I am not sure how long they have the Harry Potter promo but I love it. For 9.99 you get the plush and the theme drink. You cannot get this at the kiosk but have to ask the cashier. She was really nice as I was indecisive and showed me all four lol.

The drink I got was okay I'm still not sure how I feel about it. They do have a wide selection of other drinks I'd like to try though. Service was fast and easy through the kiosk, and there's a big seating area that's great for large groups.

Large seating areas with huge counter space. Bright and big interior. Perfect for reading a newspaper. Buy one get one half off at 6pm. The ambiance is a highlight here. It isn't as comfortable or cozy as a Starbucks but it is a pleasant place to be in. Very clean and big windows and good lighting. Countertops are the biggest I've ever seen. Usually if you sit at the window its a small one foot counter or table - here it is 3x that width. Perfect for reading a newspaper or spreading out a lot of paperwork. Convenient as there is an old school news stand nearby. Buy one get one half off at 6pm. I like the concept. It is moving inventory before they close instead of probably dumping it down the sink. I'd like to see bakeries do this too at the end of the day. If I buy a donut that is 12 hours old at 6pm half off would make sense - its no longer fresh and it probably keeps it out of the trash. Park Street has metered parking and there is a garage. Not the best situation but if you park your car and visit a few different points of interest its a pleasant experience.

I'm very mixed about this place, but I think it's closer to "may come back" vs not. I'd say the biggest draw is sanitation & food (aka waffles). Let's start with pros: - Large seating area - Good number of outlets available - Fast free wifi - Great happy hour deal (6-8pm everyday) BOGO drinks This place has all the qualities of "Good for Working" except the music is pretty loud so maybe bring noise cancelling ones or jive with the music (got lucky last time, the playlist was just like mine). Okay, cons: - my experience with mochi waffles I was about the 2nd person out of a long line as soon as happy hour began at 6pm. I heard all the hot foods coming out but my mochi waffles were never called. So after 15 mins of waiting, I went up to the counter. Took them a minute to tell me that they will call my name when it's ready. When I added it's been 15 minutes, they said we'll check on it. It comes out soon after - I receive two modest size waffles that clearly looks undercooked and burnt bits sprinkled all over. I assume it was sitting in the machine for a while cause it was also not warm. - gloves or no gloves? This might be cause I just learned about food safety and became a bit of a germophobe after taking a microbiology class, but I think using one's phone in between work WITHOUT changing gloves pretty much defeats the purpose of wearing one? I guess it protects ones hands but not the food or drink. I think the items I am consuming I didn't have too much of a gross factor (drinks, for instance, the touched part is usually just the cup), but just to note.

I got the taro tea which was good but the boba was a bit warm and I guess I got low ice (I got whatever the cashier recommended) so together it made it so the drink was kind of lukewarm. I enjoyed the drink and experience but I'm not sure if I'd come back, at least for the full price of ~$6.50 for the small. Maybe I'd return for the BoGo. The ambiance is fine, very clean but a bit empty and sterile. Not a negative experience by any means (I enjoyed my drink), but I'm not sure if I'd return.

The staff is always so polite and quick. It gets pretty full and loud in the evenings so I don't consider it an ideal work/studying place, but it's always good for a quick drink & bite. They do however have plenty of outlets available to connect your charger to. Can't say much about the food cause i've only tried the fries, but the fries are always fresh and crispy and well seasoned! My fave spot for brown sugar boba!

Big fan of gong cha. Lots of great options and they have great bogo deals! I usually get the panda milk tea (regular milk tea w/ agar and black sugar boba). There's a bunch of other boba spots nearby as well like Happy Lemon and iTea!

A regular spot for boba in Alameda. Staff is friendly and efficient. Drinks are also consistently good and of high quality tea. I've tried a number of drinks and all are great Tip: BOGO from 6 pm - 8 pm is the best deal so bring a friend or date!!

Way too long to wait for 2 boba drinks when no one else was in the store. Tea was flavorless and watery.

I came in around 8:30, a few tables outside had people drinking their coffees and eating breakfast. When I walked in, only one guy was waiting for his order. There was only one person working. The taste is wonderful. * The person at the cash register was tremendously apologetic when I reported the main issue below. They offered me a refund, which I accepted. Props to them for being so apologetic and gracious about it. Now the disappointing stuff: * Ordering is a little confusing as inside the front door, it appears that you need to order from a kiosk. We did, but it turns out they take orders in person in the back. Ah well. * Although we got there about 1PM and they were open to 5PM, there were a lot of menu items that were already sold out. Including pretty much any baked goods. Sigh. * All the tables that seat four people had one person at them with their stuff spread all over the table. Technically not the restaurant's fault, but it was kind of annoying. We opted for the community table, which was empty. * After what felt like a considerable amount of time, they brought out the "big breakfast" that my significant other had ordered. Without comment, the bagel was replaced by a single piece of toast cut in half. We looked at each other quizzically, and I said, "I guess maybe they ran out of bagels?" Well, OK. Sigh. But where's my order of a bulgogi sandwich? I told my SO to go ahead and eat and not let the eggs get cold. * He tried the eggs, but they were kind of dry and lukewarm, like they had been dying in the window. I said, "How could they be dying in the window when mine isn't even here yet?" But there it is. * My SO had almost finished his lunch, and there was still no sign of mine. Finally I went up to the register and asked. Turns out they had never even started making mine. Um, what? Two orders come on the same ticket, and you decide to make one and not the other? * As I mentioned above, they offered to either start my order then or give me a refund. I was so disappointed and frustrated that I just took the refund. Then we walked down the street to Ole's Waffle House so I could order food and have a chance of receiving it. There, I had one of the best patty melts I can recall, and my SO enjoyed what he said was the best piece of carrot cake he ever had. Plenty of good coffee refills for half the price of the tiramisu lattes. Dandelion Kaffe was busy, but if the kitchen doesn't feel like making what you order, then what's the use?

Their menu selection is wide, offering a variety of lattes, coffees, and teas, but also both pastries and small meals as well. It's no wonder why they're always popping around this time of day. Although I haven't tried many of their drinks, I can say that their matcha latte has been consistently good. Today I ordered one with almond milk and the matcha flavor is nicely balanced. Good ratio between matcha and milk. The matcha itself tastes pretty well rounded - not bitter, but also not too subtle in flavor. I probably got the matcha here like three times and it has not failed me yet. My partner really enjoys the Malasada but they can sell out pretty quickly. Previously I've tried their Ube Crinkle and their donuts and they were pretty good as well. This time, I wanted something a little less sweet and small so I tried the Bibingka which was great! I love mochi and the Bibingka had a mochi texture to it. It comes with some pineapple bits which I tend to avoid, but my desire to try something new overrode that today and thankfully, the bits were small. It's a dense little bite, but I enjoyed it! A perfect little bike treat. I don't get much interaction here with the workers since it's such a quick stop, but it's okay. I think depending on what time you go, it just gets really busy and employees are just trying to chug out the orders. We'll be back again for those delicious drinks and pastries though!
