I've been a Medical Patient here for months now.On my first visit I was issued a "card" And told I did not need to produce it each time I picked up my orders.That was until tonight, things are different now.I could have been alerted that I did need to bring my card with me to get my order.this lack of consideration was a huge turnoff.I'll be shopping elsewhere for a while. Pissed at the change without notice ..This is sadly after many happy purchases w/o issues, this sucked...Update 05/07 I happened to notice the lack of responses from "The Box"... My wife has been noticing over the last year that she hasn't really been getting her FULL medical discount. Stash box has been ripping her off on eligible medical products and only giving her 10-20% off every time instead of her 35-45% off..... Joint Rivers sells it for $24 during their early bird special or $30 normally. That's a $16 difference for the exact same product. Stash Box is basically robbing people blind. It's not just one product either--everything here is overpriced compared to other shops. And their return policy? A complete joke. You get one day to return something, which is just another way they make sure you're stuck with whatever overpriced garbage they sell you. What kind of store operates like this? If they actually cared about their customers, they'd stand by their products instead of making it impossible to get your money back. Oh, and don't come here expecting variety because their selection is laughable. They barely have any of the good brands, and when they do, the stock is pathetic. Today is Friday February 28th 2025. I seen online that you guys had some Emerald City cultivation concentrate for $10. I called the store to ask if you had any more strains for the same price from that same company. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me yes yes we have a couple strains for $10 from Emerald City cultivation. I said okay so instead of me and my wife driving home to Buckley we took a detour to come to stash box only to find that you have none for 10 bucks zero Emerald City cultivation for $10 you do have $10 stuff from Emerald City cultivation B brand and from other brands but that's not what I'd asked for. The manager or the woman proceeded to come out from the back and was extremely rude picking stuff off the shelf and almost throwing it in our faces that this is from the same company but no it is not from the same company that I had asked for. Her tone and body language was aggravated and rude and offensive. I've been shopping at stash box since it originally opened. This put a foul taste in my mouth. Definitely would recommend going somewhere else if you have the option. I was in frequently a few years ago and was never impressed by the selection nor customer service. Few days ago I was in the area and decided to stop in- bought a $45 disposable dab pen only for it to hit a few times and die the next day. Was so thankful I kept my receipt as it's been an extreme inconvenience not having one today yet they won't let me exchange it without the packaging. I understand protocols but at the same time I had my receipt and this was a day later. Could've been an easy fix and happy customer but you just lost my business. read more

Go somewhere else. I recommend Lucid in Auburn less than 10 min distance. I recently moved and have been a frequent customer, but customer service definitely needs to be improved or new workers. Manager was super cool. Big guy with beard and glasses tries to talk big smart words, but in reality has no idea what he's saying. One of the older ladies working is just rude before the conversation even starts. Tried to return my defective disposable pen, but was told it's not possible before even looking at the pen and was told "my generation just doesn't understand." Wtf does your defective product have to do with my generation? And she kept talking over the manager when we were trying to have an actual conversation about the situation. I love it here. Stash Box carries quality products at reasonable prices. The attendants are hospitable, they are helpful in providing info about their selections and are honest with their opinions on certain buds. $10 for a gram of preroll brings me here everyday. The parking situation is rather annoying however customers are always coming and going so a space always opens up. Be patient people lol I recommend the Permafrost or the White Nightmare! I was in the area and decided to swing by. So glad i did!! My first few visits were not good. This time i had a much better experience. Staff was friendly and they had a good selection. Check their website for specials. The parking situation is beyond horrible. This was my first Saturday visit. They are a busy shop. I waited in line with 6 people, with two cashiers, it took maybe 3 min tops before i was out of there. Super fast. Love the new easy to read "TV" menu. I would love to see them move in to a new building with better parking and a bigger sales room. It feels really tight with 10 people in there. I look forward to watching them grow! The normal 1g flower that I buy is $13 here where I would normally get it for $11. Fucking annoying. Some of their flashlight cops think they're real cops. Argued with one of them on a few occasions.. Never have parking and have almost had people run into my car because of it. And they never have deals, like ever. It's like finding a four leaved clover if you do manage to find a deal, and most of the product there is bammer anyway so it's never really a win. Stash box is about 20 minutes from my house. Which is sadly the closest Mary J shop to me. I have a rare chronic illness and weed helps soothe the pain. I have never been before to this store and have heard some "okay" things about it. Since it was an emergency I decided to go to the closest shop. Given my luck it happened to be the time their ATM machine was out of service. And being a smart business they only had one. To me that's a single point of failure. Needless to say a business that requires cash only, but cannot provide working ATM machines is a business that doesn't deserve business. I wasted 40 mins on a drive for no weed and C- customer service. And the nearest ATM was 7 eleven. Which was also out of service. Don't recommend this shop. This place may not have the best selection or best prices but it's not far from where I live. The reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars is because of the customer service. I haven't smoked in many many years but as a service connected disabled veteran with a lot of pain issues I knew I needed to try something else. I can get a prescription for just about anything and I'm sick of all the pills and side effects. I have been to a couple of other dispensaries now and their top shelf just isn't as good. If you want quality high concentrate stuff this is where I recommend to go in south king county. You pay more for quality which is to be expected. They also give a veterans discount here if you have some form of ID (VA ID card, retired card, etc.) This is a small place and it can be packed but people don't loiter here. Again, all the staff here is very friendly and will gladly answer your questions to ensure you're happy with what you get. I've been to tone dispensaries where I ask for the best sativa and it's far cheaper but the quality just isn't as good. I'll definitely come back. Wanted to like this place since it is nearby and they offer great stock & prices. Budtender that assisted me was very nice, however the manager could use some common sense customer service tips. I purchased a few oil cartridges and one was not the correct one that I picked out. Left the shop, realized an hour later when I emptied the bag.. Drove back and was told I can't exchange for the correct one. Package was unopened. Here's the odd part- If I opened the package and damaged it I can exchange it!! Common sense lacking. Not to mention it was their fault for giving me the wrong cartridge in the first place! With as many Rec shops around, I'm happy to take my money somewhere else. read more
