What a gem of a restaurant! As a certified meat-lover, I wasn't sure if I would be satiated by a meal at an entirely vegan restaurant, but holy cow(tofu?) was this a fantastic meal! My group enjoyed the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Whipped "Ricotta", and Buffalo Tempeh/Tofu Nuggets to start, and all of them were absolutely amazing and full of flavor! I think the Whipped Ricotta was my favorite, though I did find I could appreciate the flavors more when the pistachio pesto stayed unmixed. For my entree, I enjoyed the Skyway Melt, a patty melt I'm already planning to go back for because it was THAT good. Even as a non-vegan, I found the Beyond smashburger meat to be absolutely delicious, and it honestly just tasted like delicious meat. I appreciate that the menu is updated frequently, making every experience a little different while still maintaining consistency with the food quality and service. Vegan or not, this is an awesome dinner spot!

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Out little meat eater loved the steak and fries even though it was vegan. I had the mofongo, and it was the best I've had outside Puerto Rico. The chimmichurri is spicy and delicious, and the mofongo wonderfully savory.

This restaurant was fantastic!!!! We ordered the whipped ricotta & brussel sprouts for appetizers - I am not a huge fan of brussels and LOVED them... the tahini dressing or whatever was on it was perfect. Whipped ricotta was so good too with the crostinis! I got the skymelt which is a beyond smash burger with vegan provolone, kimchi mayo, caramelized onions on garlic sourdough. The bread was nostalgic, like a grilled cheese, and all the flavors worked great together. I really enjoyed the potato salad! So funky that it's purple but the flavors were amazing. Our waitress was so attentive, personable and funny. The ambiance of the place was also very cool. Love the lights, plants, pictures by the bathroom.. the bar looks super cool to sit and drink by too. Perfect place to visit while we were in Florida, and immediate 5 stars for all vegan food and doing it WELL

I'm not vegan at all, but wow... Good Intentions was SO good. What I ordered didn't taste "vegan" in that way people worry about it was just straight up delicious. I got the whipped ricotta and the Skyway Melt and both were amazing. If no one told me it was plant based, I honestly wouldn't have known. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and really well done. Service was fabulous too. Our waitress was super nice and friendly, and the overall vibe was great. At dinner the place is pretty dim which made it feel cozy and perfect for a relaxed night out. Would definitely come back vegan or not.

This is the best vegan restaurant I've visited ever! Not only is the menu extremely diverse and you will have plenty of options, the portions were great and the environment was just so fun! We visited on a Tuesday night and walked into trivia. They even had little menus that were on theme with the trivia nights theme! There is still plenty of space if you would like to dine and not join trivia and the menu is worth checking out

New menu has a lot to celebrate! We had their mofungp and a vegan parm Sammy. They were both so delish! The road has been repaved with new good intentions!

We stopped in for a warm drink and tried the tempeh fries. The coffee was wonderful and the food was interesting. Would love to come back to try other options as well. It was cold and rainy outside, and inside was also really cold when we went. The path to the restroom is a must see though! They mistakenly swapped our check and another couples check so we had to get that corrected, but no other issues.

Great vegan restaurant! Sadly they were out of the crab cakes but we got the whipped ricotta appetizer, the tofu parm sandwich, and a buffalo tofu sandwich special. We can't wait to go back!

Good Intentions is a staple in Grand Central and we stopped for a quick bite before heading next door to Spitfire Comedy Club. I had the Beyond Burger Patty Melt with fries and hubby enjoyed the cheesy homemade gnocchi. Their dirty martini with blue cheese olives was delicious! Wonderful service and food! All vegetarian and quite yummy! Stop by and enjoy!

The restaurant decor brings together vintage and upscale dining. The food was UH-mazing. I could have eaten 3 plates of the Brussels sprouts. They were so fabulous. I also loved the tofu. I tasted my friend's bucatini, and could have eaten that too! The desserts were sweet and rich. I can't wait to come to St. Pete again to try more!

We came to see the sunrise at the beach and this was less than 10 minuets away. The restraunt is in a refurbished building with lots of natural light and plants. The service was excellent and the food was good. Its always a coin flip having the kids eat vegan but they both loved their burger. I had the daily special which was sliders fries and drink for $15. My wife got the can nachos and Brussel sprouts I don't usually like Brussel sprouts but these were excellent.

Came for lunch and the food was delish. My not vegan husband truly enjoyed the food as well. The waiter was very friendly and the place was beautifully decorated in what looked like an old hanger building. Would recommend the dining experience & food!

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.

We finally checked out Red Thread and it was delicious!…read more Great ambiance (both indoors and their outdoor courtyard, can't go wrong with either option) that fits the "silk road" vibe, with awesome food and friendly service. We started with the dip trio (beet hummus, olive tapenade, and babaganoush with fluffy pita triangles), which was fantastic. Each dip had an awesome flavor, especially the beet hummus. We also got the tahini, date, and cashew salad and loved it. My husband isn't a salad guy and said he'd only have a bite, but then he ate half. The rich and spicy tahini mixed with the sweet date, creamy cashew, and fresh/crisp salad was such a great flavor combo. I will note, they go heavy with the tahini on the salad, but we weren't complaining. I got the zataar salmon for my main. A deliciously spiced zataar crust on top of a delicately flaky salmon made for a wonderful meal. My husband got the kafta en croute, which were ground lamb/beef meatballs surrounded by a flaky pastry and topped with pomegranate over a tahini sauce. I kept stealing bites (which was fine, there was plenty to share) it was so good and such a unique entrée! For drinks, they have uniquely spiced cocktails and mocktails. The drinks took longer to arrive than the food, but they were worth the wait. We were too stuffed for dessert, but next time we want to try their tiramisu (made with Turkish coffee and cardamom). We had a wonderful meal and will be back! The sad thing was that half the restaurant was empty. We think it's a unique addition to DTSP and is definitely worth checking out.
