Eddie came out to give us a quote and seemed friendly enough. That was about it. Every other word out of this persons mouth was an excuse as to why work was not being done. He said a part for my pool equipment needed to be serviced and replaced. When I told him that I had a home warranty that covered the equipment instead of letting him service the equipment directly, he became less than helpful. When I had the technician for my home warranty check the part, he said it needed lubricant, but I watched him service the part with my own eyes, and put the part back in one piece. Next thing I know, Eddie is complaining that the part is broken. At which point I told him that it had been serviced, and it was ready for him. He insisted that it was broken, and when I went out to verify, the part that I just saw placed back in the equipment was now broken in half. Please keep in mind that the only people to touch this equipment are the home warranty company, which placed it back in front of my eyes. I also had checked the equipment myself, and it was fine post repair. Then the person from this company comes out and now the part is differently SNAPPED IN HALF. I'm not sure if this was retaliation, or just improper handling, but I know that the home warranty company nor myself left that piece snapped in half. So, let's do the math. After which, I called the home warranty company BACK and they then replaced the NOW BROKEN backwash valve. In the meanwhile, I had paid Eddie to perform two filters cleans, one of which he hadn't completed, so I asked him for my money back for the time being as the service wasn't provided and I needed to make sure the funds were available in case needed for the repair. Then Eddie and his company GHOSTED ME. I have texted and called, left several messages, all trying to be kind and professional, none of which were returned. If you own a company, even if you don't want to provide service to a customer, at least handle your business properly and tell them just that. I don't want to provide service to you. Not hard, right? I mean, let's get mad because I didn't let you rip me off multiple times? I understand I have some issues that needed to be addressed. I have several dogs which I needed to dispose of my dogs waste, which was done when mentioned. We have had a fantastic experience with Eddie thus far. We contacted Eddie (with relatively short notice) regarding a new pool that was constructed in our back yard. He was responsive, and was able to meet our needs for arriving the day of our pool start up. On that day he arrived, he walked us through his process and was very clear regarding his methods and expectations. This was great as it allowed us some structure on our pool start up. During the start up process, he showed up every single day as promised. He was in constant communication regarding the state of the pool and what steps needed to be taken next. Our pool was ready in time for July 4th, and we had a great experience in the pool. Eddie continued to check to ensure things were working properly. On one of the days, I was unsure regarding the use of the in-floor cleaning system, and he guided me through that very well. Horrible experience that could have been avoided. On June 16, 2023 Eddie/Eric came out and did an algae treatment and was going to be servicing our pool, our pool was starting to turn green but wasn't bad, did the treatment and pool started clearing up and algae was sitting at bottom of pool said he would come by next day and clean it up and clean the filters, that didn't happen. Went a whole week without hearing from Eric, I called and texted and finally he responded. He had been under the weather. So since it's just him there was no one else to come service so At this point pool was back to green. When he finally came out there where pool floats in the pool so he just texted me that he wouldn't be servicing until they were removed because that's his policy mind you we are new clients and he didn't mention this in the beginning, took less than five minutes to pull them out yet he wasn't able to service, knowing we are new clients he could have took them out and serviced the pool and gave us a warning, but because he was so behind on all his other pools from being sick he pretty much didn't care or want to bother to make an effort to get ours back to clear. Our pool is much older and has a simple pump and filter system yet it was never an issue. According to Eddie the pump didn't work well and took him too long to pick up bottom debris, but had he taken more time and cleaned out the filters he would have resolved that issue. Pump is working fine and pool is now clearing up. The lack of communication is probably the biggest concern for me, a simple text or call could have helped especially if you know you're under the weather and have clients that depend on you and you're the only employee of your business. I'm sure under different circumstances he's a good pool guy but from my experience I expected more. read more

Good Life Pool Service is awesome!!!! We thank God we found Eddie to take care of our pool needs. We are very selective when it comes to hiring people to take care of our home needs. We had interviewed several prospective people who do this type of work before we found Eddie, but none of them met our expectations. Eddie not only does an outstanding job in keeping our pool very clean and germ free, but he also keeps an eye on anything that appears that could become a problem later on. He has taken the initiative to repair or replace certain things that relate to the pool (like a leaky hose and things like that) even though that is not part of his job. From the time I reached out Eddie was very helpful and courteous was actually over the next day to check out our pump that was acting up and running all different times in the day/night. Got it running and our pool has been great. I called a few other pool services and since we didn't have an account with them they didn't want to give us the time of day.
