Friendly staff, a nice ambiance and craftsmanship drinks! The bartender was helpful and friendly. Taking his time to make our drinks just right. The space is comfy with different seating areas. A great place for happy hour, celebrations or just because!

The energy in this bar was hoppin'! There was a bartender event that night serving free drinks for everyone in the back event room. We did not order food however we will next time.

Stopped in to meet up with some friends for dinner on Saturday night. The dining and bar area were both busy. 3 of my friends and I ordered 5 skewers to split and I love that they gave us 6 skewers. My favorite skewers were the chicken and the shrimp. Service was good and appreciated that she could split the skewers 4 ways. Seems to be a great spot for groups and birthdays. I found street parking nearby.

Haven't been to Copper Shaker in a while but hit it up on a Saturday night for some birthday celebrations. They were able to get our party a table quickly and our server was very friendly and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and the tuna and chicken were yummy. The peanut dip with the chicken may be a bit on the spicy side for some but I think it added a nice kick to the chicken.

Awesome drinks. Almost exactly like my fav drink that I've had before and been searching for again... Honey Hab - spicy, fruity, eggy. Everything I'm looking for. Service was great bc he tasted my drink and adjusted to make sure it was just right. I appreciated that perfectionist behavior and don't mind the wait. Music and decor was what I like

The Copper Shaker is a nicely appointed establishment with cozy, upscale decor in the heart of St Pete. The staff is friendly and took the time to discuss origins of the business and offered drink selections. We rolled into the joint with our "Cowboy" attire for a nearby event and no one batted an eye. We then belly'd up to the barstool and enjoyed Old Fashioned's; one from the "Happy Hour" option and the other from their menu selections. Their happy hour bourbon option was Horse Soldier and not bad. The menu selection bourbon was a "Whistle Pig - Piggyback" and was smoked from a piece of oak barrel. This was the added touch that I had not yet witnessed and was needless to say, pleased. I would enjoy returning, although not likely in my cowboy attire, and having another "Sippy-Sip" from the well. Quite Recommended!

    Making drinky drinks. Embracing synergy.

Copper Shaker is your D'yer Maker for cocktail satisfaction, having drinkie drinks made from mixologists in a butcher's smock like they're going to slaughter their enemies in the back behind the bathroom with the handicapable friendly ramp that leads to it. We went here two nights in a row for after-dinner drinks because we loved their cocktails and spirit selection, which is stacked from spirit shelving that needs to be accessed with a ladder to reach all of them. Their drinks and experience at the bar allowed us to embrace synergy. I have to say that again... Synergy. The 20/20 comprised tanteo jalapeño tequila, Salerno blood orange, carrot, lime, orange, and agave. The Bee Sneeze was made with Ford's gin, lemon, honey, rosemary, and apricot preserves. The Bon Vivant with Russell's Reserve, Cinzano 1757, and Averna bitters certainly gave me joy, while the Honey Hab with honey habanero Michters Rye, lemon, blackberry, and egg whites made me want to gyrate across the dining area while yearning for bacon and mac 'n cheese despite being full from dinner. Additionally, I enjoyed the last of an older bottle of Hedonism blended scotch by Compass Box that had a nice vanilla finish despite the water woodiness of the initial sip. We enjoyed the ambiance and energy as we imbibed our cocktails. We were surrounded by cool speakeasy accessories, such as the copper distilling tank next to barrels in the front corner of the bar at the storefront windows. The main dining area comprised high-top tables and booth seating, with black-painted ceilings that held glitzy chandeliers, dark wooden paneling and floors, and gray walls.

Had a fabulous and fantastic meal!! Thank you to Chrissy our server, you were amazing and so sweet!! If you come here, make sure you get the fondue board!! And the cocktails were yum!

Spicy tuna appetizer! Always enjoy their cocktails, especially the last summer, expresso martinis, or bee sneeze!

Went to Copper Shaker for a night out, and even though it was extremely crowded, we had the best food, the best drinks, and the best time. It can be hard to get waited on when it's that busy, but they made it happen, and everything was worth it. You have to try the tacos, truffle fries, and street corn tostada--some of the best food I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

This review is for the weenies and martinis event 12/10. Drew gave amazing service as always!!! The DJ was bumpin, loved his vibe!

We were in town for business and stopped in here on a rainy Monday night. So glad we did! The food was outstanding, you have to try the fondue...SO much food! It's not a big place, very moody and exactly what I look for in a good bar. A co-worker let is slip out it was her birthday- and the server brought out sparklers and champagne. It made her day so special despite being on a work trip!

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.

We started with the dip trio (beet hummus, olive tapenade, and babaganoush with fluffy pita triangles), which was fantastic. Each dip had an awesome flavor, especially the beet hummus. We also got the tahini, date, and cashew salad and loved it. My husband isn't a salad guy and said he'd only have a bite, but then he ate half. The rich and spicy tahini mixed with the sweet date, creamy cashew, and fresh/crisp salad was such a great flavor combo. I will note, they go heavy with the tahini on the salad, but we weren't complaining. I got the zataar salmon for my main. A deliciously spiced zataar crust on top of a delicately flaky salmon made for a wonderful meal. My husband got the kafta en croute, which were ground lamb/beef meatballs surrounded by a flaky pastry and topped with pomegranate over a tahini sauce. I kept stealing bites (which was fine, there was plenty to share) it was so good and such a unique entrée! For drinks, they have uniquely spiced cocktails and mocktails. The drinks took longer to arrive than the food, but they were worth the wait. We were too stuffed for dessert, but next time we want to try their tiramisu (made with Turkish coffee and cardamom). We had a wonderful meal and will be back! The sad thing was that half the restaurant was empty. We think it's a unique addition to DTSP and is definitely worth checking out.

The bumping A/C provided instant relief as we claimed the stools by the bar. My friends and I quickly agreed, this place is an absolute gem. So gorgeously decorated and the drinks, the mocktails, the pastry items, the food were beautiful and delicious. It really appeared they did everything well here. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of the Tru by Hilton Hotel. Parking wasn't an issue during our visit because it was an early Thursday evening, so street parking on Central was available, but I can imagine it being a little challenging on busier nights. Loved the quirky, kind of all-over-the-place decor here. Vintage fixtures and mismatched furnishings all come together to deliver a warm, charming space that feels like anything-but a hotel restaurant bar. Lots of love for the cocktails here, too. We tried the Golden Hour, the Metal Plane, and the Strawberry Paloma. Golden Hour was my favorite, though the flavor wasn't quite consistent between my first and second ones. Also, they make a VERY good Espresso Martini for anyone who enjoys those. For food, we tried the Beef Empanadas, the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the 1650 Burger. All were tasty, but I think the burger turned out to be the best bang for the buck -- it's a huge portion for only $13 and it's delicious! The chicken sandwich was tasty, but the Gochujang sauce was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. Lots to like about the empanadas, too -- the beef is deliciously seasoned and the outer pastry is light and crusty. Great appetizer or meal, depending on how hungry you happen to be. To top it all off, we had very friendly service from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

It was definitely a good choice, as places closer to the ballpark were really busy and much louder (not conducive to carrying on a conversation). I appreciated all the unique paintings and decor, as they gave off a great upscale pub vibe. To start off, we ordered the jumbo crispy wings (4.5/5), which were of excellent quality although not all of us were fans of the flavor of the dry rub. I ordered the 1650 burger (3.75/5) which was a good, quality burger, however it was a bit on the dry side (not for those who prefer a more grilled or greasy burger) and I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese (the waitress kept saying that menu items couldn't be customized, which I found a bit odd). All the dessert options looked great, so we shared the cinnamon roll bread pudding (4.5/5) and carrot cake (3.75/5). Both were of decent quality, but I'm very picky with regards to carrot cake recipes, and it wasn't in my wheelhouse for what I prefer in a carrot cake. Service (4/5) was generally attentive and friendly throughout the meal. We all agreed that Noble Tavern was a good dinner option in St. Pete, and had a nice atmosphere such that we'd return if in this area again.
