I had Crown Pools servicing my pool over year ago. They started out OK, but service quickly declined. We re did our pool tile and replaced the plaster with pebble. The technician chipped our new tile and when I provided Mario with video footage, he blatantly denied it. The worst part was, i had replacement tiles for him and he refused to make it right. Great guys! I have a small water feature in my backyard and it has some very strange equipment. I bought the parts but I was sure I would need some new plumbing work done to replace the broken part. Mario came out and took a look at it, as well as the parts I had ordered and reassured me that it was something that would be really easy to replace on my own. He said that they technically could replumb the whole setup but the part I needed to fix could be swapped with a couple screws and I had not thought of that. He even took the time to walk me through the process. Looking forward to getting my system up and running on my own but if I can't figure it out, I will definitely be calling Mario back and having him take care of it. We gave them simple instructions to clean our property's pool and when they wouldn't complete the job we would have to call them and get them to do the job we are paying them for. That's not how a business should work. They would agree to going to our house at 4:30 because that's when we are home and he would go early just so they could leave and say we were not their so they couldn't get in. That is completely unprofessional. Mario the owner was the rudest of them all. He would get upset at us for him not finishing the job. He would just blow up and quit out of no where. If I could leave 0 stars I would. These people are Jerks. I only spent 2 months service with them. In the beginning the manager stated he would start my services on Mondays. Then when he didn't show up he says that he stated he would start them on Wednesdays. He's all over the place. Then my pool started to get a little bit green with his service. So he stated that I needed to buy extra chemicals myself apart from paying them because I had too many people in my pool which is false because I hadn't been swimming in 3 weeks. Then they stated that there was a crack in my manifold inside the filter and that is why the pool wasn't being clean properly. I said OK would contact my insurance to see if they would cover it. Before I pay him what he quoted me to repair it. Long story short the insurance has a process of doing things and they did not cover it. A couple of weeks went by but I purchased extra chemicals myself to try and prevent it as much as I could for it not to turn green. All I ever did was ask them to do their best knowing my situation in the meantime while I waited for an answer. When I finally told the manager that they did not cover it he stated that he would no longer be able to help me in repairing it. I said it was fine but to please send me the pictures of when they supposably found the crack. I would outcasts the new part myself. The manager ignored my text messages and come the following Wednesday nobody shows up. So I texted him and he stated that he was no longer going to provide service. Our text messages got heated yes because I was an upset customer however he stated that he would expose my text messages. And the "urgency I had on my repair". Why because I wanted to use my insurance and they were upset that I didn't pay them first. I paid both my payments on time and bought more chemicals for them to do there job. They are unprofessional. Bad communication from the beginning and I'm sure u would be upset too. The manager had the nerve to tell me "whatever helps you sleep at night" because I stated I would expose them on every platform I could review on. So professional of them when they ignore ur texts. In America the customer is always right no matter if they are upset. You as the buisness have the responsibility to communicate clearly , in a timely matter and always professionally. I'm not afraid of any exposure to my texts . Crown pools management is disgusting. Thank you however to the tech that would come to my house. ur disgusting. Wanting to expose a bounce back check. For ur information I pay u directly through my bank. And I took care of it as soon as it did not go through. Trust me I have plenty of funds to pay u . I am disappointed with Crown Pools, Inc. We got their services last month and our initial impression of Mario the owner was great. He was helpful in fixing our pool light and getting us a new pool sweeper. I was impressed at how quick he responded and got our pool cleaned. First week they cleaned it on a Friday to accommodate our weekend plans. (Everything was great!) Then the second week was Thursday and the third week they attempted Tuesday. (We hadn't had a set schedule so we weren't able to get it serviced as we weren't home and didn't know they'd show Tuesday). The following week our pool started turning yellow/greenish. I tried getting clarification what day to expect service to ensure we would be home. I texted Mario several times, called left voicemails and have NOT received a reply til this day. Our pool was serviced on 6/1 and started turning yellow /green again as of 6/3. I truly was looking for a pool service to keep my pool nice and clean and have good communication. I am sad to share I have not experienced that here. All I ask is for a call back and to clean my pool. I haven't received info on how to pay the first month. I am waiting for an invoice. read more
