Amazing gem from Taiwan. Loved the matcha mango and the matcha Mille crepe cake. Staff were super nice and food delicious.

Good quality of tea as always. I had their aiyu lemon, it's refreshing with lemon chunks, love it so much. This store is a bit of noisy, I had some hard time to get my drinks ordered.

I normally don't go to Gong cha when I'm in Katy Asian town but I saw these cups on TikTok and I HAD to get one. It's so adorable! It's the Milk Foam Gingerbread Milk Tea with Pearls but apparently you can order whatever tea you want and pay $1 extra for the cup. We didn't really care for the milk foam but the flavor was nice. I think everyone should go to Gong Cha and get this cute cup for the holidays :D

I've been to gong cha a few times and really enjoy their drinks. Most recently went because I had to have that gingerbread bottle. I did get the gingerbread milk tea. While I loved the actual drink itself, the foam was very sour tasting. Ended up getting a straw once home so I could avoid drinking the foam. I'd go back and get the drink again but ask for no foam.

Great drinks to close the night after dinner. The service is quick and the drinks were made as ordered. While enjoying our drinks, we sat and played some Jenga with another group next to us making it 10Xs more fun.

Unfortunately, I am pretty disappointed in this location. I got excited but I saw the name Gong Cha, and was even more excited that we didn't have to drive somewhere else after going to the grocery store next door, but the milk in my drink looked like it was separating, like it was spoiled or something. My husband pointed that out, and I thought it was nothing so I shook it app and drank it and it tasted OK but both of our drinks pretty much had no flavor at all. I got a dirty brown sugar boba and we also got a coffee drink with boba, the coffee did have a strong bitter taste, but nothing else. Neither was sweet, and neither was really good to be honest. I get a brown sugar or taro coconut each time and it's been the worst I've had. I would want to try them again, but honestly there's so many good places in this area that I'm not sure if I would waste another almost $20 on subpar drinks that are mostly just ice. The only good thing was the girl at the register was nice when taking our orders and bathroom was clean.

Love coming to Gong Cha for boba. They are usually super quick with getting your drinks out. Lady who was placing my order explained what was in my drink and made it easy for me. I got their Thailand mango milk tea 70% sugar. Already comes with passion fruit jelly ! This is my new fav drink here and will definitely be comm g back.

Eh. I'll give them kuddos for following the correct covid procedures; no seating, masks enforced, but that's about it. The girl who took my order, pretty sure she didn't care to be there. Customer service is so so essential. It makes your experience even more memorable. She was in a rush to take our order, and being our first tome, we wanted to read the menu properly. We had to change an order and she wasn't happy about that. I had gotten the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca and it didn't leave a lasted impression on my taste buds. I've had much better elsewhere. It was really bitter and the tapioca had an odd taste to it. I was looking forward to this place a lot, based on the reviews, but it wasn't at all what I was hoping for.

I love boba tea and I had heard a lot about gong cha. So I decided to give it a try. I tried their yoghurt mango tea with pearl. It was just okay unfortunately for me. I have definitely had better boba teas. They have a ton of options. So definitely a good one time try to understand your options better.

Overall not bad. Quick service, drinks are decent, and large parking lot. It's located on the left side of Hmart.

The drinks are good but the waffle bubble is awful. Staffs are friendly and social distancing is applied here. They also removed tables so they can comply with the government guidelines.

So by jellos, it's basically jello. And you can ask for sample before picking a jelly/jello for your drink. Notable samples were; Sesame which had a grainy texture to it but I still liked it. The thai tea jelly was amazing and strong!! The milk tea itself was as expected. The strong point was the jelly/jellos. I really like the furniture since it was all velvet and almost gave that sophisticated feel but it was kind of broken up by all the claw machines and the claw service corner. The ambiance is a weird mismatch. The items in the claw machines looks like knock offs and I had NO desire to even try. Overall, skip the claw machines, try the jelly/jello samples, enjoy the vibes on one side the room and maybe ignore the other side. Free parking out front.

Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. It's not the first time that either of us had a green tea, but this one had no sweetness, and it was really hard to eat the crystals that they had cause it also seemed like the lychee was not peeled all the way, so it was like you're eating fruit skin while drinking your drink. My other friend got a milk tea which she really enjoyed so I think if we ever go back, I would try maybe their drink that has coffee in it and not just a green tea with something. It's really strange how you order your drinks because they have a kiosk upfront and it tells you to order there but they also have people at the counter to order. We tried to order at the kiosk and it wouldn't take the card so we had to order at the counter with the lady and they use a intercom type speaker to talk to you through the glass and then when your order comes up, it's like you're in a train station. It's very loud and very strange and I don't think it's actually necessary if people just use their regular voices not a very relaxing place.

The lack of an English sign didn't help, as I figured Yan Kei was all about BBQ (#1) and Yan Tea was something like a cafe, when in fact it was the same place the entire time. Still, the rarity that is Cantonese siu mei in Houston, let alone Katy, makes this place still worth a look. It's always great to see the daily selection of meats hanging near the window to entice folks. They have roast duck, soya chicken, BBQ pork, and a very crispy siu yuk pork belly. I think their 3 meat combo over rice (三寶飯) is the way to go. It's the most ideal lunch option and could also make for a fairly hearty early dinner meal. I wouldn't go too late though, since most of their meats are at their optimal freshness during the early morning / afternoon. It's not that spacious, but it's enough for small'ish groups to dine. Takeout is pretty common here, often with some kind of bubble tea. I'm not particularly fond of the latter, but then again I've never seen a specialty Cantonese BBQ place and bubble tea do either particularly well. Another area that they're solid in is the congee selection. The pork and preserved egg are enjoyable despite the pricetag ($9) and the fish slice congee also gets a thumbs up. Prices are adequate for Katy and the service is good overall. It's worth noting the parking can be a challenge during peak hours and especially on weekends, since this is one of the busiest corners in all of Katy Asian Town. _____________ (#1) Not to be confused with Chung Wang BBQ on the same block.

I have a ton of younger cousins who are always working with an allowance budget, so finding somewhere that can actually appease their appetite without breaking the bank is not easy--especially if you're feeding 10+ kids. MeetFresh's $15 giant desserts are truly the king of both budget and flavor. I cannot stress enough how much of a hit this place was the first time I recommended it to my cousins. Whether I'm with them or not, they always make a point to stop by whenever they drive into Houston from College Station. For that reason alone, MeetFresh holds a special place in my heart. It has given my large family a fun, worthwhile experience time and time again. On my most recent visit, we had a friend flying in from Chicago, so we brought him and his girlfriend here. We collectively ordered the Taro Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, and wow--if you're a fan of Chinese herbal flavors, this is the dessert for you. I usually stick with the mango or strawberry fruit dishes, but this one reminded me of Sâm Bổ Lượng, a Vietnamese chè/sweet soup. The flavors were earthy, comforting, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. I genuinely could not stop eating it until the very end, when all that was left was a puddle of melted ice and mixed-up dessert "schlop" -- LOL.
