This little establishment is next to Asahi Grill and across Patagonia on Ward. You won't miss it. Once I got there the building shares with a Spa Day Care. The Spa and Good Chicken shares the same entrance. It will be located on the right and you can order from the window. We ordered the following: whole chicken plate, tteokboki, garlic chicken plate, chicken plate special, and steamed pork mandoo. The whole chicken plate comes with fries and a drink. The steak fries were generously salted and very fresh. The chicken was OMG crispy on the outside, not to mention not too much batter, with juicy inside. The breast was very juicy! Didn't expect that! The chicken plate special came with this brown sauce, it tasted okay at first. It grew on me after I kept on using it as a dip sauce. I think it was simmered down chicken drips with garlic, onions and butter. It has this weird taste , which I can't quite figure out. I don't think I tasted that spice before. It's different. But you have to mix it well to get the full taste. I liked eating it with my chicken. The garlic chicken was not spicy at all, a little sweet and not too much spicy. But it was good! The tteokboki, oh man was spicy, I should have advised not too spicy and more sweetness. I couldn't handle it. It had fish cake and onions in it. I think if I had it sweeter , it would've made my top 2. The steamed pork mandoo, was eh ok. No taste unless you add shoyu. It's just pork filling with rice noodles. Overall Experience: Satisfied, chicken is juicy! Parking: tight not too much space up front, park on road Mood: full Will I go again? Definitely, if in the area and feel for good KFC!
This hole in the wall place is always good. This was my second time eating food from here and it was just as good as the first time. The only thing is there's no tables to eat on there only chairs to seat and wait for your food. I mean I guess you could just seat and eat on the chairs but I prefer a table so we can share. Trust me when you guys go here you are gonna want to try all the different chickens they have so I would go with a group and sample each other's chicken. But this time it was just me and my son so we only got two different chickens and mandu . I got the garlic chili and he got bbq and both were good. Even the mandu was delicious. Can't wait to eat here again.
Once in a while on the way home, we'll pass by this place that looks like they sell Korean fried chicken. Though with a name like "Good Chicken," we were a bit skeptical for quite a while - is it REALLY good or are you just saying that? Nonetheless, we decided to bite the bullet one weekend afternoon and stopped by to order. Our first time actually resulted in a relatively long wait. Maybe 30-40 minutes for a few orders so rest assured, no wing was left uneaten that afternoon. The wings themselves were still crisp by the time we got back to the apartment, the flavors were outstanding, and it was juicy on the inside. Good chicken might also be one of the few places that offers really good rose tteokbokki and other sides as well so don't sleep on those if you have a good appetite. The second time we got Good Chicken, we called it in prior to avoid the wait. Wings and rose tteokbokki were ready by the time we got there and they even generously threw in some extra goodies for us at no cost. Overall, I think Good Chicken makes some of the best Korean fried chicken on the island to be completely honest. Better than the franchises you see popping up. We'd probably pick this place over B.B.Q. which is one of my favorite chains. Though admittedly, we don't come as often as we could. We noticed that they opened another location in Waikiki and unfortunately, we weren't really craving Korean fried chicken that day. Though I really do hope they do well because this place deserves it. Highly recommend calling in and making an order the next time you're craving for some Korean fried chicken!
My favorite spot for crunchy and oh so awesome wings. My favorite is the garlic chili wings or boneless. They have a great crunch and the chicken is moist. The flavor is sweet shoyu garlic with a kick of heat, I love eating the extra peppers topped on. The Mandoo has a tasty filing, they don't get as much crispy as I like but still delicious. They also don't serve your normal mandoo sauce, they serve it with a pickled daikon sauce. If you want something close to the traditional sauce, ask for extra garlic chili sauce. My wife loves their Teokk Bokki, the broth is a nice sweet heat that builds as you keep eating it. They are on a back road, so if you don't seek them out, you'll never by chance walk by to enjoy their delicious food. They are also take out only. The main server is always so polite. We will definitely keep coming back for more.
If fried chicken or korean fried chicken is your thing, you can't miss out on Good Chicken! It's takeout only and the ordering window is tucked inside of the spa next door, with benches across the window for waiting for your food. It seemed like everything was made to order, so be prepared to wait at least 15 min for your freshly fried chicken. We just wanted a snack so split a "good chicken plate" which was their plain chicken with dipping gravy, 2 rice scoops, and a tossed green salad dressed with a creamy balsamic dressing for $10 (a really good deal nowadays!). The chicken was SO crispy on the outside (it crackled as we bit into it), and super juicy and flavorful on the inside. Will definitely return to try some of their sauced options! This place seems like a real gem.
Bandit was just driving passing by to this Korean fried chicken house, so off trying 'em coz chicken is what for dinner. Take note that this eatery is "take out only". And if you don't have the patience to wait, call ahead! Food: Chicken Wing Original Fried, 20pcs. ($30.95) - crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside. Though it wasn't seasoned well I'm glad that I decided to pay for an extra sauces (honey shoyu & BBQ Chicken) so that helped a lot to have some savory flavor. Kimari (seaweed roll), 4pcs. ($5.95) - surprisingly ono! T'was my first time having this & I did enjoy it. The light coated batter makes everything crispy good. The filling was a lil bit surprising as well. Thought there's gonna be some meat inside but it's all glass noodle. It kinda taste a bit sweet & I am not sure how kimari really tastes like but overall I love it. I can eat 'em all lunch long! Overall t'was good! French Fries ($3.50) - love this! It was seasoned with salt perfectly. Has a good crunch and did cook fresh. Fries will always be good as side dish so make sure you grab this! While waiting for our order I noticed that the guy whose taking the order always telling their customers 17mins. to wait. Unfortunately the waiting time is always more than that. As per our order we waited almost an hour! Good thing I'm not that really hungry at that point. And as a consolation, the guy gave us free two drinks & a pickled radish in a very small container. T'was nice of him! Overall service is good but the main dish we ordered doesn't really have a "big wow" feature. Typical kfc imo. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow yeeps!
Kimari: glass noodles wrapped in nori, battered and deep fried. Very good when fresh. Eat this quickly because it is not as good after 2 hours. Order this and snack on your way home. Fried pork mandoo: very delicious and one of the best I have had, perhaps because it is homemade. Fat and juicy. Wish they had a sauce to go with this. Still delicious eaten naked. Chili garlic plate was delicious. The garlic and jalapeno sauce drizzled over the chicken wings was the highlight of this plate. I wish they sold it in a bottle. Prize is descent for a plate, but for all you chicken wingers out there, there was only 5 wings, so you will need to order sides. Parking is limited on property. Take out only. I would return to try the other plates, and to get more mandoo.
Tried some korean fried chicken today in Ward. They have several parking stalls in the front. I was lucky and scored the last stall. The building is shared with a massage place. In the front is good chicken and in the back is a Korean Spa. Service was very minimal. The guy at the register was definitely a man with very few words and a stern face. I opted for the good chicken plate for $10. It came with 2 chicken, 2 scoops rice, and a tossed salad. The chicken skin has a very interesting crisp to it that no other place really has. next time i would probably just try boneless wings since there wasnt much meat on the chicken that i ordered.
I love a no-frills eatery. There are lots of Korean fried chicken places in town. But, this stands out for its hearty mandoo and tasty chicken. First, there are 2 kinds of mandoo, a pork and a kimchee. Both are plump and filled with veggies, ground pork, and yam noodles. Get the kimchee mandoo for the extra flavor. Next, we tried the boneless garlic chili chicken. I really liked this flavor. It seems unique to this place. The sauce is soy sauce based with chilis and slightly sweet. It's not a sticky glaze. I recommend it because it's not too spicy. The boneless pieces were nice pieces of chicken and not formed patties. I would get this again. I called in my order, and it took about 15-20 minutes. I got there a little early and was offered a can of green tea. That was such a treat! Nice customer service!There are a few big chairs for the wait. It's a take out place, so there is no eat-in area. The hard part is driving home with the smell of yummy chicken and mandoo. Oh heck, just pull over and eat in the car!
I've been meaning to try this spot for a while now as I've been hearing good things about it. We decided to try it out because we love fried chicken. When you get to the location, they have a limited amount of parking stalls out front. Luckily, there was one stall left. The main entrance is shared with a massage business and the order window to Good Chicken is located to the right as you enter. They have several benches where you can sit and wait for your order directly across of the order window. There was a male at the counter to take our order. He was very friendly and suggested which type of chicken to try and order based on what we liked. There was a female in the back who appreared to be cooking. The menu is posted near the window and they also have a video running of people eating their fried chicken to the right of the menu. We ordered: 1) Tonkatsu Plate - the tonkatsu had a good amount of pork in it and it was crunchy with a tasty sauce 2) Garlic Chili Fried Chicken Plate - the fried chicken was fried well with no pink. The garlic chili sauce was yummy but the jalapeño was very spicy, a little too spicy for me so I didn't eat any more after I tried it once. 3) Fried Mandoo - really good and worth getting! The filling was tasty and the mandoo had a great crisp. We waited about 10 min for our order which was not bad as the food was crispy. Each plate comes with rice and either toss or mac salad. They also offer pickled daikon which comes in a small sauce container. I would return to try a differnt flavor of chicken and to definitely get some mandoo.
"All eyes on me when I step in the room." -BLACKPINK I was hankering for Korean when my bestie and BFF started talking Korea. I love things Korean too, especially K-Drama, BLACKPINK, and Korean KFC! So of course good KFC needed stat like Boombayah! I perused Yelp for "Korean Fried Chicken" and several popped to the top, but one stood out because I admit "Good Chicken" is it's name! C'mon! Pretty Savage! Located near Ward and the industrial side is where you'll find the "Barn Red" building that looks like well a barn lol! Just note there are four skinny parking spaces up front shared with the Korean Spa & Massage business! I ended up looping three times before a spot opened up. And I'm guessing both businesses are related somehow... 'cause the space in front of the Spa & Massage was a chicken customer! Good Chicken is quite popular but know it's a "take-out" spot only! I ordered Boneless Chicken Plate with Honey at the counter. Since it's made to order I was told a 10-minute wait. All good as I sat on the bench with the other young thugs not knowing it was waiting area for the Massage Parlor! Hey yo, I'm only here for the chicken hope it's good! Bet You Wanna! :D My order is called and the plate is heavy so that's a good sign! Take-out only so I take it to Ward Center to eat. Rice, Mac-salad, Korean Pickled Radish and of course that addicting Korean Fried Chicken! Boneless! How You Like That?! Ohhhhh my Gawd! That first bite was everything! Jisoo come share with me! Moist chicken with crisp exterior and that honey, Honnay took it next level! For $15 after taxes it was worth savoring every lick and bite! So worth! I'll go again! Ddu-Du Ddu-Du ohhhhh baby I recommend Good Chicken for all KFC lovers! Hey! The chicken is HELLA GOOD! Crisp with addicting flavors and if you like Playing With Fire... they have FIYAH too! We were excited to try this place. We ordered the garlic chili chicken (10 pieces) and a side mac salad. The flavor on the chicken was almost non existent. I barely tasted garlic or chili. I needed more sauce to dip the wings in since it nearly tasted like plain wings. Mac salad just tasted like mayo. Since the spot is just a window you order at, you'd think the prices would reflect that. Skip this spot and go to a sit down restaurant with better tasting wings.
This is my second time here and it's never a disappointment! You want GOOD CHICKEN? Well, You will get GREAT CHICKEN and MANDOO instead! This time instead of picking up for dinner(which ended up doing anyway), we were picking up for Super Bowl Sunday (on a Sat night bc they are closed on Sundays). They held up well the next day after reheating it in our air-fryer which was still crispy and full of flavor. We decided on three choices- 30 Regular, 30 Garlic Chili and the 30 Korean and some steamed mandoo (sooo ono) plus since we were already here, we chose the Honey Shoyu plate which my son loved so much that I only got one piece for myself (oh well, next time I'll pick up more). The BIG HIT with everyone was the Chili Garlic which there were no leftovers at all. It has a little tingle but that's about it. The flavors were all on point and the chicken is moist, plump and plentiful. The price point is cheaper than Wild Buffalo Wings and their chicken is not slim at all. While I do love Foodland's salt and vinegar wings, their chicken wings are tiny and lacking. All in all, the food is fresh and we love that they really concentrate on making absolutely AMAZING GOOD CHICKEN! Next time, I'll get more mandoo and try their other features. Seriously the best chicken ever. The garlic chili is my favorite as well as the rose ttoekbokki which doubles as a dipping sauce for French fries or mandoo. Order extra because it's just as good cold or reheated the next day. read more
Nom Nom Nom! First time here, and the fried chicken was delicious! The man at the counter was very helpful and friendly and answered all my questions. This is a take out only. I ordered the fried chicken (10 pieces) and the garlic chili chicken (10 pieces). Also the Kim Chee Mandoo. The chicken was crispy and juicy and I loved the spicy Mandoo. The chicken is fried to order and the waiting area is spacious and nice. I'm definitely lookin forward to returning to try those other tasty chicken dishes. read more

My partner is always on the hunt for some good chicken wings so we stopped here last night to check it out. We ended up getting the half portion of the garlic chili chicken wings and an order of the pork mandoo. The garlic chili chicken wings kind of tasted like garlic soy sauce chicken wings and they weren't spicy at all but they were still pretty tasty. My partner said he'd probably consider them one of the top 5 Korean fried chicken wings he's had. The pork mandoo were a little lack luster for me but I'd be interested in trying the kimchi ones next time. Definitely worth a visit if you like Korean fried chicken. read more

Super friendly and some good chicken from a good person. The owner is so nice and accommodating which makes being a regular that much more worth it. The garlic chili chicken is absolutely finger-licking good. The pan fried pork Mandoo was good and such a generous amount but super-filling...would be great if we could order half-portion, though. read more

Good Chicken is a great name for this chicken business. The business owners are nice people and very friendly. There is several parking stalls in front of the storefront and lots of seats when waiting for your order. Menu is simple with several chicken options which also includes a salad option. There are a few more things like Mandoo and fries but simple and easy to order. It's also a good idea to call ahead. Great tasting chicken requires freshness so it will be a wait. Definitely worth the wait.... Very tasty and served with a smile. read more
Quick, cheap and delicious The 3 words I would describe this place! Absolutely AMAZING food! The parking around there is a nightmare but when you arrive it's just inside of the massage clinic. The owner is jus the hind the window and I was able to order food before they opened at 11am. The man is very nice and his love of the food shows in his cooking. Took about 15 mins to get my order. Buy it from a place that makes good fried chicken." - Nora Ephron We were "stuck at home" while having our air conditioning units cleaned and serviced when my fried foods-eating husband suggested getting Korean fried chicken (KFC) for lunch. I told him that we could call in our order to the nearby Korean Fried Chicken joints, and I'd walk over to pick up the order while he stayed at home jib-jabbing with the air conditioning technician. Within our neighborhood, we have several Korean fried chicken joints within a half-mile radius from our home, so it's a walkable distance which would take me less than 15 minutes roundtrip. Calling in or placing an order online would save me even more time since I wouldn't have to wait for the business to start frying our order. We discussed where to call in our order, and I suggested Good Chicken after reading many positive reviews from fellow Yelp friends. I was about to call the order into Good Chicken when the air conditioning technician informed us that he would take a lunch break so we could lock up our home and step out if we wanted to. My husband chimed in to stop me from placing a pre-order since he wanted to go for a short walk to stretch his legs, too. We arrived at Good Chicken and were glad that we walked over because all four of their parking stalls were taken up by other customers. For those who don't know, this part of Kaka'ako is considered a light industrial area. Recently, the State settled litigation over the ownership control of some of the streets in this area because a pair of private citizens claimed they owned the streets and started charging parking fees to the businesses. Parking in this area is always scarce. Many customers to the companies here have often resorted to double-parking, which has usually caused traffic snarls or finding parking a couple of blocks away and feel lucky when they can snag a free parking space within the business' assigned stall(s). Good Chicken has a waiting area and order counter in the former adjoining business (Herbal Spa & Sauna), but we noticed customers sitting in their parked cars waiting to pick up their order(s). On our first visit, we ordered a full order (20 pieces) of naked fried chicken wings. Yes, we debated requesting half order (10 pieces) each of naked fried chicken and garlic chili fried chicken, but looking at other photos, we felt that the sauce made the chicken look soggy, and reviewers claimed it wasn't spicy at all. Our standards for Korean fried chicken are golden brown and extra crispy on the outside with tender and juicy meat on the inside. Also, there should be a mix of both wing flats and drummettes. Although, I'd be thrilled with all drummettes. Hahaha. We placed our order at the window and were told it would take 15 to 20 minutes because there were other orders ahead of ours. No problem! It was not as if we were in a rush to return home or had anywhere else to go. The guy who took our order was friendly and patient. While we were waiting, a group of 10 people came in to place take-out orders since they were on their way to the airport. Phew! I'm glad that we beat them in. Our order was ready within 15 minutes, and the counter worker warned us about its piping hot temperature as he handed over the bagged container. He offered us containers of crunchy pickled daikon radish called "mou or mu" to complement our fried chicken. We opened the container more fully to allow more steam to escape while returning home. Before leaving our home, I programmed our rice cooker for steamed white rice, which we planned to eat with the fried chicken. I broke out a jar of Napa cabbage kimchi and used the pickled daikon radish to complete our meal. The naked fried chicken met our standards, but it was slightly greasier than other KFC. Each piece of chicken owes its unmistakable light, crispy, and thin paper-like skin with little to no batter to an Asian double-frying technique (Chinese call it "paper fried chicken"). The natural chicken flavor was enhanced by pre-seasoning with salt and sugar? (I tasted a slight sweetness) and to me, it tasted good without adding any sauce or glaze. Was Good Chicken good? Yes, it WAS because we ate all 20 pieces in one sitting and will be back for more. read more

Honestly one of the best chicken places I've eaten at. It's close to where I work & honestly that's our go to place. They're fast, easy, & super delicious, AND you get what you pay for! The chicken is so crispy on the outside & tender & so not dry on the inside. The pan fried mandoo was the same; I love it crispy on the outside. I've gotten the whole chicken before that comes with fries & a drink & that plate fed me all day! Even good as leftovers the next day. We've eveFried MandooGarlic Chilin ordered through them for our party food. They're located on ward & Kawaiahao. As soon as you see Asahi grill on Ward Ave, take a left & it'll be on your right side right after Uloha. The parking is small and there may not be any parking on the street either depending the time of day. The man is always so friendly & nice. My bf and I finally tried this spot after seeing it pop up so much on my social media. I can definitely see what the hype is all about. The Garlic Chili KFC (which was not that spicy) was perfectly cooked (crispy exterior, moist interior) and super tasty, the pickled sides beautifully complements it. The KFC pieces are also plumper than most other KFC spots. The pork and veggie mandoo was also good, though it seemed like there was too much noodle and/or veggies. But I love the texture and cook of the mandoo wrapper, and the ratio of filling to wrapper. Definitely recommend! read more

Still as good as the first time we ate here. We love coming back for more of this fried chicken. Jay the owner is still as nice as ever! We have basically tried everything on the menu. Just one item yet to try. Taste is consistent. Portions aren't skimpy. Plate is filling and worth it. I worked with Jay in having our lunch at work done. Everyone enjoyed their food. It got to us warm and delicious! Plates were labeled and ready to distribute. Got a big order give him a call. So easy to work with. read more

I have never mopped six piece finger licking tasty chicken in my life! Take my opinion with a pinch of salt, everyone's opinions are different but Good Chicken is a place I will be coming back to. Make a phone order instead of walking in, cause most of the time they won't have that much parking. (I've seen some reviews about the wait for their food) And yes the wait is a bit humbug but if you want that crispy taste for your chicken then be patient as much as you can. I got the Honey Shoyu Chicken with all salad and let me tell you; the salad was delicious not sure what dressing they used but it was so good. My mouth is watering more for the salad than the chicken while I'm writing this review The chicken was just as delicious, got the crispy taste and it was drizzled with the amazing honey shoyu sauce. I do wish they added more chicken pieces for the price and much more sauce but since this was my first time I'll let it slide. Next time I'll buy the chicken by itself and call it a day. The aunty working at the cashier was a pleasure to talk to while I was waiting for my food, she made this review a reason why I gave it 5/5. Gotta give my support and appreciation for this business. You ever just have a craving for fried chicken or is that just me? Ever since I was introduced to Korean Fried Chicken, I have not been back to visit Colonel Sanders in a hot minute lol. I am a loyal fan to Von's but I heard about Good Chicken and was intrigued since they offer different flavors. I chickened out (pun intended lol) and got the regular, but I was not disappointed. Despite being regular, the flavor was anything but normal, it was savory but had an ever so slightly hint of sweetness that kept me coming back for more. Not to mention, the size of these wings were enormous! I can't wait to get my hands on the garlic chili and the mandoo. Each order of chicken also comes with Korean radish and it has this tart acidic taste that really balances the flavors. read more

Finally I found it! A place selling the Korean chicken I've been searching all over the island for! Itchy Butt has good Korean chicken too but no boneless option so will not go there again. This place on the other hand made me feel like I was back in Seoul. The last place I checked out, Kyochon 1991 is a rip off compared to this place. If you've been dreaming about the day you can go to Korea, check out Good chicken. I've been looking for a place that mimics Korea in food and atmosphere so I did my research and this place had good reviews (and was close to me). It is more Hawaiianized as they have plates that include rice too. The mukbang they play next to the menu is also a cute touch. Tteok bokki ($13.95): This is pretty spicy and when I ordered it the man at the counter asked if I liked spicy. My spice tolerance is ok and I thought while it was spicy it was a nice amount of heat. Unlike a lot of other tteok bokki I've had, this one was not sweet which I liked. The tteok was a little soft but it came with lots of sliced onions and fish cake. BBQ chicken plate ($14.95): Don't be fooled by the name, it is not a bbq like you might be used to. It's more of a gochujang pepper paste bbq flavor. It was a mild spice level that was both sweet and tangy at the same time. I really enjoyed it but there was a lot of sauce covering the chicken so I'm glad I got the plate that comes with rice. I was told it would take 13 minutes so I'd order ahead of you're in a hurry. Otherwise, it's a quaint, seemingly authentic shop and I'm excited to come back and try the yangyum chicken! read more

Good Chicken isn't just good, it's absolutely delicious. After having tried a few dishes on their menu, I can comfortably say that my favorite choice here is the boneless chicken with yangnyeom sauce. (On the menu, it's spelled yangyum.) Yangnyeom is Korean for "seasoning", but don't be fooled--this seasoning is a delicious sauce from the heavens: spicy, sweet, savory, and just a little bit salty. Each plate, from what I can tell, comes with two scoops of white rice, one scoop of macaroni (and egg) salad, and a small cup of Korean pickled radish (which is absolutely standard at fried chicken joints in Korea--the radish cuts through the oil/fat). The fried mandu is also stellar and very noticeably made from scratch. A bit pricey, but worth it if you're sharing with others. If you're ever near the Blaisdell or the Ward area, Good Chicken makes a great dinner. read more

A hidden little chicken place just off of Ward which I happened to come across upon my travels, I decided ok I'm going back and try this place, so I had the chance to go back to do just that. upon scanning the Menu I decided on a Garlic Chili Plate after a brief wait I was rewarded to a steaming hot Plate of Chicken, Ohh the smells of Garlic emanating off the plate! I was tempted to ravish the contents right then and there! But, not having a spot to scarf down the plate I opted to head home and devour it. Good thing I waited as the Chicken was still piping hot! The plate came with about Six wings of Huge sized pieces (not like some scrawny under fed pieces like some other places) covered with the Garlic Chili sauce and some slices of Peppers the Chicken was Just as great as the smell and was very tasty! it also came with a scoop of Mac Salad that had some corn mixed in with it, a small container of Pickled Radish and two scoops of Rice. all in all I was very happy with the plate and thought it was well worth the $12.95 price. Parking is a bit tough as there are only a few stalls in front shared with the spa next door. Omg the mandoo! Love love love it! We ordered both pan fried and steamed, and had a debate over which we liked better. The steamed won, but really both are so tasty! I'm not a huge fried chicken person (I know, I'm a weirdo) but I thought they lived up to their name. I was most impressed that the food was still crispy and delicious, despite us taking it out and eating it about 30- 40 minutes after pick up. A lot of fried food gets soggy but this stayed fresh. I even ate some leftovers cold out of the fridge and it was still Good Chicken ;) Personally I like the spicy garlic but they have something for everyone (plain, garlic, spicy garlic). It's perfect to take out for a potluck or to supplement a meal. They don't really have veggies, we had to make some and we made our own rice as well in order to make it a complete meal. All in all, excellent chicken and mandoo- we will definitely be coming back! read more

They best change their name to Great Damn Chicken! #Irresistible There's about 4 parking stalls, hit or miss with access but worth the wait for this Good Dang Chicken! The window counter is located just inside of the Herbal Spa & Saunas entrance. We usually order the 20 pcs Full Order Fried Chicken with Garlic Chili ($29.95) and let me tell you is deliciously "Good!". Full of flavor with a slight hint of kick. This time around we tried their new 14 pcs Boneless Chicken with Garlic Chili ($13.95). Mmm mmm mmm is it better! Its a good size for boneless. The Boneless Fried Chicken with no sauce is a complete hit for my son. He even says it's better than McDonald's! And you know, McDonald's goes way back! The outside was just crispy enough for texture. The inside so moist, tender, and juicy. He sure knows good quality food! Let's not forget the French Fries! It's a must get with the Chicken! Their fries are the thick kine and has salt seasoning with every bite! *increase in pricing* - As for the flavors, they have 4 to choose from. We have only tried and can't seem to separate from the Garlic Chili sauce with a hint of spice and the Fried Chicken tasty enough to eat without sauce! - Portion for the "Boneless" comes in 14 or 28 amount and the wings "Bone In" is 10 or 20 piece. - Pricing is also standard to other Chicken eateries. The Owner, Jae Park provides great customer service and he's very personable that a conversation strikes every time we come through. No false advertising here as the chicken really is GOOD! So far tried original, garlic chili and honey shoyu. All of it consistent and delicious - crunchy and juicy. Air fryer warm up friendly too (if u happen to have left over which probably rarely happen). Want to share pics but each time ive picked the smell gets to me that i start digging in even b4 i leave the parking lot! The fried mandoo is delicious as well!!! Chicken katsu and pork katsu is delicious and has a different sauce than the norm as it's (to me but my spouse disagrees) like the cutlet gravy and katsu sauce blended. There's a new Korean fried chicken place in Ward!! We tried their honey shoyu and garlic chili wings, as well as the kimchee mandoo. I didn't care much for the honey shoyu but the garlic chili was good! Definitely has a bit of heat. The mandoo had the most perfect skin but I wish the filling had a little more substance. It was mostly just crumbly meat with long rice. The kim chee did add a nice spice to it! All in all, can't say it's my favorite KFC place but definitely would return since it's walking distance from my house. read more

Yay I love Korean food chicken! Love how it's so crispy and not super oily! Stayed crispy even hours after! I ordered their regular fried chicken and fried mandoo to go. Love the complimentary daikon it comes with. Great pupus or to just eat later for dinner! read more

Well, made it back there to try the garlic chili chicken wings like I wanted to. Still crispy even with the sauce on it and so tasty (and the was good for a lightweight like me lol)! Ordered online this time which was super easy and convenient. It gives you an estimated time of when the order will be ready, which is really helpful especially because parking in that general business area can be challenging. Been dying to try the chicken here and finally made it to town!! Their chicken is perfectly cooked with just enough sauce! And I appreciated the free pickled radishes also! The mandoo is amazing...stuffed with meat filling and fried perfectly so it's crispy and chewy!! I have to say they not only live up to their name but also surpass it!! I begged the owner to open a location on the Windward side where we have NO Korean chicken places!!! Fingers crossed because this beats KFC and Buffalo Wild Wings Anyday! read more

Called in two orders of the fried mandoo and they were ready and hot when I got there! The owner is so sweet and nice and he told me that they've only been open for 5 months now since they had to close their original store in the old Shirokiya. Got home and enjoyed the mandoo with my boyfriend and we both loved it! They were sooooooo good and I loved how they have a hefty filling of pork and noodles and fried to perfection! I'm definitely coming back and you should definitely try it out if you're in the area! This local business d deserves so much more love and attention.
