Dark and dreary interior but don't let that scare you away!! The food here is excellent! Exactly what you would hope for in a diner! The service is brisk-and can feel rushed! But all part of the diner experience here! Come in with a sense of adventure and you will be fine!

Dated I stopped in this morning for breakfast. It was not very busy, but then again it is not the season. There were several customers including a couple of large groups that arrived after me and the place was filling up. My first impression was the place was dated, it had a dark look from the ceiling all the way down to the floor. Being dated is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when it comes to dated pricing. I thought the food was quite reasonably priced. The menu seemed cluttered, so I took a little extra time before deciding on what to eat. During this period, and for a few more minutes, I was still waiting for someone to stop over to learn I wanted some coffee. A slow start, but we finally got started, and after that things went normally. I decided on their Crunchy French Toast Combo. The food actually came out quickly. The crunchiness came from oatmeal, which covered the entire surface of the bread. While it didn't add any flavor, it did provide some texture. The dish came with a couple of eggs cooked correctly, and a meat, my choice was bacon. I thought the food was ok. I got the sense many of the customers, maybe all except me, were regulars.

Staff friendly and professional. Food quality was better than most high end restaurants. Flavor was exceptional. Seasoned perfectly.

Tried this place for breakfast. I enjoyed the crunchy French toast. If you like classic American breakfast, this place is for you.

I usually have the fish, but today I had the Osso Buco and it was darn near perfect. I've had this dish most places I've been but this dishes flavor and texture were second to none. The colagen had turned to a quite lovely texture that was mouthwatering and tasty. Chewing was almost irrelevant And the flavor was as familiar as your cat's indifference (if you're not familiar, it's almost as good as your dog's unconditional love). This dish is as good as it gets and very simply the best bang for the buck in Florida.

Our entrees came with soup-both were delicious. We tried the baked potato and chicken soup and really liked them both! I had the mushroom Swiss burger as my entree. It arrived looking delicious and it tasted even better! The combination of Swiss cheese, mushrooms and the burger was balanced perfectly! I will be delighted to have this again! My mom had the meatloaf platter, and enjoyed every bite! She had enough to take home leftovers for another day! We loved the food!! It's exactly what you hope for at a neighborhood diner! We will be coming here again soon!!

My wife chose the chicken salad wrap with the homemade chips. She loved it. Chips were not salted. I ordered the Ken & barb burger medium , with potato salad. It was ok juicy, greasy, flavorless same with the potato salad. We will try it again for dinner but not impressed. $47 with tip 2 sodas no dessert.

As vegetarians there were ZERO options on the limited menu. The server was super sweet and let us check out the buffet before deciding to stay or not. All the sides were vegetarian and the price of 24.99 each wasn't too bad, so we stayed. The buffet included ham, turkey, fried flounder as the mains, with sides of mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, carrots, mixes veggies, Mac and cheese, rolls, corn bread, coleslaw, and roasted potatoes. It also included a small salad bar and about 4 dessert options. There was also Easter candy scattered on the table and plastic eggs to open with treats inside-- making the lunch extra fun! As adults we never get to open easter eggs! We also enjoyed the live music. Five stars, but subtracted one for the lack of true vegetarian options with the limited menu. Thanks for making our day special!
