As a retired civil engineer with 35 years of federal service, I have performed construction management and other contractor related duties throughout my career, so I'm not new in this arena. In that regard, Danny, the owner of Advantage Asphalt, exceeded all my expectations from the very beginning and beat out several other asphalt contractors costs by over 25%. His attention to my customer needs was truly appreciated and was further highlighted by the professionalism and expertise of his company employees while performing the work. He came out for a site visit the day I reached out to him, created a comprehensive costs estimate, submitted it online the next day, answered all my questions and appeared very knowledgeable about what was needed to do the job. At my request, he came out for a second site visit a few days later to review the work with me so I was sure he had captured everything, especially since all other estimates were several thousand dollars more. During that meeting, I agreed to perform the work and he set a date of Wednesday October 16th. While observing the work, I paid attention to how well his crew coordinated their efforts and was extremely impressed at how professional they were and how quickly that got my entire driveway resurfaced, widened the parking pad, and installed a drain, without any problems or additional costs. Danny himself was on equipment for most of the day as well to ensure the finished work met my needs. Who does that? Two of my neighbors saw the finished work and have asked Danny to do driveway repair work for them as well. Apparently a landscaping service can't clean up large clods of dirt which I could pick up by hand and rake through. To be fair. Pros: Responsive and quick to come out to give a quote and set a day for the work to be done. Clear communication when work had to be split up into two separate times because his crew contracted Covid and they did not have the manpower. Cons: Left a mess on the lawn after removing sod. I accept that some soil would be left after removing sod but this was an unacceptable amount. Instead of cutting the sod and rolling it (they did this for the first piece) they resorted to just throwing it around. Had to spent another 3 hours the next day shovelling clods of sod and dirt to clean up the mess ( filled up an entire wheelbarrow full of dirt and rocks) Mulched the beds as agreed on but left mulch on lawn as well as out of flower bed. First 3 pictures show the quality of work Beck's left and the 4th picture shows how it looked after I cleaned up with minimal tools (aka my hands, shovel and rake).

She has post things about us on Fb and other social media platforms. She sends emails that we would love to post to show her unprofessionalism. This woman is scary if the insurance company is handling your funds. She then advised that she would be cancelling our warranty that we paid for. The Mortgage Company sent the check today sent straight to her company. She is desperate for money and will humiliate you if you are working with insurance company and they don't move in a timely matter. I am afraid for anyone that works with this woman and her company. Furthermore, they punched a hole in my home during construction and refused to fix the inside of the property. The outside was damaged, and we sent proof of that. I'm unsure if this made her mad that she damaged our home and refused to fix it. She added 750.00 to the balance so we would end up paying the extra. Please consider another company.
