Man, there's a lot of hatred and rage in the reviews here. I've been coming to ICC since they…read moreopened and have never had (or seen) anything other than respectful, friendly, helpful service. Let's get one thing out of the way: the owner is not a man who murdered his wife. That guy was awarded a license for a second store eight years ago...a store that never opened. His son, who was seven at the time, is the co-owner of ICC. Maybe they're a bit pricier than some other shops, but they also don't allow tipping the budtenders. When I factor that in, they become real price competitive, real fast. To the "get out of my face you loser-know-nothing-I'm-browsing-and-know-more-than-you" kinds of bizarre comments: wow. Just wow. I've worked in retail sales and there's always a balance--and they pretty much nail it. They politely and gently ask if you have questions and if you say no, they walk away. Bitching about quality of product? They have pretty much the same brands as all the other stores. Poorly rolled pre-roll? That's the producer's fault, not ICC, and it's absurd to ding them for that. They literally can't open the packaging to check to see how tightly the joint is rolled. There are budtenders who've been there for years and know product inside and out. And newer ones who will ask their more experienced co-workers questions if they don't have the answer. I've never been steered wrong, as I have at other shops. As for entry and ID requirements, they're the strictest of any shop I've seen. They got a ding early on and, if they got a second one within a certain time period, they'd be shut down. Closed. Put out of business. The ID check is quick, easy, 100% consistent, a perfectly sensible business decision. I agree that it's very weird that they wouldn't accept a passport or some other forms of ID. I'm going to ask they next time I'm there if that's the policy. Maybe this isn't the shop for people spending 100s of dollars every week (really? I can't get my head around that). Maybe there are shops with more consistent budtenders, or lower prices (don't forget the no-tip policy!), or better sales, or... I'll keep coming here gladly.

The city of Issaquah is insanely strict about weed shop regulations, too. Secondly, if you read their website, their ID policies are clear. Leaving a 1 or 2 star review for that is silly. Yes, this place is a pricier shop. If you look on their website before you go, their prices are clearly listed.
