When I found Home Cleaning Home on Yelp through their very high reviews and Yelp guarantee, I was willing to take a chance! I reached out through Yelp and Vina (the Owner) responded same-day and quite quickly I booked our first cleaning for the following week. The plan was to have an initial cleaning and if all went well, we'd continue to have monthly cleanings. On day of cleaning, Vina arrived right on time and did a walk through to assess the level of cleaning needed for the first time, set expectations, and discuss pricing and scheduling. Vina's very professional and everything discussed sounded reasonable. Vina determined a deep cleaning would be necessary for the 1st time and the additional cleaning of the inside of the stove was quoted as well. Vina left and the two cleaners came in with all their supplies and got to work right away. Around 3 hours later, the cleaners were all done and our 2-story approx 1,800sqft house was immaculate and smelling fresh and clean. I text Vina to arrange payment which we agreed to complete via Zelle. Then, we set up a plan for Vina to text me at the beginning of each month to schedule the month's cleaning. April 1st Vina text me and we scheduled April's cleaning for the following week with a tentative timeframe. Day before, Vina text me to confirm the exact time. Day of cleaning, the same 2 cleaners came a few minutes after the scheduled time and same as before brought their supplies in and got right to work. Two hours later, they were done and the house was just as clean as the 1st time. My husband and I have both been very pleased with Home Cleaning Home service and are so glad we found them! Pricing for our size home (2-story, 3 bed, 3 bath, 1,800sqft) is $250/month and although it's significantly more expensive than a friend pays for her house cleaning, we feel it's worth it and that cleaners deserve to be paid a living wage so we're happy. I'd recommend Home Cleaning Home to anyone in the Sacramento area looking for cleaners for one-time or consistently.

The day started…read moreoff well, although late, I did get a phone call from the owner explaining that the crew would be late. No problem. The crew arrived and immediately got to work on cleaning my home. I was not present for the full duration of the cleaning, I left for about 3-4 hours and returned towards the end of the cleaning session. When I returned to my home, there were things very out of place...and broken. The shower doors in my primary bathroom were "forced" in a direction that they do not go, therefore, the doors didn't open and close correctly. I was able to fix that part, no big deal right? Wrong. Next, the rubber piece at the bottom of the doors popped off during cleaning and couldn't be repaired without glue, which I didn't have nor did the girls cleaning. Then, I noticed the knob on the doors was missing! I asked about it and none of the 3 women cleaning knew what happened to the knob. Next, the light switch knob also went missing. Lastly, I noticed that two pieces of my blinds were also missing! And not a single person mentioned anything to me or called me about it. I had to discover these items on my own and inquire. Just not the best business practice. I originally considered hiring this company again but after all my discoveries, I won't be hiring them again. The price was reasonable, but the courtesy of the women who came to my home was not. They did not take care of the home and were not careful. Disappointed.

After inquiring with numerous cleaning businesses on Yelp, I noticed how responsive and professional Henry, from Maria's Cleaning, was and quickly received a quote from them of $280 for a whole house deep cleaning. For reference, the house is roughly 1,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fast forward to the day of the house cleaning, Gala, our cleaner, was scheduled to arrive at 1:30PM. However, 1:30 came and went but no one showed up. We waited 5-10 minutes before I reached out and asked if anything was wrong. In fairness, Henry responded quickly and said there was an "unforeseen delay" and that she would be over in 5-10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes passed and still no one. Gala didn't arrive until shortly after 2:30PM, almost an hour after the scheduled time. Gala arrived and we helped her with her many cleaning supplies/equipment into the house, and she got right to work. She started with the bedrooms, and worked her way towards the front of the house. One slight problem was that Gala doesn't speak the best English and when my Mom asked her to focus on certain parts of the house, we weren't quite sure she understood us. However, she forged through and methodically went through the house. Gala probably didn't finish until close to 10PM, however, after she left we noticed a lot of missed areas, dusty corners/ceilings/walls, and some areas completely untouched. Honestly, we were surprised only one cleaner was sent as it felt more like a 2+ person job and as Maria's Cleaning wasn't the cheapest quote I received, I did have higher expectations for their services with a fee close to $300. Sadly, we were disappointed with the tardiness and overall with their cleaning services.
