    Mango green tea with QQ
    Chantelle B.

Hidden Location | Quick Service | Bi Weekly Text Deals So I've never visited a Gong Cha location before but I did sign up for the bi weekly text deals. I've never acted on any on the text deals until my bubble tea craving collided with a text deal. It was "free topping on any size mango green tea"... exactly my order. When I googled the location, it was close by to Scarborough town centre but it looked like it was at the bottom of a condo building. After driving around in the underground parking lot for 10 minutes I anxiously pulled out and just parked on the street to find this place by foot. Good thing there's a bright sign so I saw the location as I was founding the corner. It's right next to an IDA pharmacy and a 24 hour convenience store. The location was really small but they do have a few tables and a high top bar around the perimeter. I wasn't sure how the text deal worked but I just entered my phone number at the kiosk and it came right up. With the other customers inside, pulling up the text deal and all of the fog in my glasses because of my mask mixing with the cold weather - I forgot to pull up my rewards card to be scanned. Onto the BBT. It was SO good. The best I've had in a while. I usually go to Chaitime and I'm glad I made the change. I got a large mango green tea, less ice and 50% sweet with QQ topping (tapioca + coconut jelly). It was perfectly sweet and the tea was correctly brewed. This was the first time I actually saw mango pulp inside of a fruit tea beverage. I'll definitely be going back. They were also really friendly inside there too. Don't sleep on this location.

Exterior - its hidden at the bottom of a condominium

This location recently opened for the best! Really needed a solid bubble tea place by Scarborough Town Centre. It's hidden away by the Civic Centre at the base of a condo in Albert Campbell Square. It's easy to miss with all the construction happening. This shop is very small, 3 tables for 2 people and a bar stool counter by the window. Wouldn't recommend for large groups or for studying. It's more of a take out only location, compared to the Steeles and Warden location with lots of seating. Luckily the mall and a public library are right around the corner. Love the entire tea menu but my recommendations are: Milk foam winter melon tea - best of all popular bubble tea chains in the GTA. Milk foam is salty and rich. It's meant to be cheesy but I'm kind of happy it departs from the original cheese milk foam it's meant to be inspired by. The thick layer of milk foam compliments the sweet, light winter melon tea. I like to add basil seeds (50 cents extra) for extra texture and nutrition, making it more special. 4/5 Royal milk tea - way better than Chatime classic milk tea IMO! Best with pudding add-on. 4/5 Worth the 5 minute walk to and back to the mall for good quality bubble tea. Absolutely recommend.

Wintermelon milk tea with Grass Jelly $5.30 regular size

This small tea place is hidden amongst the condo towers and I often walk by this area without a thought...until today. I chose the regular size Wintermelon milk tea with Grass Jelly $5.30 plus taxes, no ice and 30% sugar sweetness. Well, this $6 drink is surprisingly good after my noon walk. I was the only patron inside this shop and took a seat at the window counter. The music was relaxing, the service very quick and my order was prepared fast. I'm impressed!

#9 - Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea
    Paul M.

I went there a month ago and it was closed. I thought I will give them a call and to my surprise someone answered the phone. I pre-ordered my #9 (Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea), arrived 15 minutes later and it was ready. I read a bad review about the staff but everytime I come, staff are friendly and courteous. The bobba is as good as before. Perfect sweetness and right amount of ice. Keep up the great work. Strongly recommended.

We tried two of their best sellers: the Mango Sago with Tea Jelly and the Fresh Grapefruit Iced Tea with Aloe. Both were incredibly refreshing, but the Mango Sago was the standout for me: creamy, fruity, and perfectly balanced with the chewy tea jelly. The Grapefruit Iced Tea was also light and crisp, with aloe adding a nice texture, though I found myself leaning more toward the richness of the mango drink. It's clear that this shop puts effort into using fresh ingredients, and it pays off in flavour. Just a heads-up though, the space is very limited with only a few spots to sit, so it's best suited for grab-and-go. It's not the kind of place to lounge around, but perfect if you're in the area and looking for a quick, refreshing drink, especially if you're into fruit-forward teas. Service was quick and friendly. With so many options around, this one still manages to carve out a niche for itself. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Midland/Finch area!

Living in small town USA, I am definitely not used to this fancy or "elevated" bubble tea. The Strawberry milk tea almost drank like a smoothie than a milk tea, but it was just what I was looking for. Rich, sweet and slightly sour...it was the perfect after dinner dessert drink. My wife's 3Q was more of a classic milk tea, with 3 different types of toppings (boba, coffee jelly and noodle jelly). The different textures made the drink quite enjoyable as well. I will definitely be back.

Since I was at a plaza with so many bubble tea joints that I can't keep track of them, I decided to select one that I haven't been to. It would be an easy feat. Moge Tee was a few doors down. Perfect! I walked in. I got the nicest welcome from a man behind the counter. I looked at the menu and the fresh peach oolong tea sounded great. He let me know that there are three types of peach oolong tea: - One has milk - One has cheese foam on top - One is the tea itself I wanted the last one. I went with 30% sugar because I wanted a change. I also went large. I didn't look at the menu long enough to choose toppings. I just wanted a drink. That's okay. Next time! I paid with a credit card. I also gave a tip because he was so great explaining the variants of this tea. With tax and without my tip, this drink came out to $8.42. It better be good! I looked at all the sticky notes on the wall. It reminded me of Cha Miao in Richmond Hill that has a similar setup. I will say that parking is more relaxed here. My drink was ready in no time. I was so happy. He gave me my drink and a straw. I thanked him and happily walked out of the store with my drink and dinner. I carefully placed everything in my car. I then drove home. The peach oolong tea was excellent. 30% sugar was barely noticeable. It was chilled. I loved the peach flavour that tasted like enjoying a ripe peach. I could taste the oolong tea. It was so good. Moge Tee has a membership program. I'll need to look into it. I'm a fan. I will be back. (61)

I've never been to a bubble tea place that brings your oder over to your table, that's good service and a good way to differentiate yourself from your competition. In the photo the drink looked super thick to me but that was not the case. It was definitely tea consistency and not milkshake like. I could taste the Oreo cookie bits in the drink which was nice but they got soggy after a while. There's portable battery charging packs that you can borrow. Above all, the drinks were a hit with all 3 of us. I decided to try their March special - Oreo Puff Cream Milk Tea, friends ordered the Darling Lemon Tea and the HiTea Signature Fruit Tea. We all were in agreement the the teas were delicious and we enjoyed our little table to chat and hang out. The Oreo Puff Cream was delicious though I couldn't taste much tea flavour (I like my teas a little stronger). I did however enjoy that the drink itself wasn't overly sweet as I asked the Bobarista what sugar level she recommended for less sweetness. It was served as per their usual level and it was great. My friends both enjoyed their drinks as the lemon shone through and the tea itself was tasty and refreshing. The HiTea Signature Fruit Tea came in a jumbo cup with lots of fresh fruit that we enjoyed. The tea flavour definitely shone through in those drinks. Overall, I think this might be a new hangout spot for us with the delicious drinks so far and the cozy atmosphere. They also sell snack foods in case you're feeling a little peckish. I'd be interested in trying those along with their other bubbletea offerings. I will note that the prices here are a little higher than say Chatime or Coco but I owe that up to the fresh looseleaf teas, and the more premium cups and environment.
