Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

Longer means 10-15 min to place an order with no one in line and over half an hour to get your food. Not the staffs' fault - they're obviously understaffed. Kudos to them for keeping calm and still providing the best service they can. Ambiance - pretty disappointing. Everyone wants their food during their lunch break - not by dinner time. TIP: Place an order waaaaaaaaaay ahead of time instead of ordering in person. That may help with the long wait time. They seem to prioritize the online vs. in-person order.
