    Butterfly Lemonade

Sweet Sip is a boba spot in the back of the South Shore Mall food court that serves teas, lemonades, and desserts. The menu is versatile and there are many unique flavors to try. They have specialty butterfly pea tea drinks and the prices are reasonable for the quantity/quality. The teas came out pretty quickly when we ordered and the line move pretty quickly too. There's plenty of space to sit in the food court as well. I tried the butterfly lemonade which was really sweet in a good way. I couldn't really distinguish the butterfly pea flavor in the drink but it was tasty. I'd recommend trying it at least once if you're looking for a refreshing drink at the mall.

Sweet Sip is a solid boba spot in the corner of the South Shore Plaza Food Court! I've only had drinks at Sweet Sip so I can't speak about their desserts, but there are macarons and perhaps some other sweets available. There is a large variety of drinks you can get here, ranging from the classic milk tea to their more unique specialties -- the butterfly tea drinks and the mangonada. So far, I've tried the Tropical Mango Lemonade, Mango Kiwi Lemonade (both butterfly tea drinks), and Mango Pineapple Smoothie. Something I like about Sweet Sip is that you can choose what fruits you want in your smoothie! I think it's up to two fruits you can choose for your smoothie which was pretty cool. However, I didn't like that the large cup I got for my Mango Pineapple smoothie made me feel like I was getting skimped out of the amount of my drink. It was quite tall, but not wide. It didn't look like the large cup they had on display. The drink itself was really good though, you could taste the freshness of the fruits and it wasn't too sweet, so no complaints about the taste. Their butterfly tea drinks are pretty tasty as well, but not something I'd go out of my way to get. It comes with jelly/toppings included in the drink which I like, but to me, it can either be a toss-up of whether the drink is a bit on the bitter end because of the tea, or too sweet because of the syrup from the toppings. The butterfly tea drinks are aesthetically pleasing, but not a go-to drink for me. The service is pretty quick with no frills. Overall, Sweet Sip is a bit pricy for boba or a smoothie, but super convenient if you're in the mall looking for a quick tasty treat.

Got the peachy lychee from Sweet Sip and it was so good! I got it half sweet and it was just perfect for my palette. Love that there's real fruit in the drink that you can eat after it's done! Would highly recommend it! I got a strawberry banana smoothie (not pictured) as well and it was just as tasty and not too sweet! You can tell they used real fruit which is nice. Easy parking because it's in a mall which is a plus!

I had to kill time at the South Shore Mall and came across Sweet Sip. It had a cute appeal with bright menus and very colorful drinks and egg puff desserts. I ordered the strawberry butterfly lemonade and was surprised at how sweet it was. I have such a sweet tooth, but this one was a little too much for me. Knowing how sweet this drink is, I wonder if they are able to modify the drink re: sweetness/sugar in the future. I might come back to try the egg puff desserts, but will pass on the butterfly pea tea drinks.

I was really excited about trying this out but I was left with disappointment. We ordered two butterfly pea drinks and both were extremely sweet - you can sure taste that syrup. We also ordered the pandan egg waffles and wasn't a fan - was it supposed to be a little sour? I heard the Mangonada was amazing but the drinks were such a disappointment that I'm not sure I would come back for it.

Got the peachy lychee and it's super refreshing! At 50% sweet it definitely hit the spot. The extra fruit was also super nice at the end!

Stopped by on a Sunday right before the mall closed. Walked around the mall a bit to try to find this place until we realized it was in the food court...duh. For drinks we ordered the Thai green tea with crystal boba and avocado smoothie. For food we ordered the pandan egg waffle with mochi inside. Both drinks we delicious. I actually liked the avocado smoothie better, it was very fresh and hit the spot on the hot summer day. Unfortunately they ran out of golden boba but I'll give them a pass since it was the end of the day. The pandan waffle was my favorite! It was made fresh and the texture was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely add the mochi for some extra chew!

Mangonada and Passion Fruit Tea with lychee jelly.

Decided to stop by and give this place a try. We ordered a mangonado, passion fruit with lychee jelly, matcha Mochi waffle and taro Mochi waffle. The mangonado was delicious! It hit all the right spots. The passion fruit was okay but wasn't enough flavor. The egg waffles were good but doesn't have enough flavor as well.

Matcha bubble waffle ($5) and Vietnamese iced coffee ($4)

I am glad that they have a spot at the South Shore Plaza Food Court and I don't need to go to Dorchester to try their bubble waffle. It is at the far end corner of the food court (Google's direction is really messed up). Fresh bubble waffle is the best treat and the coffee is tasty!

Their macarons are 1 for $3 which aren't worth it, but the drinks are really good. Staff are fine. Cute store in the plaza.

The drinks usually don't disappoint... I've tried quite a few and they're always been yummy. Today I ordered the Peach Green Tea with Milk Foam, but I wouldn't recommend it since it tasted a bit sour. All my friends' drinks tasted amazing. My personal favorite is the Tbaar Green Milk Tea because it's floral and creamy. If you like drinks that are more on the milky side rather than super strong tea, Tbaar is definitely for you. My memory of having Tbaar in the past is fuzzy, though I don't remember enjoying it very much back then. They have so many drinks on their menu, I honestly couldn't figure out what I wanted haha. Thankfully, one of the workers helped me out by giving me recs & I was then able to decide on two smoothies to try! I ordered a mango strawberry banana smoothie & mango orange smoothie. Thoughts: Both drinks had an artificial taste. The mango orange smoothie came with mango chunks that reminded me of the canned dole pineapple chunks, same idea. Eh. Still drinkable though but not something I would come back again for. I did enjoy the strawberry mango banana smoothie much more than the mango orange smoothie. Originally wanted to give Tbaar 3 stars, however, the worker that helped me was very nice & saw some other reviews saying to try their teas so maybe I will give that a try next time.

This is due to some creative decisions I disagree with and, at times, very little eel. Meanwhile, Sake Japanese Restaurant hits just the right spot! The creative decisions were excellent, with everything coming together splendidly. The fish was fresh and in more than generous amounts. This, in turn, makes the cost of about $20 per roll seem reasonable and makes it much easier to stomach (I didn't intend the pun, but I will own it). Regarding the Holiday and the Kevin Page, these maki rolls are similar. Both shine with the white fish on top and generous amounts of tuna (and salmon in the Holiday's case) within. The eel and cucumber add a pleasant new dimension to the pieces. I'd say these two are like identical twins adopted by different families. Each will have some unique personality and flair, but at the core, they are one. The crazy tuna brought something different to the table. While I am generally not a fan of the chopped-up style of fish, here it just works, and I didn't mind it. If I were to guess, this is because many places have more tempura than fish and add too much spicy mayo. Despite the style, the tuna was still able to shine through. For the inside, I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the cumber with the sweetness and savory notes from the eel. Finally, the service was polite and speedy, though it wasn't bustling. Thus, not only would I happily return to Sake, but I would love to order the same three rolls again, for they were *that* good.
