My wife liked her chicken ramen, and my daughter enjoyed it too. She also said the mango sushi was great. This spot offers a mix of noodle dishes and tea with boba. I ordered a tea with boba, and it was really good. The boba was very fresh and chewy. I also liked that they let you adjust the sweetness level to your preference. The interior is a bit small, and most of the seating is communal, so it might be a little challenging for larger groups. I ordered a strawberry boba milk tea, and it was honestly one of the better bobas I've had in the area. The flavor was very sweet but not overwhelming. I usually get my boba in this little kiosk at the mall and its hit or miss, Kung Fu Tea has quickly become my favorite stop. They have a lot of different options to choose from. The atmosphere is pretty chill too. They have many high top tables to sit at and eat or wait for your order, granted you won't be waiting very long. Toppings are plentiful and complemented the broth well. Typical large ramen bowls were generous with noodles. The rice bowl was served in the same sized bowl with plenty of pork and broccoli. Each portion could easily make 2 meals. On the way out, I picked up a brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba was plentiful and tasted fresh. Wow sweat, would probably ask for half sweet next time. Kung fu tea is my absolute favorite boba spot and my drink of choice is the honey oolong milk cap! The honey oolong is fruity and sweet, the boba pearls are so soft and chewy and the milk cap adds a nice density to it. The line was long but I waited about 5 minutes for my drink. Having been to a few of the Kung Fu Tea locations around the country, this is one of the better ones in terms of food / boba quality. I ordered the fried chicken bowl with noddles. Both the presentation and the flavor are great (for a "fast food place"). It came with a soup selection (miso or egg drop with chicken), and that was yummy as well. While eating, I placed my boba orders to go for the fam via their app. The bobas are cooked just right (fresh with right amount of chewiness) and the tea flavors (I got Thai tea, winter melon tea, Oolong tea and green tea) were spot on. I've been going to this Kung Fu Tea for a while and never have been disappointed by the boba. If I'm in the mood for boba, I know I can rely on Kung Fu Tea for being consistently good. I usually get the honeydew slush, honey green milk tea or just the original KF milk tea and they always make it delicious. I'm very picky with boba but they know how to cook it well (not too soft, nice and chewy, and usually warm). The service is good, never had an issue. Nothing stands out. Here's what happened. You order your food with the cashier up front. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. My wife ordered the takoyaki. They do not have sodas so we ordered a mango slushie. We grabbed a table and waited for them to bring out our food. The takoyaki came out first and it was good, having small pieces of squid and being creamy inside. Next came my ramen along with the slushie. The ramen looked different from the picture on the menu. I tried a sip and I started coughing. It was their spicy version. Not happy as I was not in the mood for spicy. I asked the waitress to change it to which she seemed disoriented at first but then made the switch. My observations about the ramen is that it was a bit saltier than expected, the boiled egg was cold, the bamboo shoots were too thick and the pork slices were too thin and fatty. Not the best bowl of ramen. Also the biggest observation was that the broth was warm. Ramen broth needs to be piping hot! We finished our meal and left. This was a fun stop before lunch up the street. They have several booths for 3 to 4 people, and that was perfect for the three of us to drink our Boba Tea and chat. I've been wanting to try this place for a few months, and was finally in the area at lunch time. They are part of a small strip mall, so there was parking right out front. Since it was my first visit, I had the guy behind the counter give me some recommendations. I ended up with the Tonkotsu ramen (pork broth, pork chashu, pulled pork chashu, scallion, nori seaweed, seasoned egg, bamboo, and kikurage), gyoza, and honey milk/milk green tea. I love that all their milk teas are actually dairy-free. I ordered to-go, and I thought they packaged everything very well. There was so much ramen broth it didn't even fit into the plastic bowl provided, but that was useful for the next day's leftovers. I loved the flavor, and was very pleased that the pork was not stringy or fatty. The bubble tea was delicious! I thought all Kung Fu Tea locations were alike, but I guess I was wrong. I decided to try this location one day while I was shopping in the area. I really wanted to try Brioche Bakery which is in the same plaza but found out it was permanently closed. Anyway, I ordered the matcha sesame milk strike which I've had at the Riverview location and loved it. I usually add herbal jelly with no issue. Something just didn't taste right with this drink. I don't know if it was too much black sesame or something off with another ingredient. All I can say is that it had a very unpleasant smell and taste. This is the first time that I didn't finish my milk tea. I usually like the matcha milk strike. The service was great. I didn't wait too long for it to be made. I haven't tried the food there. I'm a huge Kung Fu Tea fan. I definitely give a 5 stars for the bubble tea drinks as Kung Fu is consistent with the tea. I never have to worry that my taro or my matcha won't taste like taro or matcha. The food is good, but nothing that I crave. I actually prefer the Cheers Cut Taiwanese bento lunches over the Token ramen menu items. The ramen is a solid ramen for a fast food establishment. I've actually had horrible ramen at ramen only spots, so great job to Token for serving decent ramen. Again, it's just nothing that I can rave about. So the ramen get's a 3 for being average. This Kung Fu tea is in the middle of the pack. We got the coffee slush with boba and the winter melon milk tea. I agree with Vivian that they need to improve the mixologist of the tea. Somehow it do not have the taste of harmony. The ingredients is good. The honey boba is still very good. But the the tea bitterness need to tone down. Caffeine is well maintained but the the tea bitterness somehow need to reduce. Milk is a bit heavy compare to many milk tea I have tasted. This restaurant has token ramen section. It appears this location had a Ramen place attached to it where it serves all kinds of food. We definitely don't have this at any of our Kung Fu Tea locations in Atlanta. They are still in their soft open phase, so they are a little disorganized. That being said, I love ramen and boba tea, and my husband loves hibachi, so this place covers both our likes and is also very convenient to us. As I mentioned, this location just opened up this week, but I've been to the Fowler and Brandon locations. The menus are very similar. The interior is very bright and clean. Right now, the only options are take out or delivery, although the dining area looks like it'll be great once the coronavirus situation settles down. I had the tonkatsu ramen. It was pretty good, and the serving size was quite generous. My husband had the hibachi beef, and he really enjoyed it. We also shared an order of the ninja chicken, which was tasty and still crispy despite having to travel home with me. We also had an assortment of bubble teas. Returned home after a trip out of state and wanted something light to eat. I haven't had ramen since I visited NYC so I was excited. Hungry was not the word to be used which is why spring rolls, gyoza, and a bowl of black garlic ramen. This was my first time experiencing Token Ramen and I enjoyed everything.
