So I come here every now and again and I was nearby so I decided to stop in ordered a Taro cake batter w/brown sugar boba and while it was absolutely delicious it was seriously all ICE! It's weird bc I've never had this experience before but next time I will surely remember to say light ice!
Every time my partner and I go to Midtown, we swing by Midtown boba. The shop if small but their boba packs a lot of flavor. They have something for everyone. You can get a fruit or milk tea and even adjust the sweetness according to your liking. I always get a fruit tea and it always hits! Next time you're around midtown, stop by and get some boba!
Since moving to Tampa, Midtown Boba has been on my list of places to try. With my other boba-loving friend visiting the area, I thought there was no better time to check out this business until now (and I wish I would have sooner!). I typically stick to ordering any fruit based boba teas. This time I went with the mango lemon green tea and added strawberry popping boba. It was absolutely delicious! I loved that there were actual lemon slices included in my tea. My friend ordered the strawberry limeade tea and my sister ordered the strawberry fresca tea, each added mango or strawberry popping boba to their drinks. They loved their teas as well. We spent the morning walking around Bayshore, so grabbing a bubble tea to sip on afterwards was quite refreshing. The location is super easy to get to as well, especially since there are so many parking garages around Midtown (they are free, too). The inside had the cutest decor including a fun mural and hanging florals on the wall. There is limited seating inside, but that isn't really a problem since Midtown has so much outdoor seating anyways. The menu is quite large, so you have an abundance of options to choose from. I can't wait to come back and try out more teas.
I like Midtown Boba and surprised I haven't reviewed it yet. I have been here a few times and it's great as a grab and go stroll around Midtown. There's not much seating a few high chairs inside to look out and a few tables and chairs outside. They have more drink options now than before and that's great. This time around I ordered the strawberries and coconut cream but subbed mango purée instead of strawberry. It was really good but this one tasted mostly coconut to me. Either way it was still good. It's nice you can request less sweet here too. They have diff boba options and I didn't add any and kind of missed it.
One of my fav spots! The freshest tasting mango milk drink, I love it with lychee chilly! The best combo! They also have bursting fruit boba as which are so yummy to eat/ burst with flavor in your mouth! Service is always fast and friendly, super cute decor. Easy parking as it's inside midtown with both street and garage parking. Definitely recommend!
It was a good first time visit in the heart of Midtown Tampa. My initial first impression is that there are two businesses at this location. As you enter, there is another door leading into a cycling studio. The boba bar is to your left. We were greeted as we entered. I pretty much knew what I wanted from viewing their online ordering menu. They have a Strawberries & Coconut Cream drink that can also be made with a mango puree. I substituted the strawberry with the mango, and added strawberry popping boba. It was creamy & delicious. The popping boba had that natural strawberry taste that was very pleasing. The service was quick & polite. All our questions were answered. They have fruit tea, milk tea, slushes, and milk alternatives. The non-dairy coconut cream mixed with tropical mango made it feel more like a mocktail. It could definitely be the perfect rum drink. What was missing? I just wish they had more of an indoor space with seating. There's a few chairs with bar seating along the window, as well as a few tables outside. I feel like it's more for the residents who are living, working, or staying in the Midtown complex. I guess that's the point. You're supposed to take it away with you.
Cute little tea shop in Midtown Tampa. You can use the parking garage or see if there is some street parking in the front. It is across from a Sephora and there is a Joffrey's coffee a few doors down. There is also a Ben and Jerry across the street. The employees were super friendly and very kind. We got a couple of different teas and they made a Strawberry slushy for my kids. I don't think I would be back if I was in the area, but if you love Boba, it's nice and soft and chewy. The girls were very kind and they gave suggestions. The restroom is clean and they turned the hallway light on for me to walk down there. It is a very small tea shop so don't bring strollers and if you can help it.
I have been here many times and this place is pretty solid. They have very creative drinks, and my favorite is the Oreo brûlée green tea! Most of the drinks are awesome, but I will say I was a bit disappointed with the Thai tea. The Thai tea is a bit too sweet, and had too much milk. Everything else I've had here though was a standing 10/10. The location of this shop is great; they are located inside of midtown and there's even a cycle bar in the back of the shop which I think is neat. The staff is super friendly and are more than willing to help.

Absolutely delicious! It was my first time going to get Boba at Midtown Boba. The service was pretty fast. I got the strawberry coconut slush and it was so yummy. There aren't much seating in the cafe, but that's okay. Midtown has a lot of spots to sit down at outside and enjoy the Tampa bay weather. read more
This was a surprise to find for us. I love Vietnamese Coffee with Boba, but today we decided to try Boba tea. We both shared a Lemon Lime Green Tea & a Strawberry Coconut Cream Milk Tea. They were both super tasty & super refreshing. So they apparently come with boba. The lady taking my order said we could have chewy black boba or any other bobas. So from the list of other bobas I chose bursting mango bobas. Then she charged us an extra .75 per drink. So that & the tip made the bill rather high. Next time I will know to just take the black boba. read more
This place has your standard boba options, but what stood out to me was the mango milk tea and mango boba--not something that you see often at boba shops. And it was delicious. It tasted exactly like a ripe mango. The service was also very fast. My boba was ready by the time I finished paying, although I was the only one there at the time. read more

The boba has a great texture, and there are plenty of options to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for. The staff is friendly, and the shop has a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime boba fan or trying it for the first time, this is a great spot to check out! read more

This is my favorite Boba spot and it is located in Midtown. The flavors are amazing but my favorite is the super fruit tea. I get it all the time and I come here three or four times a week. The service is amazing and the tea is very good along with the Boba. read more

Boba shop located in the heart of Midtown. The cycling studio is also inside. Overall, some interesting flavors here all of the teas are quite good. My only calm is that the Boba itself was really hard as a rock and not too good. Also quite icy, nearly 10 bucks for one drink. read more

I asked before purchasing if the drink I wanted to buy could be made without sugar. I was told yes. Got the drink, and it's extremely sugary! Transparency goes a long way, but not here. Wasted $9 read more

Been looking to try this boba shop and finally got the chance! Tried the tiger taro with brown sugar boba and the strawberry coconut crème with regular boba. The "cake batter" crème they add to the drinks really has no taste, sorta just a subtle sweet cream. My boba was also a tad bit undercooked with some pieces being crunchy. Neither were too sweet & I'd give the taro a 7.5/10 and the strawberry coconut a 8/10. Overall aesthetically pleasing drinks for pictures and maybe next time I'll try the passion tea instead of milk teas. read more
My favorite bubble tea in Tampa! It is always consistent, the ladies who work here are all very friendly. I know I'm going to get exactly what I order and it's gonna taste amazing! By far the best boba in all of Tampa Bay! I love coming here because they make you boba fast and fresh. Plus, I always customize my order for 50% less sugar and light ice. Otherwise, it'll take like you're just swallowing sugar. I like the custom plastic drink glasses too. With two it's $6.72 read more
This boba shop is super clean and modern! It's located in the Midtown Tampa plaza where parking will not be an issue as there is a parking garage in that same plaza. The staff was super nice and offered to answer any questions we might have had since it was our first time there. I ordered the Tiger Thai Tea which is a thai tea with cake batter topping slathered along the sides of the cup similar to how brown sugar milk teas have the syrup along the sides. The drink had a good thai tea taste to it that was made just mildly sweeter than it was with the addition of the cake batter. The taste overall wasn't overwhelming. The boba is listed on their menu as "chewy boba", but it was a bit too soft for my liking. Fun fact: The shop is attached to a cycling studio which can be found in the back right of the store. I didn't check it out at the time, but it's super interesting for sure! read more

Super cute boba spot in Midtown that shares a space with a cycling studio! Stopped by with a friend on a whim and was surprised at all the different drink options. They had a huge menu on the wall with drink pictures and descriptions which was super helpful. I assumed it was only boba but they had regular milk teas, fruit infused teas and slushies. I ordered the Thai milk tea with boba and it was delicious! A super yummy mid-day drink. I'm interested to try the cake batter topping that's in certain milk teas such as the "Tiger Thai" and "Tiger Taro". My one comment would be for the staff to communicate whose drink they're setting down on the counter. It was a bit of a guessing game and my friends drink was left sitting out for a couples mins as she didn't realize it was hers. Simply saying the name out loud would work! This aside, I'll definitely be back to try different flavors! read more
It's a nice place. It's really nice. With a lot of great options and combinations you can choose from. You might struggle with a choice because... well there are a lot of great options. Interestingly enough, this place is attached to a Spin gym. I can't imagine a worse temptation after a workout. Anyways, it's a classy place with "classy prices" so you'll feel the burn if you come here often. read more
A fan favorite of the strawberry & coconut kind here. Boba isn't often my go to beverage but I certainly make it a priority when I'm next door grocery shopping to get my fix. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and all though the line was long, it went very fast. The workers were very efficient and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was very clean and aesthetic with a cute flower wall for pics. I had the Strawberries and Coconut Cream milk tea and it was so delicious. My daughter had the Mango Lemonade and she loved it. We Will definitely be back soon to try more flavors! This place was a 10/10!! read more

I love this boba spot. It is one of my favorites in Tampa! The strawberry and coconut cream is the best thing on the menu. It is not too sweet and its vegan! Add the strawberry popping boba. You wont be disappointed! read more

I absolutely love what they are doing with the Midtown Area. It's so exciting to see Tampa grow at such a fast rate! I had to check out Midtown Boba after seeing everyone post the most aesthetic pictures of their Boba Tea. The vibe is casual and modern. The service is very friendly, and I have always gotten my drinks quickly. I have tried the Strawberries and Coconut Cream and the Tiger Taro. Both are delicious! I had to deduct 1 star because the drinks are pretty overpriced. I can't justify going every week to this place, but it is a nice treat every once in a while! read more

This is really like a 3.5 for me. Pros 1) Milk teas good - I liked the Taro 2) The boba itself is good 3) Cute shop Cons 1) Staff wasn't that great, several working when we went in and we were the only customers, but no real effort to explain to us how it works - we'd never been there before and we're pretty familiar with boba shops but they really gave us zero guidance. I asked about the sweetness level after I ordered and they said it's not sweetened but I can change sweetness to 0, 25, 50, 75 or 100. So I said - Okay well I'd like 50% and they're like well it's not sweetened already, so I was like, so am I adding or taking away sugar and it was totally unclear - apparently it depends on what drink you get. I think I ended up with a drink that is unaltered (Taro Milk Tea). It definitely was sweetened but I couldn't tell you at what level. Really confusing. 2) Fruit tea - just okay - lots of seeds 3) Apparently there is some kind of rewards/star program - because I saw a sign that said that, but again, no idea how it works or how to sign up. No input 4) Limited seating inside if you want to sit and chat with friends We came to the Mid-Town area specifically to try this Boba shop and look at a few other stores. Not sure we'll make the trek again. read more
