Then we got the big dallas storm. Take David something like 4 months to repair the manifold for the hot tub. So I was not able to use it for 4/5 months. But I totally understand. It was short on any supplies all over. So I can't blame him. How ever ever sense then. The service was not good. I don't know if it's something to do with where we located in Richardson. Or maybe my pool was a big and he didn't overcharge. I have no idea. But service was not good. The guy he send will come few min. Clean a bit. And run away. The pool was always dirty. And yellow on the ground. So many times I find my self going in to brash and clean. So many times. Every time I have an issue. I will let the service guy know. But he would never transfer that forward. Then I will have to text David and that take another week or two before maybe it's get taking care off. His guy will never basically check to make sure everything work. Or any leak. Will come. A bit Cleaniny. Some chemicals and run away. The pool lights never work. He never cared. The pool have a leak for months before I notice my water bill is high. The pool system was beeping for months before finally David was able to come take care of it. For months I will seat and watch a movie and the system will keep beeping. Not good service. For 4 months or so I inform David. That one of those things on the ground are cloth I have asked is your guy suppose to clean it ? His answer was yes. I was watching it. 3/4 months after. He still didn't clean it. I have pic to approve. I have sold the house lately. So I am glad I don't have to deal with it. But soon will build a new pool in my new house. I doubt it I will use north Texas pool again. I don't mind to pay a bit more but enjoy my pool. I did transfer the new owner david number if he want to use him. But just to be nice. I have a mix feeling about the service.

I have some issues with my pool and they are working with me to get it fixed (they have been out 3 times and have not charged me for those times!!) My last pool people charged me $175.00 for every trip even though I had been a customer for over 3 years. The price of My monthly service went down significantly and I couldn't be happier. I only wished I would have switched a lot sooner.

Fixing this was beyond my skill-set, so in searching for a technician, I found Jason (Pool Medic), his reviews stood out to me more than all the others so I had him out to diagnose the issues. Jason confirmed the issues, and quoted me a very reasonable price to replace all of the suction side PVC/Valves. He also replaced the Pump seals. Jason got the job done very quickly, and my Pool is now working even better than it was before. Bottom Line: If you want an extremely competent, knowledgeable, effective and honest pool repair Tech who charges reasonable prices- call this man first.

And today, Miles from Integrity Pools came by for my "Pool School" session. I just had the new filter installed. I am going to try to manage all facets of pool ownership without paying anyone to help me maintain it. He was SUPERB. He was conscientious and professional about the scheduling and arrival time. He handled my ENDLESS questions like a champ. He helped me know when to toggle between my note taking and just recording a video when notes would have been too complicated. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know and the additional things I wanted to know. He was patient and good natured. I actually know what I'm doing now. Pool Troopers instead has been coming bi-weekly, hasn't fixed the outstanding item yet, and the pool has turned green twice. I just called customer support (July 15) and was told that Tim, the rep who signed us up, actually placed us on bi-weekly service when I had been very clear with him that we were wanting weekly full service. Giving two stars (rather than one) because they did install the salt water chlorinator as promised and have at least come bi-weekly - even if the pool is green and unswimmable now because of them! The customer service rep promised that Tim would be calling me back to fix the issue. I hope so but as of now I would not recommend Pool Troopers. I will update this review as my experience with this company progresses. Update: 7/16/19 After my review, Patrick at Pool Troopers reached out about taking care of the issues. Tim came out same day to add chemicals to take care of the green water issue and my service has been placed on weekly as initially requested. While we had a lackluster first month, I'm happy that the Pool Troopers team jumped into action when I voiced my concerns. I've raised my rating from 2 to 4 stars and will update as I learn more.

At least 3-4 of them have said the same basic thing--"I'm here because our last guy didn't know what he was doing and messed everything up." The tech who left my backwash running and drove off was not the same tech who shut my valves off without explanation, and neither of them was the tech who covered the side of my house in DE while cleaning the filter, or the tech who installed the salt system and left pieces of PVC and other trash scattered in my yard. Final straw was waiting until my salt system was at end of life to "gift" it to me so that when it inevitably fails, replacing it will be at my cost not yours. I called today to cancel my service. -------------------------------------------- Do not recommend. Every couple of months I get a new tech who tells me he is here to fix things because the prior tech was an idiot. They have driven off with my backwash running, which I didn't discover until the pool lost 4 inches of water. They have turned my valves completely off and then left without saying a word. They have left trash in my yard. And finally, the salt water system which they said was included in my monthly price--once it got older they very graciously "gifted" it to me, and now that it belongs to me, just a few months later they say it needs to be replaced for $1200.

We hired GP&A after speaking with several pool companies and chose them specifically based on their…read morereviews praising quick response times and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.

I was so happy I found this company and especially David that I had automation for pool (phone app mgmt) added and he had that in no time. I can't tell you how great it feels to have a knowledgeable person with great manners and excellent communications skills to work with. the cost of getting this done is priceless for me but their pricing was most cost effective than others. the key for me is the skill, knowledge and communication they have shown. I am indebted to my friend who got me connected with A and C pools.
