We took the car for a tire issue and they said two of the lug nuts were cross threaded. I messaged Just Brakes LLC about it all. I called the next day to confirm. They hadn't checked their messages. They said they would get the lug nuts and be out Friday @ 5:30. They never showed. It is the following Monday and Just Brakes LLC has not attempted to contact us. We've taken the car elsewhere to undo the damage and properly replace the cross-threaded lug nuts. Communication is essential in any business, and Just Brakes is very poor at that.

When John called to deliver the bad news and walk me through my options / his recommendations he was so kind and patient, answering every single one of my questions with plenty of detail. The night before, I had left him a voicemail and had mentioned a possible warranty on the engine in passing. He went above and beyond by calling local dealerships and checking (I believe it was) NHTSA to see if there were any active warranties that would cover me. The entire time I felt like this team had my best interest at heart. I know they probably see tons of customers a week, but they made me feel like more than just another job, which meant the absolute world to me. Unfortunately, my best option was to get a new car. While I worked through everything with Hyundai and searched for a replacement, they've let me keep my car on their lot for a generous amount of time, leaving me with one less thing I've had to worry about during this very stressful time. My Car Doc is a masterclass in customer service and I cannot recommend them enough!!!! I have so much gratitude for this team, and I will absolutely be back for any future services on my new car.

Two guys came to us in a work van, examined the damage, talked out options with my husband, and gave professional advice based on experience instead of how much money they could charge us. Their honesty, professionalism and skills were much appreciated! When they heard we still had a four drive home ahead of us, they said to call if we had any immediate issues and they'd come out to help. Thankfully, we made it home safely. The total cost was $150, and they were able to accept both cash and card. These guys were great. Their helpfulness and friendliness helped put us at ease, and turned a terrible situation into a bearable one. If you find yourself stuck, this 24/7 shop is the place to call.

What I initially thought was my transmission ended up being a broken piece on my shifter cable. Keep in mind, this occurred on the Wednesday before Memorial Day Weekend, and the workers (as they should) were also planning to enjoy the long weekend/holiday. John let me know that it was highly unlikely that my car would be fixed before the weekend, which I understood, but I was still a bit bummed about because I had several plans to start moving, traveling, etc. While I did not mention any of these circumstances to John, he let me know to call in the next morning for an update on the vehicle. To my very happy surprise, he let me know that he was able to find a shifter cable part from a friend in the community, and he even stayed late to fix it! Replacing shifter cables can be a pain, and I was so taken back that he was able to have my car back to me in less than 24 hours, with no appointment or heads up. I am not noting that he stayed late as something customers should rely on when choosing an auto repair shop. However, John was very thorough in explaining the process to me, and A&A exceeded all of my expectations. To stay late for someone so that they can have their car before the holiday weekend is top notch customer service, and it goes way beyond what any repair shop needed to do. Trust me, there are WAY more of people needing repairs and this shop would have stayed busy even without my business. To sum it up, A&A is reliable, I never once worried that I would be scammed as a young woman, and I will definitely bring my car back if I have any maintenance or any other issues. Thank you A&A!!

They always treated me fairly and did not try to rip off customers like other tire places. I had (notice the use of past tense) such positive experiences there that I recommended the store to several other people. Today that all changed...dramatically. I noticed one of my tires was leaking so I went to the shop at about 3:15. I got in right away. I was told that I actually needed two front tires. I agreed to that as well as an alignment and to have the tires balanced. New tires got mounted pretty quickly. Then a worker came and got my keys (actually there was already another set in the car) to do the alignment. Then I waited and waited and waited. Numerous people came in the store, had their vehicle serviced and left. Not me though. I waited, waited and waited some more. Very little communication from the El Camino staff. When I asked what was taking so long, I was told there were people ahead of me and they were "working on it." Then I waited, waited and waited some more. It got to the point that I was virtually the only one left in the waiting room. The staff had to know I was getting upset, yet they did ZERO to address my frustration. Finally, at almost 6 pm, when I had been there nearly 3 hours, I went to the desk and demanded my car back, that I would just pay for whatever work was done, and leave. That apparently sparked them to actually finish the work. I finally got the keys back 10 minutes later. I paid the bill and left. I understand that maybe the work on my vehicle "fell through the cracks" or for some reason was taking longer than expected. That happens in this line of business. But there is no excuse for the lack of communication and the unwillingness to treat a longtime customer without even a modicum of respect. They apparently didn't value my business or care that after such a poor experience I would be unlikely to ever come back and would certainly not recommend it to my friends. I would not recommend this place after what I experienced today.

Instead, I suggest Discount Tire or Belle Tire. They offer free tire repairs when possible and stand behind their work.

I called and spoke to Taso, he was excellent at explaining the tires and was able to schedule me for a Saturday install, he said it would take about an hour and fifteen minutes. The install only took about 40 minutes because he had his son helping him, I was very impressed with how quickly they got the job done.
