I visited Gong Cha because we wanted something refreshing on a hot summer day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The boba shop was inside a rundown strip mall but the inside was clean and modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] An employee greeted us immediately and took our orders. I tried their lychee oolong tea with coconut jelly 0% sugar - delicious and light!

Large brown sugar milk tea with boba $6.99

I have a hard time finding a lot of boba shops in Tampa. We visited this one since we are in the area and they had some cute gingerbread cups. When we got there I found out the location didn't have them, so I was a little disappointed. We ended up just grabbing a large brown sugar milk tea with boba for $7. The drink comes with black tea and the typical swirl design on the side of the cup. I wished it was a little sweeter and had less ice. There's a few tables to the side if you want to hang and a little wall to take your insta shots. The staff made our milk tea quickly and were out in no time.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place looked very clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the worker was super sweet and friendly even helping us pick out our drinks and providing top tear customer service. The food was also super good [[HIGHLIGHT]]the whole entire store smelled amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Boba w/ Cheese Foam

I have been dyinggg to try this place as all my favorite YouTubers rate this place highly across the US! Got the crème brûlée tea with brown sugar boba and crème cheese foam. The boba was so yummy - I wish I got a little less sweet, and that would've made it perfect! Can't wait to try more drinks here.

Well you know my tea addiction and I'm always on the hunt to try new tea places! So of course I had to go abs give it a try!! Cute shop located right near my work which made going here to try this place a breeze. Easy entrance and exit with plenty of parking. Greeted upon entering abs we were the only customers. Deciding what to order was a challenge because they have soo many options that look good. I opted to go with the matcha milk tea with almond milk and unsweetened. I have to admit it's not one of my top rated. It was just ok. Tasted watered down and I really didn't like the flavor of their matcha. Will I return? Yes, I want to give them another shot and try something different. I won't give up on you just yet Gong Cha!

Gong Cha seem like the one we saw at Gwinnett near Atlanta. The drink selection is similar too. This boba place is kind of new. Good tea taste. The boba is marinated in brown sugar. We got the earl grey milk tea with 3js. The 3js stand for three jelly. The jelly are grass jelly, egg custard, and boba. We also got the brown sugar boba tea with almond milk. Both tea selection are excellent.

It's not often that I don't give a boba place a higher review. My main complaint with my experience here is that I asked for 1/3 sweetness and the drink was still by far the sweetest I've ever had! I did Not feel good after drinking that and I drink bubble tea on the regular so this is saying a lot. The menu has lots of options which is great but a bit overwhelming. Prices are a bit high.. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The interior was clean and cute.

This place was alright. I'm always searching for boba places and found this place and figured I haven't been here so I decided to try it. It's a bit pricy and it's okay. They have few seatings and they do have a variety of items. I'll give them another try

This place is a bit out of our way but well worth the drive! Was impressed, I think their boba is better than most of the boba places in Tampa. You can call them and order ahead which I'd recommend because they were a bit slow with the drinks and food. They also sell food btw, we got the crab Rangoon (so good, generous amount of filling!) and the matcha waffle (pretty good... kind of bland imo...but it's a unique concept). For drinks, we got the strawberry taro with strawberry popping boba (Highly recommend!!) & purple sweet potato smoothie with reg boba, no sugar (tasted like they used real potatoes which was good, but I probably should've added some sugar lol). Tapioca balls were soft, chewy, fresh. I'll def be going back to try more of their drinks. The only downside was the time it took for them to have everything ready. We even called 20min ahead to order our food but still had to wait additional 15ish min when we got there to get our drinks and food... Other than that service was great, the place is small but very clean and cute!

This is a new and very nice bubble tea, dessert place by waters ave. I was too lazy to read through the long menu . So I scanned the top 10 best seller chart on the wall and picked #7- Earl Grey milk tea with 3 jelly. It was an excellent choice. I loved it. Evan better, I got to choose less ice and less sugar for my drink. That reduced my guilt of intaking too much calories. The slippery jelly melt in my mouth and the perfectly done boba pearl was such a wonderful sensation, no wonder people are crazy about bubble tea. Kudos to their Boba chef ( or boba tea mixologist)! Overall , good experience, we will be back.

Matcha waffle, chewy and not too sweet

Best boba milk tea in this area. Love the earl grey with triple j, though I usually get it with little sugar and ice. Tried their matcha milk tea, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Passion fruit green tea was refreshing and delicious, but be aware there's quite a bit of sugar in it (even with no sugar request the syrup is inherently sweet). Matcha waffle was yummy- chewy and not too sweet. Husband loved it. Boba not as chewy and sweet compared to Kung Fu tea, which I agree with the other reviewer is better if done right. However, I find Kung Fu tea is inconsistent dependent on time of day and location. Sure you have to wait a bit for the waffles and drinks, but I think it's worth it for a quality product. Let's support local Asian businesses! They have a rewards app.

Loved the Matcha Waffles, it was simply the better tasting one, we also tried the Orginal with Strawberry Sauce, and the Chocolate with Chocolate Sauce. It's a bit of a wait for the waffles, about 10 minutes for us when we went last night. They got a decent drinks menu with lot of options for drink flavors, also they can customize the sugar and ice level. I got a Taro Milk tea drink with boba, the drink and boba were average for me. Drink was ready fast within 2-3minutes. They used powder and didn't mix the powder very well, I could taste a bit of powder texture in my drink, it was still pretty good tasting and they did a good job with making sure it was 50% sugar which is what I reqested. The boba was decent, not as soft or sweet compared to Kung Fu tea (the gold standard for drinks in tampa area in my opinion). My friends got fruit drinks, passionfruit and mango and they loved it. Not much seating inside, about 5 or 6 small tables with 2 chairs at each table but most people get their drinks to go so it didn't get too crowded inside.

I've popped in and out of the Perfect Press a few times now. I am a huge coffee snob, and I really…read morewasn't expecting much from somewhere that I heard had gone viral. However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! The team is so great, and the shop currently has some of my fave baristas from formerly open shops. They're awesome! I highly recommend stopping in.

If you're driving on north Dale Mabry in Tampa... and you see the Carrollwood Village neighborhood…read moreentrance- make a safe uturn and head in. Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.
