This business was ridiculous for making me wear a mask when NOBODY else wore one. The guy (manager) told me I made his customer uncomfortable for not wearing a mask. His customer was NOT wearing a mask, his inspector was NOT wearing a mask. I let him know I was fully vaccinated but they told me to stay outside of the building to wait for the inspection to be completed or go somewhere else. WHAT? Or was it because I'm Asian I must be infected? I have a video proof of everything. Even the lone customer (who did not have to wear a mask) told me he did "not understand either". Went there for car inspection after I just moved to Texas from another state. The inspection itself was good since they completed the task earlier than promised. But I didn't like them asking me to do extra work on the vehicle that was not related to inspection. Definitely go to Body Pros. Went to 6 different body shops last Friday to get quotes for damage (huge dent, deep scratches, paint removed). Body Pros won out over the others not just price but professionalism/trustworthiness. (Johann's was super creepy. And Service King/Crash Champions wouldn't give us an estimate since we were paying out of pocket). Body Pros said that it might take 1.5 to 2 weeks to complete. We just picked up the truck on Thursday (only 4 days!). They beat their own time estimate. And the most important part is that you can't see or even feel where the damage was. DO NOT COME HERE! As a new resident in this area I took my car here for an inspection. I'm always nervous as a woman to go to auto repair shops because a lot of them try to take advantage of you. Unfortunately this place did just that. I've owned my car for 7 years and I've never had someone fail me for my tent percentage especially considering the Texas heat and an all black interior. I purchased the car with the tent that is currently on the vehicle. Not only was I charged and failed but also paid to fix a parking lamp bulb that is not required for you to pass inspection. The customer service was subpar as well. I wouldn't recommend bringing your car here unless you want to be screwed out of your money. read more

I originally went in to Body Pros with a "new" used car that I had purchased. There was undisclosed damage that Gary quickly found with a trained eye, then gave me 2 different options to fix it. Very professional and thorough. The good news was that I was able to return the damaged goods and got a different car. Bring the story one month ahead and lo and behold I I got into an accident with my replacement car (it wasn't my fault, for the record), so I knew exactly where I was going to take it..that's right Jimmy's Auto Body..no! That name is made up for comedic effect. Body Pros, of course! This time, it was just as the first. I dropped off my car with Gary and he took it from there. He was able to get to my car quickly and determined there was more damage than what Progressive found. He dealt directly with them ( they were great to work with too, btw, but that is for a different review) and had my vehicle fixed, in my humble opinion, better than it was before the accident. Garo is fantastic! I had a slight fender-bender on my Audi Q5, and not only was his the cheapest quote I received (by hundreds of dollars), but he also completed the repairs that same week! Literally I told him to move forward, he ordered the part on a Thursday, it came in on that Monday and my car was repaired on Tuesday. Amazing! I used the Body Pros Collision side to have the rear bumper on my 2015 Acura MDX painted. Gary was very easy to work with and kept in touch-- he was responsive to phone calls and emails. What made me choose this body shop initially was because he was very professional and "official" when quoting me. Gary entered my car information and offered to print out my quote (free fyi). It was actually close to what my car insurance had estimated. A few days later when I called back for more information, I left a voicemail and was surprised to receive a call back within a couple of hours. He was able to pull up my quote even though I had never even filled out any information. Most body shops will just eyeball your car and give you a number. Gary even saved me $94 by letting me decide if I wanted to replace the black bottom bumper since the scratches weren't very noticeable (I ended up paying only $156 since my deductible was $250). You MIGHT be able to find a cheaper body shop if you're paying out of pocket, but if you're just paying a deductible, Body Pros is very reliable. The payment from my insurance company went through on a Monday, and my car was ready to be picked up on Wednesday, but since I wanted it to be washed, I waited til Thursday. I went here because they do propane bottle refills. It was pouring down rain. I asked the gentleman at the desk if he would refill my propane tank in this weather. He didn't give me a bad look or depressed response. He was all smiles and said, "Yes sir. Where's the empty bottle?" He went out in the rain and filled my bottle. He was smiles the whole time. Good One has done a lot of work on my vehicles. Bobby (the mechanic) may look homeless, But he knows his stuff. They're very fair about pricing and don't try to sell you what you don't need. I was having a lot of trouble with my AC and they helped me come up with cheaper alternatives to keep it working... And in Texas, that makes you a savior! read more

Engine light was on, I went to the car shop, I was told it's the oxygen sensor issue, they said they had to replace one sensor. After it was replaced, the engine light was off for 5 minutes, then it was on again. Drove back to the car shop the following week, I was told that i have to replace another oxygen sensor, for a total over $500.00. I asked to speak to the owner, the front desk serviceman said he's the owner, they would fix it for sure. After driving another 5 minutes, the engine light was on again, it's the same reading. They said they cleaned something, it was good to go. The engine light was not on afterward. A week later, I drove the car to another mechanic for a state inspection, it did not past, they said oxygen senor and catalyst reading was not ready, that's why engine light was not on, the car did not pass inspection. So I went back to Good One, they denied everything, they said I should have driven the car back to them for inspection, they would take care of it. Tried to ask to speak to owner again, I was again denied, and they closed the door and threatened me, and asked me to go away. It's very unfortunate. Update: the owner Nik contacted me and agreed to look into the issues, he patiently explained to me the issue and resolve the issue. My car passed inspection, everything's good.
