I ordered through DoorDash and everything was really good. I had special instructions in there and they actually read it and adjusted to accommodate my request. Here's what I ordered: Turkey burger- 4/5 pretty good. They were able to get the turkey patty crispy on the edges and had a delicious char to it similar to a regular hamburger. The bun was toasted and didn't get soggy but was light and had a great flavor. Good amount of pickles but hardly any lettuce and the lettuce that was there was not fresh looking at all. I would have liked maybe a tomato slice on it as well. I asked for the chicken sauce in the side and really glad I did and they listened. I tried it on my finger, a little bit on the burger, and on a fry...not for me. It's like a mix of mustardy, smokey, sweet, and also tangy. Fries- 3/5 maybe I just got unlucky today or maybe from having to travel to my house but the coating on them was a little too thick and had too much resistance to them. However seasoning was good. We have been to Good Eatz a number of times. Michelle loves the grilled cheese, and Jeff loves the burgers. Tried the bacon-jalapeno burger today. Really good. I may have to try every burger they make. We especially like the fries. Such a great crisp to them. This really is the best burger place in the Jersey Village area. In addition to the great food, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and as another person pointed out, the place is impeccably clean. The only reason that I'm not giving that fifth star is because they don't have a soda machine or brewed iced tea. Only bottled sodas. read more

The burger was cooked to a perfect medium well and nicely seasoned. The fries were crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Just a really well executed burger and fries. The people were warm and welcoming. Their vibe defintiely made it feel like this is a friends and family business. But this Texan's favorite thing was the banana pudding. Told him no, this was our first time here. He recommended several items and also told us we could make any item a combo. I decided on the brisket grilled cheese with cheese curds and my husband got frito pie burger with French fries. The service was awesome and I can't say enough scout the food! The brisket grill cheese was so good and the cheese curds were the best I've had. Made me feel like I was in Wisconsin! My husband enjoyed the frito pie burger with the toasted perfectly bun. The chili was not overwhelming to take away from be burger and the flavor on point. If you have not been here, you don't know what you're missing! I decided to come here because I was specifically looking to support local veteran-owned businesses and it was also local to where I live. I'm giving it 4 stars because I did enjoy my meal. Food came out hot and fresh. The taste and flavor were good and there, BUT it was a bit greasy for my liking. My burger was wrapped in foil, but the foil and bun came out feeling greasy. I was at this restaurant yesterday, and it was one of the worst experiences I have had. I placed my order at 12:44 pm, and I received a buzzer to let me know when my food would be ready. The buzzer never went off. I kept seeing other people go in, and I was confused about how two other groups were able to get their food before me. Finally, I went inside at 1:10, and my food was sitting on the counter. I asked the girl how long my food had been waiting, and she said it had just finished. Liar. My food was cold, and unfortunately, I couldn't wait, as I was supposed to have lunch with my son, which I also didn't get to do because it had taken so long to get my food. The food itself was so aggressively mid that I am convinced that everyone who has left good reviews is related to these people. For myself, I ordered the brisket grilled cheese. The brisket was so dry it's obvious they use the worst parts of the meat. The cheese was not melted, almost just stuck on as an afterthought. My son had the cheeseburger and fries. The fries you can get from a grocery store freezer. The burger I could have skipped and just ordered from his school cafeteria. If I could give them a zero, I would. Just got done eating my lunch from this place about 5 minutes ago. I work nearby and was in the mood for a burger and ended up here after seeing the reviews. The food did not disappoint. I got a grilled cheese brisket sandwich & added grilled onions (.75 cent add on) & pickles (.60 cent add on) on the side with onion rings. My husband got the mini sliders with fries & added grilled onions as well. They gave us a number and we took our seats. The food came out pretty quickly, and looked amazing! I was ready to grub, until I realized they didn't add the grilled onions to my sandwich, my husband noticed that there was onions in his but didn't know if they were grilled onions because they were so small and only had 2 small pieces in each slider. I let the man at the front counter know and he took care of us & apologized. After we got our onions I proceeded to eat my sandwich and noticed it was a little dry. They forgot to add bbq sauce as well, I didn't want to bother them again, so I just ate it without the sauce and it was good, but I would've preferred if the brisket was a little more moist. Overall the fries, onion rings, & sliders were very flavorful & I was happy with everything besides the forgotten sauce & onions. Absolutely loved eating at Good Eatz. I took my mom, who hasn't been able to fully finish her meat meals in a while. (She asked to go eat hot dogs) She was able to eat both of her hot dogs and steal some of my fries all before i finished my burger. Wayne was our server and cashier. He was super friendly and recommended yummy food for both of us. I really enjoyed the jalapeño bacon burger! You can really tell he was passionate about his work. Usually, in restaurants like this, you put up your own dishes and pick them up from the counter. Maybe since it was 3pm and emptier... Wayne did that all for us! He was always around when we needed something and fun to be around. With the amazing service and delicious food, we ordered to go for our family. Good Eatz is a counter service restaurant with parking in front. I've had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich for $10. If you order a side dish and drink they make it a combo and offer a $.70 discount from the price of those two items and I chose the fried potato wedges. This sandwich is served on Texas Toast with American cheese and brisket on the inside. The potato wedges were big, thick and hot. Taste wise everything was ok and I gave it a 3 score. Another visit was to try their classic burger for $8.50 and that time I went with Zapps potato chips for the combo side.
