The retail golf industry has radially changed over the last 20 years. As a player for 25 years, and a spender on "the new latest and greatest" golf technologies, I feel that I can speak from some level of authority. Single stores and multi-store operations were all sharing pieces of the huge pie. With the economy slowing and no more Mr. Woods, now all of that has changed and very few of either, still remain. Unique Golf does a tip top job at capturing and capitalizing on the used golf club market, a market I've most always purchased from. Cool persimmon PING EYE2 drivers to Hogan Rivera wedges, Mizuno MP14's, raw black ox, etc. Cant wait to return back to this single store that has withstood the test of time in a extremely competitive industry. sed equipment read more

We visited Unique Golf last fall to purchase a new set of golf clubs for my son. The salesman, Pat, was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Also, he did not try to upsell us or sell us anything we didn't need. The store also sell slightly used clubs, so we purchased a second-hand Ping driver for my son at a great price. A few months later, a piece on the head of this Ping driver fell inside the club. I brought the club back to the store, and Pat took care of contacting Ping, sending the club to them to be repaired, and keeping me posted every step of the way. We received the repaired club back in less than 2 weeks, and it was all covered under warranty. I can't compliment this store enough!! The level of attention they give to each customer is unparalleled and they are far more knowledgeable than anyone we have dealt with in larger stores. I highly recommend them! read more

Came here to get a driver reshafted in August. The owner lost the screw from the tip that was on the driver and it took until October to get my driver back. The repair shop was a mess, loose heads and shafts everywhere, no wonder he lost it. My club was returned back to me with scratches and glue spots on the head. It felt funny and was making a clicking noise when I waggled it and the guy working there told me it was fine. Well, the head came off after one swing. I brought it back, and he said he'd have to call Cobra about it. I called back each week for about a month and the guy at that answered the phone said "Jim will call you right back he's with a customer." - He never called me back. I went into the store and Jim told me he couldn't figure it out. He was reasonable and gave me my money back. I went to Pete's golf shop in Farmingdale the same day, and Pete said "One sec, this is the wrong screw." He went in back got me the right screw and I was good. Highly recommend going to Pete's for any club repair instead, this was a very negative experience. read more
