I have a digital lock on my door and never had any issues until this morning. I went to walk my dog and did not take my keys because well I have a digital lock. Upon return, I put in my code, and the door would not unlock. After multiple attempts, I opened Yelp to look for locksmiths. I put in a request for my situation and Yelp contacted 4 companies that looked like they could provide service. Three of the four responded. I went with Good Lock and Key because they had the best value and could get to my home in 30 minutes. Mike showed up at my home within 20 minutes and immediately began to work on the digital lock. The service was fast and easy! No issues what so ever. Theres plenty of seating inside while you wait. Street parking was right at the front of the store. Not so crowded with parking there. I didn't notice private parking. Correct me please if I'm wrong about it. So the reason for the service I needed... I had a complicated key that I needed copies to. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that not alot of lock smith's carry the type of key I had. I've only been to Good Lock & Key to have keys duplicated (several times), but now I will only use Good Lock & Key when I need keys copied. At least 3 times, Good Lock & Key copied keys successfully that I'd copied before elsewhere--with unsatisfactory results. Those 3 times Good Lock & Key made a key that worked just right, in contrast to one "bad" copy that could only unlock but could not lock a door that needed to be locked with the key; one copy that could open one lock but not another lock though the locks shared the same key; and a mail box key that did not work at all. read more

Got a new (for me) used car which only came with one key so decided to get a duplicate key fob. The dealer was charging between $400-500 and most had to order the key or had weird schedules. I looked into Key Me Locksmiths which was about $350 and said would take 1/2 hour. Dawned on me to look at Yelp and this place had really good reviews so decided to give them a try. While they had to order the key as well which they informed me would take 3-4 business days (I think it ended up being 4), they were able to program it in about 20 min and are nearby.
