The protein waffles are my absolute favorite I usually get the Romeo and Juliete which has strawberry coconut and chocolate drizzle . It's light and fluffy without being overly sweet. You'd never guess they're packed with protein, I also can't do whey protein so confirmed that it is plant protein . Their smoothies and green juices are also super tasty without tasting too chalky. One of the best parts is that the store is usually owner-run, and they're always super friendly and helpful when recommending items or explaining what's in each drink. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. My only complaint is the pricing or seems pricing everywhere. One time I didn't even check the total, and my waffle and green juice came out to about $32, which was a surprise. It's not a deal-breaker because the quality and service are great, but it's worth keeping in mind. Overall, Protein Monkey is still one of my favorite healthy spots in the area if Im craving something sweet.

We ordered: a mango slushie, 50% sugar, with mango popping boba; a Hawaiian fruit tea, 50% sugar, with butterfly pea flower boba; pork soup dumplings and a kimchi waffle. While we were waiting, we were alerted that the waffle machine was no longer working, so we were offered a refund for the kimchi waffle. Fine. There was only one working working until we were able to leave. As such, service was SLOW. I think we waited close to 20 minutes before we had our drinks (the food came out sooner, but I think it was microwaved). The pork soup dumplings were not housemade. Not a huge deal, it's hard to find housemade soup dumplings. But for $9.99 for 6 is too much to pay for frozen dumplings. They tasted exactly like the soup dumplings that I've bought from MD Oriental. The drinks were not good. My daughter's mango slushie was cloyingly sweet and had a weird aftertaste. She took a couple sips then declared she could not drink more. My fruit tea was drinkable but not great. This place isn't close to my house, so we have no reason to return.

The atmosphere feels like stepping into a little piece of Vietnam right here in Florida. This place is run by a hardworking husband-and-wife team, and you can really feel the care they put into everything here. They've just reopened after being closed for about four months during the winter, and I really hope they get the business they deserve this season. They offer authentic made Vietnamese dishes along with fresh sugarcane juice, Vietnamese coffee, and other traditional treats and seasonal fruits. One of our favorite parts is just walking around the property. The koi fish pond area is so relaxing, and there's also a peaceful lake toward the back where you can just hang out and unwind. There's even a lookout area further back with a large deck built around a tree, such a cool and unique touch. You can tell the owner puts his heart into this place. he's done a lot of the building and renovations himself, They also have lots of Vietnamese fruits for sale and fruit trees throughout the property. Honestly, even if we're not super hungry, we love stopping by for a quick stroll and coffee. It's peaceful, different, and just a really nice escape.
