Eh- I was so excited for this place. I love the design walking in but that's all I liked. You're hurried to your table and then just hurdled away like cattle. The servers just sit at one table chatting the whole time. And I didn't appreciate the fact we were in the middle of eating and they put the bill down- like how ignorant is that. What I really thought was a turn off for this being a buffet- there was a very small selection of food. And why is the chicken feet and octopus directly next to the dessert this threw me way off and was gross. Most of the fruit wasn't ready yet. Tasted disgusting. The food was very mediocre especially for the price. I used the restroom and when I came out an employee ran right into me because they were too busy chatting with another employee, like full force bumped right into me and they couldn't care less. Good Town Buffet - Please keep the feet and octopus away from the fruit - Chinese Near Me - Clermont, Florida

I really wanted to like this place!! (But I don't) I have gone there a handful of times, always hoping to find a reason to write a positive overall review but everything they manage to disappoint. While employees tending to tables pay attention to maintain tables clean, retrieving empty used plates, their actitud is not always friendly and the person who seems to be in charge up front (same person in all of my visits) is rude, unfriendly, and unreasonable. The last two times I was there, accompanied by grandchildren, I saw the sign up front about cost for children "up to 54" high" to be $8.99 In the first of these two last visits, my granddaughter and me alone, when they brought the check to my table, I was charged for two adults. When I indicated that we were one adult and one child (under 54" tall), the server brought the manager who very rudely asked my grandkid how old she was. She said 11 and he responded "11 year old is adult here". I tried to reason with him that the sign upfront only indicates height, but there was reasoning with him. Rather than getting into an argument and upset my grandkid, I paid the bill as "two adults". A couple of weeks later, we went back, this time accompanied by family including two children (same 11 year old grand daughter and a 9 yr old grandson (must definitely under 54" tall). Upon entering, I noticed that the sign had been corrected with tapped piece of paper over the previous height ranges, and now showed "children price" shown 3 to 6 years old for one price and 7 to 10 years old for another price. So, we understood that they had adjusted and proceed to eat, knowing that at least one of the kids would be treated as "an adult" for price. When I asked him why they had changed, and also indicated that most other restaurants would considered children any kids up to 12 years old, he dismissed my comment and simply said "not here"....(ok?). We took our seats, and proceed to pick our food from the buffet. The plates at the end of the hot tables were changed for disposable small styrofoam plates with division, making more difficult to put food (fragile plates and reduced serving area). Lastly, to make things absolutely worst, shrimp in one of our plates turned out to be with their digestive track loaded with a gross black material (you make your own interpretation of what it could be after looking at the attached picture). When I called the manager to make him aware of this, he simply said "take a new one" (), like he was doing us a favor (in a all you can eat buffet service). Needless to say, it was the end of our meal. We asked for the bill, paid, and walked out to never come back. So, based not on one, no two, but several visits, I can tell "Stay away from this place". This place hasn't been open long, and I've been there twice, a couple of months apart. Consistently good and very clean. The sushi and sashimi is several steps above most buffets. The hot food is also really good, and they have very large chilled shrimp and decent size chilled crab legs. read more

Service was ok. We did get sat right away but to get our drink order to a bit. We had got our food and were eating before our drink order were taking. I will say it was super busy because it is fairly new and people came out to try it. So understandably service was slow. And our server seamed overwhelmed. They did have plenty to choose from. I heard pretty good feedback from the word of neighbors' and co-workers' mouths for this new Asian buffet in my hometown Clermont. After seeing two one star reviews, I decided to give this new Asian buffet a fair chance so I went there to have lunch today. $14.99 for AYCE lunch wasn't too expensive. I got there around 30 minutes after they opened and sushi chefs just finished preparing a full table of fresh sushi and sashimi. If you are not a seafood or raw fish lover, you will not be as happy as I was. The quality of sushi was better than the other buffet in town. This restaurant also had a larger selection of sushi that people can choose from. I noticed some reviews mentioning the lack of flavors in the food but personally I disagree. This restaurant might use less salt and seasonings which mean they were confident about their food freshness. Overall, it was a solid buffet restaurant. Is it worth for people to drive miles to visit? Probably not. It is a great addition to the Clermont food scene considering the location was originally a Red Lobster. But when saw many police officers lunched there today, I knew it couldn't be too bad. read more

Came here for dinner on a Thursday and loved it! The service was great, and the place looked clean--I really like what they've done with the decor. The food was fantastic, and you can't beat that sushi for the price. There was a nice variety of rolls, as well as nigiri and sashimi, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My only complaint was the lo mein--the flavor was off, and I'm not a fan of places that make it with spaghetti noodles. That said, all the other food was far better than what we've had at the other buffet in town. As big fans of Asian buffets, we're thrilled to have this spot nearby. Decent Buffet with a wide variety of foods to choose from. Service was aight, ambiance was the classic buffet in the shell of a prior chain or big box restaurant. Great job decorating but the table I sat at was mounted to the wall incorrectly making one side far from the table and the other side too close. Food quality seemed pretty good, nice variety of sushi and fresh food came out on a consistent basis. Price is a bit steep in my opinion, I'm sure most would frequent this place if they knocked a few bucks off of the price. Give them a try! read more

Been there several times already, the food is always fresh. Sushi selection varies, sometime it's more interesting, sometimes it is the staples -- spicy tuna, California, etc. The sweets selection is pretty standard. read more

There is more seating than food. It was packed and hard to move through a literal sea of hungry people. The selection was mediocre and cold and the only thing that was decent was the chow mein and ice cream cup. Service was slow or non-existent. Three members of our party ended up with no drinks and clearing our table was only done when there was no room. This could be the absolute final blow to some people. If you have a shellfish allergy, do not eat there. I witnessed seafood tongs being used on non seafood foods. I was excited for this place. But it dropped the ball. Very small variety of food. More seating than food. It wasn't great. They love shrimp at this place that's for sure. Plenty of shrimp. Not enough of everything else. Slow to refill buffet. Some things were good, like the fried wontons and the crab ragoons. It's sad because I love variety of Asian food. The soups were never refilled while we were there. So didn't get to try. I only saw two tables with chairs the rest are booths. People seating on the ends of booths makes it hard to pass through. If you have wheel chair or high chair needs it's going to be an issue. Service was that of a buffet. Nothing special. I did notice a suggested gratuity on the bill. 15, 18 % etc. uh no. Only saw server once. It's a buffet. (I did leave a tip because I always tip well) I would like to suggest they not keep their cleaning buckets with solution out in the dining areas on the floor. What's that about? The price was too much. Adults were fine but kids? The bill was 87 bucks 2 adults and two kids under 10.(drinks included, sodas.) Way too much for a small buffet. We received great service! The staff removed used plates promptly. Lots of fresh, tasty, hot food. The staff was attentive and quick to replace a selection if it was getting low. This place was super clean! A tad pricey on the weekend, but then again, we were there on a Sunday afternoon. I don't eat sushi, or anything remotely like sushi, but the presentation of that food was beautiful and plentiful. We will go back during a weekday for lunch (I think it's several dollars less for weekdays). Would have loved to have had toppings for the ice cream, but that is not a deal breaker for me! read more

Zero 0 stars and absolutely horrible! Food is low-grade and tasteless, and COLD! Took the lid off of an empty item and when we left an hour later, it still wasn't filled, that was at 6pm! They don't remove your used dishes off the table! The booth's are tight and confining! The place is dirty, I would not want to see the kitchen! The restroom is filthy and disgusting! Very disappointed. The food was bland and quite honestly everything tasted kind of the same! Fish was dry, chicken skewers were dry, sushi was dry and crumbly. I tend to overeat at buffets, but that wasn't a problem here. Service consists of bringing your drink and clearing plates, no interaction really at all. The place is kind of dark, but it was like that when it was a Red Lobster. Not much change in that regard. Sorry to say I do not recommend eating here. read more

My wife wanted to try after I told her they got poor reviews. We went for dinner last night and food was terrible. It was bland and my wife tried the fried shrimp and it still had shell on. So after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try anyway, even though some of the reviews were really bad. I convinced my husband to go, and when I walked in, there was a funky smell, which kinda made me a little leery, but we sat down and had some tea and water to start and hit the buffet. My husband and I are pescatarian so we don't eat anything but fish and we were pleasantly surprised that there were a few options. There were lots of shrimp and they had a couple of different fishes cooked and some fake seafood things. They did have snow crab legs but they were stone cold and they were soggy. They weren't the worst that I've ever had, but I prefer them to be heated and not in water. They had several sushi items that seemed fresh and everything seemed to be stocked in the buffet I didn't notice the servers hovering like some reviews had said though they did seem a little bored because there were not a lot of people when we were there so that's to be expected. They're looking for something to do. All in all we like the buffet and we will go back. read more

Wife and I went here for lunch on Monday 05/05/25. It's new so we thought we'd give it a try, big mistake !! We got inside and the Hostess immediately took us to a row of booths and tried to sit us between two loud groups. We asked if we could sit elsewhere, apparently that was a bad idea. We were shown to another seat, before we could sit the Hostess asked if we want drinks. She didn't even say what they had, so we had to ask, Pepsi products. Okay so we ordered and were told to go help ourselves. Looked on the buffet but didn't see any plates (Should have left then). Anyways the clean plates are stored under the buffet at about knee level (Told my daughter later and she said nice, so the dirty mop water can splash them, good point). The food is nothing great, pretty bland. My wife choose a piece of baked fish, so hard you couldn't eat it. She got some melon, it looked good but was dry, apparently an employee must have spritzed it with some water for the look. I tried several different dishes, nothing was really worth returning for. Now back to the seating. The Hostess made sure to put a couple right behind us, even though there were a lot of other spots. The seats are the type where if you are sitting and someone seats behind you, you can feel everything in your back as they sit down. Wouldn't want them to spread people out. The couple was done before us and left anyways. Then a group of 7 people comes in, sure enough, now the Hostess is seating them right behind us in a booth that should maybe sit 4 adults. There was a double booth right across the aisle, god forbid she seat them there. Pretty sure it was done on purpose because we didn't want to seat between the two loud groups. A short time after we left my wife didn't feel too good, it took about 5 hours or so to pass. Not going to say it was their food, but she was fine before she ate. She only eaten a piece of fish, some vegetables and some fruit. Needless to say we won't ever be returning and we won't recommend this place to anyone who's friendship we cherish. Also, I saw a lot of booths, didn't really spot any tables and chairs. The booths will be a little tight for any larger people.
