Personally, I can see how neurofeedback really helped me with different aspects of my life. Firstly, I feel like my brain is more receptive and faster in making logical connections, and reasoning. Also my memory improved which helped with my Masters studies. My brain feels more engaged and active, it's hard to explain, but almost like the opposite of feeling groggy. I also started to be capable of recognizing my emotions and what was right or wrong for myself. Neurofeedback is different from therapy, where you are guided from the therapist to draw conclusions about your behavior. Here your brain itself that allows you to perceive how you really feel and explore your emotions. I trusted the process and slowly I saw results. I decided to change my life because of the knowledge that I have gained. I wasn't happy with my situation, and I was able to see things clearly thanks to the effect that neurofeedback had on my brain. Susan was very professional, and she made me feel always comfortable and explained me every step of the process. Even if you were lucky to get an appt., the chances of seeing someone that wasn't a doctor was slim. Luckily, Prairie Pediatrics is nearby and seems to have better availability. The best part is that you always see Dr. Auster. She is kind, compassionate, and truly loves what she does. I am going through my treatments under the care of Dr. Henry Z, DC. He's a Chiropractor. Interesting enough I was doing a treatment here and Dr. Z said he was busy and had 6 other patients? Revive is empty. During my IV treatment I asked the individual in regards to other patients and he said there were only 2-3 others here he's cared for so far. On Day 2, I didn't agree with my nutritionist Martha here when I had a conversation with her when we talked about nutrition. I paid $150 consultation. I am a healthy, athletic stunt performer in Motion Pictures and Television and since I know diets - I've gone through all of them - and my body my sleep deprivation is not due to what I am or not eating. I opened up and made changes. I also read the book she shared with me called How to Feed a Brain which is a high fats/low carb (ketogenic) diet. My naturopath shared this diet with me and I've been on/off for years now since I learned about this diet in 2015. While getting a NAD+ IV towards the end of my Day 2 here I was rushed to sign paperwork from Michelle. One pertaining to estimates of how much my treatments will cost for the weeks. This is poor patient/customer service. I felt rushed and was really stressed due to that issue. She could have waited until my IV was completed. We shall see if they are able to help me but as of now... I am not a big fan. Also Dr. Dan Engle isn't apart of Revive any longer. I reached out to him in regards to my sleep. He's never heard of someone like me having this issue. To note: I haven't talked to a real MD in Neurology here. I thought I'd be in a room full of neurologists. Sounds like the Director doesn't come in much. I've read reviews prior to coming here. But I am suspect of the reviews on Yelp and Google.
