We came during the week for lunch and there was only one lady working. Another group came in after us so she took all 12 orders and left for the back to cook them all at the same time. Upon entering, the menu is pretty extensive to say the least. Everything looked pretty good. We got burgers, and a 10pc caujun wing for takeout. The prices were reasonable but slightly on the high side considering this is American casual/ fast food genre. The order took about 15 minutes to get ready. The place was absolutely inviting. I've been seeing this place for awhile and been wanted to try them out. Finally me and my husband went there today. I ordered the burger with double angus beef Pattie's, bacon and grilled onions. I forgot the name of the burger that's why i described it. It was so big i shared it with my husband and his friend we all was full. That's how gigantic the burger was. It was so juicy and satisfying i finally found a place that i can go to when i have the burger craving. I absolutely will not go anywhere else. I have been to other JLB locations and loved those pricey burgers. It is an occasional treat. Recently, I phoned in an order to the Spencer near Fry location (20323 Fm 529 Rd). My bacon cheeseburger was ready by the promised time. My only issue with this location (or pet peeve of mine), was when I entered the restaurant, that the floors were sticky. I decided to give them a Mulligan (Wikipedia definition: A second chance to perform an action, usually after the first chance went wrong through bad luck or a blunder). This location offers comfy booth seating and is roomy enough that you don't feel crowded. We tried the fried Oreos and Bavarian crime churros... yum. I've been to another location (on Mason Rd. in Katy) and can say that the quality of food and service are great at both locations. Although the prices are higher than your normal burger places (although one would say it's comparable to prices in the Heights), the portion is huge. They have a 1 lb burger for around $15. That one burger could feed my entire family. It tastes so much better than your normal fast food burger, and definitely better than In N Out down the street (not really but for Houston, it kinda is).
