Robert diagnosed a failing hard drive, was able to save what was on it and replace with a new hard drive that runs like silk. Next was replacing the monitor. Robert provided a refurbished Dell monitor with speakers, sharp picture, money well spent in both cases. For customers who barely know where the gas pedal is on a computer, Robert will steer you straight and find something that meets your needs and budget.

Said needed to leave for 2 days to open it up, told him I just want an idea to see if was worth replacing and asked since he has done "Thousands" of these repairs, what the highest cost was? This Business Genius tells me "A Million Dollars". I told him that is F'ing crazy. So this place either does not know what they are doing or they are crooks, either way you don't want your business there. Ended up going to 2 other repair shops and both were able to give a high end estimate. Robert, your response is as ridiculous as your "Million Dollars" quote. I did not get frustrated until you gave an obviously ridiculous answer. Yeah, I shouldn't have said your answer was F'ing crazy, but no other words could describe it. Don;t worry, I found Peace when I went to a professional repair shop that had no issue answering my questions. I am sure you will also find peace as your business drops off due to your stellar customer service.

Usually going to the Apple Store isn't at the top of anyone's list. It definitely wasn't on mine…read morebut I had to write a review because I had such a positive experience with staff. My phone had been having storage issues with system data taking over about half of the storage due to an updating issue. I was nervous that the appointment was going to take forever and the fact I had my toddler with me added to my anxiety about the situation. Upon walking in, I was immediately met by a friendly individual who took my name and set up an appointment. They directed me to the wall of games that my toddler was more than pleased to be able to utilize. Ralph was helping me out with my phone and I really appreciated how kind and knowledgeable he was. He walked me through everything and assured me that we would get my phone back to being usable! While my phone was updating, he mentioned that they were starting a class instructing people how to use the Apple pen alongside the iPad and some apps they use with it. He thought it would be fun for my daughter to join while we waited for my phone to update. Cue Davion! Perhaps one of the friendliest people I've met in a long time?! He was running the class and was so kind in helping my child hold the pen and showing her how to draw on the lended iPad. She had such a fun time following along with him on the screen and doing a little bit of her own thing as well! After a bit, my phone was fixed and fully back (Thanks, Ralph)! It's funny how an experience I was completely dreading ended up being the highlight of my day!

They went right to work on researching the periodic problem and have spent hours fixing it. True service, not sell it and forget it. I can say they back the products and services they sell 100%. As stated no other computer we bought had any issues just this one. Great staff and leadership.

Turned out my battery was swelling and upon further examination my hard drive cable was also damaged. He was very upfront and honest about his recommendation to discontinue the repair and let Ol' Bess finish out her days in peace. He got it to where the trackpad was temporarily functioning again (it was sticking due to the swelling battery) and even re-adhered the loose glass to my screen (a separate issue) I appreciate his candor as previously I'd been given the run around by the Apple Store. I was charged a very reasonable price considering Jon was able to get Ol' Bess working just enough for me to retrieve some documents off of her. I ended up ordering a new MacBook Pro and if anything is to go wrong with that one, I'll surely SKIP THE APPLE STORE and go straight to Friendly PC.

For those of you that don't know, that is less than $300 in parts. My friend could have bought a computer preassembled with software (he provided the Windows key, so no cost to them) for $350 by going to a computer store. In short, these people are THIEVES, preying on the ignorance of their customers. If you know something about computers, then you do not need to go to these fifth rate hacks and if you don't, then don't trust a word coming out of their mouths as they will try to swindle you.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE TO BE WORKED ON, LOOKED AT, OR EVEN SNEEZED ON. I'm mad I…read moreeven have to give a star as this so called "business" is a complete waste of time, money, and does not deserve a one star rating. I am surprised they are even in business. From the start of the transaction I should have listened to my intuition. I was told that a simple power socket replacement would take five days to fix because the part needed to be ordered. I did not receive a work order slip when leaving. A day later I was called for my password for what I have no clue. Ten days later I get a mumbling voicemail from the owner, whom I call back a few minutes later, and I'm told he's at the bank so he will call me back. He never called me back. I called him the next day and he tells me he hasn't started the work yet, but that my computer needs a new battery. Typical - make sure you mark your battery or they will swipe it with a different one. I refused the offer to pay for an overpriced battery. Angry that they didn't start the work yet, I asked when the new finish date would be and I was told seven days. Within that timeframe I get a call stating my laptop was fixed. I stated I couldn't get there by close of business so the guy mumbled that he would drop it off at my work. I found this completely odd and creepy. I refused and said I would be there tomorrow at lunch time. When I go in the next day the guy takes me into the back and shows me that the light comes on (whoopee who cares). I pull out my credit card to pay (when you walk in he has the VISA/MasterCard accepted sign in the window) to which he gives me a look and says "oh, could you possibly do a check or cash?" Immediately I'm on high alert and say "no" - his response, "oh I'm not sure how we are going to do this then." I asked if he had a credit card machine and why his window advertised that he took cards. He then stated "my machine is down." I asked him how long his machine has and would be down, he responded with "five days" to which I rebutted with "so you are saying tack on another ten business days?" He gave me a look as I angrily left. ADVISE: Check to see if you can even log into to your computer prior to leaving (you will see why later). I went to the bank and I got the cash out. ADVISE: Get a cashier's check or write a check. I didn't want to wait for my laptop as it had already been half a month. When I come back he sits there and makes up some sort of invoice for the work. He gives me five dollars in change, allowing me the graciousness to receive more money back because he didn't have change (oh thank-you so much). The work was overpriced, I could have done it in less time myself (this would entail me learning "how to" prior to completing the task). When I got home I attempted to log on to my laptop to find that my password did not work. I tried lowercase, uppercase, password, 0, and nothing. So I called the guy on his cell phone and asked him why my password didn't work, he literally yells "I DIDN'T DO THAT DON'T ACCUSE ME" (defensive much?). I ask him if this is common and why he wouldn't tell his customer's upfront that this would be a problem with the laptop after the completion of the work? He simply mumbles "is there anything important on your laptop?" Mind you this is the sixth time he's already asked me this question. Then he starts mumbling about how I need to press and hold down zero to go back to the system default. At this point, I have no idea what this guy has done to my laptop. I am still unable to access it because I have not had the patience to deal with it on my end. Yet, the whole ordeal was a complete and utter failure. I'm reporting this individual/business for their shady business model, their false advertising that they take cards when the obviously do not, and the simple fact that their customer service is non-existent. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANY - you'd have more luck finding someone more reliable and trustworthy on craigslist.
