Very slow service with only two people manning the store. It's a long wait to place an order and an even longer wait to get your food. Longer means 10-15 min to place an order with no one in line and over half an hour to get your food. Not the staffs' fault - they're obviously understaffed. Kudos to them for keeping calm and still providing the best service they can. Ambiance - pretty disappointing. Everyone wants their food during their lunch break - not by dinner time. TIP: Place an order waaaaaaaaaay ahead of time instead of ordering in person. That may help with the long wait time. They seem to prioritize the online vs. in-person order. read more

Its been many years since I've been to an ACTUAL Capriottis. They had that stint where they were located inside ghost kitchens around DFW. Prior to that about a decade ago they had 2 locations conveniently located near me in downtown Dallas. Now I found my way over in the area and I had to stop by. I wanted to get the Capastrami after having the ABC at Deli News in Richardson TX recently. Very similar sandwiches but still miles apart both in physical locations and figuratively speaking. Price point for what you get at Capriottis is exceptional. Very delicious. I look forward to going back for the Wagyu French Dip. Wish there were closer locations to me but when I'm craving Capriottis I'll make the drive here. It's worth it. read more

"Thanksgiving Sandwich? Yes. But That Website? Yikes." Who knew this chain even existed? (Not me!) Apparently, there are 170 locations across the U.S. I stumbled upon this gem after Googling where I could get my hands on a gobbler sandwich in the DFW area, and voilà, it popped right up. Off we went, stomachs rumbling in anticipation. Now, this place isn't as highly rated as I might have hoped, but I was willing to throw caution to the wind in the name of Thanksgiving-in-a-sandwich. Enter: the Bobbie. But first... the ordering process. GRRR. There was this sweet online deal I found, so naturally, I went through the whole rigmarole of inputting my credit card and preparing for sandwich glory. But no confirmation ever came. Suspicious. And alas, it never went through. We ended up paying more in-store--online deal? Not honored. I ordered the heated Bobbie (aka the gobbler sandwich) and my husband went for the heated Italian. Now, quick PSA: heated means only the inside of the sandwich is warm, not the bread. Unexpected but not the end of the world. My sandwich was actually pretty darn tasty, especially after I asked for some of their delish pepper relish on the side. Meanwhile, the guys sitting next to us ordered cheesesteaks and were raving about them, so now I'm officially jealous and have cheesesteak FOMO. Guess I'll have to go back. It's a shame the website situation was a disaster though. The lesson? Maybe just call ahead next time. Or, you know, roll the dice again online and see if it works out. Overall I have to give this place a mid passing. I honestly didn't even know we had one of these in the metroplex. I've visited locations in other states before and I was craving a Thanksgiving type sandwich after Firehouse announced theres (but not available til Oct 15th). I had an appointment in Dallas so I drove out of my way to come here to get my hot Bobbie fix. Thankfully I wasn't in a rush, because Wow what an experience. Sandwich was near perfection. Warmed bread would have made it a 10! Service overall started off really strong. Greeted right away. Order taken quickly and accurately. Smiles from both workers (Sharon and a taller black man cooking). I could tell they were working hard!! Harder than they had too I believe. First I'm thankful I wasn't in a rush. Took 17 mins to get my sandwich. People coming in for pickups. Phone consistently ringing for phone orders. People coming in on their lunch break to eat in. The workers were clearly overwhelmed. I would never come here on my lunch break if I was in hurry. They clearly had too much to do with only two people working during the lunch rush (1230pm). They kept telling people their food would be ready in a second, when clearly it was going to be 10 mins or more. The female worker was taking orders at the register and on the phone. She was making cold sandwiches too. Several times her and the man making the hot sandwiches grabbed the phone to answer it with their gloves on and did not change them after they got off the phone. A little gross tbh, as food safety should be priority. I really had nothing better to do than watch the show while I waited for my sandwich. Again I know they were trying hard but clearly they had too much to do and the manager really needs to staff more appropriately during the lunch rush. As time went on the attitudes started changing and you could hear the frustration from both their voices. One quipped to a person on the phone, "anything else sir, we're really busy!" The man cooking raised his voice for a moment at the female "to get out of my way!" Not necessarily yelling cause she was trying to help but in a very frustrated way. They also were out of FFs and other ingredients. While someone ordered FFs the gentleman quipped "no no no we don't have enough." How don you run out at 1230pm? And why are you focused on the conversation and butting in when you should be making the food? The man interrupted the female several times when she was taking orders to correct the customers when they asked for things they were out of or for "jalapeños." It was just a weird experience and having driven 30 mins out of the way to stop here I guess I expected the same experience I had at other Capriotti's in other states. I highly doubt I will return to this location as they clearly need help staffing and serving their guests in a timely manner. It's a shame too as like I said, the sandwich was stellar. read more

Addendum: was just on my bank and there is no refund so ....... Been here many times before today and sandwiches were always really good. Today, however, I ordered online 2 sandwiches. We go to pick it up and they are still making them. The guy behind the counter staples the bag with the receipt showing 2 sandwiches. We drive all the way home and open the bag. One cheesesteak was all they put in the bag. I immediately called them and reported that MY sandwich was missing. The person on the phone states "well, I guess I can refund you...." Seriously!!!!! That is your response to only placing half my order in the bag at 10:45 am. I am sorry, but you know you never made a tuna so why not just admit it. Otherwise it would be sitting on your counter top. I'm sorry but this is the absolute worst customer service. No apology. No offer to rectify the situation. Here I sit with no lunch, but Im sure you dont care. read more

I got the American wagyua slaw medium, chips and a drink and it was almost 25 bucks. The sandwich was plain, no flavor and half of it was just coleslaw. Just no flavor or anything. My entire review is about the staff of this location and how I've been serviced, do with my information as you will. I saw someone say disregard previous bad reviews because the shop is new. NOPE. Still bad. What's worse is the food is decent, but the entire staff is terrible. Every time I go I happen to be the first in person, wait 15 minutes for an order, and there will be others eating before I even see a glimpse of my food. I went today. I live across the street. The staff is clueless. Not sanitary and 4 boys with long hair just freeballing the grill. YUM. The kid repeated my order back twice and I explicitly said on the sandwich NO VEG. I even explicitly stated what should only be on the sandwich. Now my boyfriend can't eat his meal and I'm down not only time but money. I'm coming back in tomorrow and I will get my resolution. I am sick and tired of restaurants having me be responsible for your f up. You waste my money, you inconvenience me, then you will listen to me and pay me back. So help me god this bad review stays a bad review. The restaurant has potential but the entire high school staff is a joke. I have worked with teenagers and these kids could care less. Looking to support local businesses the wife and I tried out the new sandwich shop in town, Capriotti's. When we arrived we were greeted by the crew and placed our order. We decided to split the Italian sub and an order of fries. First the sandwich, the bread was excellent and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The only issue was that for some reason the team put a LOT of salt on the sandwich. This was a new one on me since the Italian meats can be a bit salt heavy anyway. Simple solution on this one though, I would advise the team to hold the salt if you order. The fries were excellent! Hot and fresh and very tasty. I really liked the flat shape and I can see how they would be excellent for loaded fries. Overall I feel it was a positive experience. Now that I know what to be prepared for I can get the sub just how I want it and the fries are worth a second trip. read more

The name fooled me. When I walked in and saw the menu, I realized this was not the Italian deli I expected. I ordered a capastrami. It was brought to me on cold bread, though it was a hot sandwich. The meat was too thick and the bread wasn't as good a Subway bread. I returned it and they warmed it up slightly, still not toasted. I ate the meat and warmed cheese with the lettuce and tomato on the side. Even an employee having lunch shook his head and said the bread should've been toasted..... Jersey Mike's is a far better choice! This was a complete waste of money. read more

I typically eat at the Frisco location and I absolutely love it, but since I was in the area I stopped by this location for the first time. After ordering my sandwich, the employee messed up my order so I asked for them to remake it the way I had originally requested. The manager said they cannot remake it because the restaurant will then be out money. I then asked for a refund since I can't eat this due to allergies. The manager answered with I clearly didn't understand him the first time. They won't refund or remake a sandwich because the restaurant will not be out any money for this mishap. It wasn't even my fault but I, as the customer, was out $28 for a large sandwich that was inedible. How does that make sense as an establishment to tell your customer that? The customer service is beyond repair. The saddest part is, I even had an employee apologize on behalf of his manager because that wasn't the customer service he thought I should have received. I walked in to a tiny sandwich shop, with a guy a the counter (just counter, other questions were beyond his capability). Never being asked if we wanted our sub toasted as we made it clear we were new here... they seemed to have no idea what they were doing!! I stumbled upon this place today as I ran an errand on my lunch break. I decided to stop in and try the Classic Italian sub. I'm a huge fan of another sandwich shop nearby and thought I'd see how this measured up. I can't say I'll be back for it. This sandwich pales in comparison to my usual go to which is a delicious Classic Italian loaded with fresh ingredients and lots of oil and vinegar. This one is super dry and there is too much bread. I was driving in Flower Mound the other day and noticed a new Capriottis,got excited and pulled in. I used to eat at the location across from the Hard Rock hotel in Vegas a few years back. First thing I noticed was there was only one person in there,then the prices seemed high. But I ordered and figured it would be worth it. Got an Italian to go,Medium. $12.99 before tax and tip....bag seemed light,when I got home I was really disappointed. I spent $16 with the tip and honestly Subway(yes...) blows it away. as you can see from my photo,the pickle was thicker than the meat,and the lettuce was the kind you get out of a bag,like cheap iceberg. This place still seemed to be working out the kinks during my recent visit. Several people complained the orders that were placed online were missing items so I'd recommend ordering in person. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and was a bit underwhelmed. The meat was a little chewy and there wasn't as much flavor as I've had elsewhere. My husband had the impossible Philly and seemed to enjoy it fine. It took 15-20 mins to get our 2 sandwiches which isn't the worst just not necessarily a quick in and out. Additionally the place isn't huge so finding a seat to eat might be a challenge. Overall not bad if you want to try a new spot for something different, but I probably won't be back. read more
