I came to this laundromat three years ago while traveling a couple of times. I came again this time it still as clean as can be. I used to own a laundromat and I know how difficult it is to keep machines working and clean, but this one gets 10 stars. !! I did not see any machines with out of order signs on them and the worker that was there was doing fluff and fold for customers and continually wiped and cleaned. The place was spotless. Thanks again. Everybody should try this laundromat and to make it even better. They have a car wash right next-door either do it yourself or drive-through. read more

I was able to get in and out with my laundry, no issues. We'll, aside from leaving a bag of quarters on a chair. But that was my fault.

We were confused at first about their car wash, a lady comes out to ask what's wrong but then tries to hit my boyfriend. She should've hit him if he didn't move. Whole situation seemed off, she was passive aggressive towards us. Weird experience read more

I have two bed quilts that needed to be laundered. A friend recommended Rainshadow Laundry as a very clean and good place to take them. From the handicap parking place by the door and someone opening the building door, I was amazingly impressed. I had never used a laundromat before. The attendant stepped outside the office and asked about what I had, then she took me to a large washer that would clean the two at once. She got my money changed to quarters, asked the temperature I preferred; and started the wash. She said when the cycle was complete she would show me to the dryers. The attendant kept an eye on the dryer and as soon as it stopped, she had another attendant help her carefully fold both quilts. Never had I anticipated such help. The large facility was very full of customers that I decided must be local families. Children were helping parents with laundry, and all patrons were respectful of the facility. For less than $7.00 I drove home with two clean quilts. Five stars are not enough for Rainshadow Laundry. read more

Nice facilty, clean with newer machines. Wash was good but the dryers were not. Four minutes for $0.25 on high, which it never hit, is pricey and after 30 minutes the clothes were still damp. Not a lot of alternatives, though, in Sequim. read more

Shocked by absolute rudeness. What a complete lack of customer service skills. We were traveling through the area and wanted to take a shower after being on the road for a few days without a shower, showed up a couple of minutes past 9 pm. It says last shower is 9 pm (laundromat closes at 10 pm). Begged to take a quick shower and oh wow, never have been treated like this. Rude and really mean attitude. Way to show your power, lady!!! Never coming back to this place again! I used to live in Port Angeles and do laundry at this place for almost two years, spent lots of money here and enjoyed how clean this laundromat is. Best laundromat I've ever been to and I've been to a LOT all over the west. Great prices! Machines actually clean and work! Friendly people. There's lots of space and feels almost like you're in someone's home at the same time. Took a shower with their clean shower they've got. Plenty of room to park my 23 foot sprinter van. Plenty of washers and ryers with varying loads capacity. You can even get your car washed while doing your laundry.

The automatic car wash did a number on my car. The scratches are really deep in the paint and on the window. This won't buff out. read more

A First-Class operation on every level! Wonderfully clean floors, folding tables and machinery, in a brightly lit establishment. Friendly and helpful staff, a wide & plentiful selection of washer sizes and high-capacity gas-fired dryers. A beautiful, spacious and squeaky-clean rest room was the icing on the cake! It was my first visit to a laundromat in over 50 years, and my experience was a real revelation; I may give up owning a washer & dryer, and drive the 15 miles from Port Angeles to Sequim a couple times a month to continue patronizing this remarkable business. By far, the best laundromat, I've ever been too. I am still going to give you 4 stars, the only reason I'm not giving you 5 is because I think it's ridiculous, that you have signs up everywhere. Enforcing customers to wear a mask (something I do regularly anways) but, the lady working does not wear a mask. I dont believe it's right to force a customer to do something you dont require your employees to do. We were traveling and wanted to do a few loads of wash in Sequim. There weren't a lot of choices. The washing machines and dryers at Rainshadow are really big, so the cost per load isn't a problem. I just combined a couple of loads, and got everything washed and dried in a very short time. The location was clean and well-maintained. The other customers were also pleasant. My husband washed the truck while we were there as well. Early morning success! read more

uhm wow, let me preface this by saying that my boyfriend and i are from FL and travel in our camper van with our dog. not only were we able to do LOADS of laundry (which btw, they have HUGE washers and driers for great prices), but we also washed our van at the car wash AND we both showered!! the bathroom was so clean and Charity (the attendant) was so kind and helpful toward us. she was working her tail off the whole time with laundry services and still provided awesome customer service to us. it was $5 for 15 minutes in the shower, and an extra $1 for every extra 5 minutes spent in the shower room. such an awesome deal for a day full of chores. :))))) read more

Traveling through Sequim on three week trip and in need of clean nclothes. This place was great with lots of washers (various capacities) and dryers. Good mix of travelers and locals. Restroom was very clean and they even have a pay shower. Adjacent to a Safeway shopping center to help kill time during the process. read more

After a far from stellar experience in PA, drove over to Sequim to Rainshadow. It's clean, well maintained with many size washer options, it's also Covid thoughtful, everyone social distancing and wearing masks. You can also get your car washed while waiting lol read more

I have rarely used a laundry facility but now we are on the road full time. I chose this place because of the reviews, and was not disappointed. I was overwhelmed seeing all of the large appliances and having no idea what was what. The office had sign saying if no attendant, look around and you'd see them. I spotted a young lady with keys busily working and asked for assistance. She took time, asking questions about my laundry needs and explained the various options available. I was so thankful for her time and patience. They have very affordable products for sale at the counter as well as "higher end" products in vending machine. We'll be back, next time we will use the car wash there, it must be a favorite place also as it was very busy. read more

I've never been to a laundromat before, but I've seen them in movies . ...Idk if movies just make it look bad, or if Sequim makes it look good, but I am very pleased with this place! Lots of machines, lots of room, ATM, change machine, detergent vending machines, on-site attendant with more detergent and snacks for sale, carts, countertops, even little sitting areas including a TV, magazines, and chairs. It was so clean; the attendant never stopped flying around, wiping down counters, vacuuming the floors, and scrubbing chairs. Plus, the machine I chose was HUGE!! I was prepared to do 3 loads but it all fit in one. I was also prepared to be there for hours, but once again, I was happily blown away: 15 minutes in that turbo machine and my clothing was spic-and-span, and 36 minutes in the corresponding dryer was more than enough. The wash cost me $4.25 and the dryer was 25c/4minutes. There were other machines too but I don't know why you'd use them. I was dreading laundry day, but it was painless and I was practically giddy with excitement! Also, I believe they are open 7days/week but I don't remember the hours. Mostly 9am-10:30pm with the request that all loads begin before 9:30pm. read more

Wow, very cool experience for a laundromat! Everything was neat, clean, and orderly just like the other reviewer's have indicated. One thing I will say is that the attendant does not just sit in one spot. She or he can be anywhere on the property so don't hesitate to look around if you need them. They wear a T-shirt that clearly says rainshadow attendant, so they're hard to miss. One note for those of you who haven't used a laundromat for a while (like me) there are many many different sizes of machines and dryers at this location. Some are inexpensive for the smaller top loaders and some are quite expensive, for the large front loaders. I paid over four dollars to wash and nearly 3 to dry because I had a large item. But you don't necessarily need to do this. Ask around if you're unsure, the attendant is super helpful and will gladly direct you to the appropriate sized machine for your needs. read more

So my dryer broke and I needed to find a laundromat. Rainbow Laundry and Car Wash has got to be the Nicest laundromat I have ever been in and I've had my share! Usually, laundromats are nothing to write home about, but for this one I'll make an exception. For starters, clean (the attendant was whipping around with a rug sweeper), the fact that there was an attendant on duty in the first place(!), lots of machines, change machine, soap machine, a small sundries shop, a bathroom, a small comfortable lounge area with a TV, a computer for patrons, lots of comfortable upholstered seating, lots of tables with seating, and the floor was carpeted as well, lots of rolling baskets too. Honestly, this laundromat is more comfortable than my laundry room. I'm so impressed! Terrific business, may they do well! read more

She patiently showed us how to work the machines, kept an eye on our laundry while we attended to shopping, and the facility was spic and span clean. The atmosphere felt safe, friendly, and clean. This laundromat is the BEST. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, lots of different sizes of washing machines and dryers. It is a pleasant place to sit and read magazines or access your WiFi devices while you wait for your clothes or bedding to get cleaned. Also, lots of counter space for folding. There always seems to be a staff person available if you need help. This afternoon I was even offered coffee or tea and a cookie while I was waiting for my clothes to dry. Not an ordinary laundromat - this place goes the extra mile to please the customers. You can even drop off your laundry and pick it up later -- the staff wash and fold it for you (for a small charge) while you continue sightseeing. If you live in an RV and are travelling on the Olympic Peninsula, stop here. read more
