, and as I thought would be the case, there is a BOOM for Fitness Equipment, however, there was some hope. He explained I could put in my order for the gear that I wanted. 25,35 and 45 Lb Rubber Free Weights, and that as they come in off the shipments he would call and let me know they were ready. I was prepared to wait as long as my name is on the list for them. A week or two goes by and Kurt calls about my 25's being available, so I went and picked them up just to get started, good thing I did since I've been working out with them and they are great, helping me get back to Pre-Covid toning. Then we started talking Treadmills, and a lot of the things in the store are like 3K, 4K, 5K and up, and I said I didn't really have the budget for that, what is good around 1K-2K, and he mentioned the Horizon Brand , so I did some research on the models. I went with the 7.0AT and was able to also purchase through them, however there was a backorder (of course) and I was told there would be a wait. That's fine, I figured that. Got a call 2 days ago it was finally in stock after about 2.5 weeks, and delivery was slated to happen today, and it came today! The guys brought it in and built it, and my first run was smooth and enjoyable, so happy. Thanks Johnson Fitness, all around very satisfied with everything, and look forward to the remaining weights to be in stock so i can come and pickup!!

This is possible because Gabe has the teaching and playing experience to coach you in all aspects of your game, whether it's course management or building confidence around your shots. Gabe has elevated my awareness of my own swing and helped me stay committed to making long term swing changes. Like many golfers starting out, I still struggle with the basics like consistent contact, club face control, and release. No instructor can transform your swing overnight, but TRUST he will give you the right things to work on and many ways to work on them. As a result, I am making solid contact with the ball more frequently, have 15+ yards in distance per club, and am hitting straighter shots. Most importantly, Gabe will teach you how to be your own coach. Working with Gabe over time has given me the tools to diagnose and straighten out issues in my own swing even on a day when "I just can't seem to hit the ball." It has also taught me to consume the myriad golf content I encounter online with a critical eye. I know what I need to work on thanks to Gabe, and any of the bad rounds I shoot now and going forward would not be for a lack of excellent instruction.
