This is my second visit to Goodfellas and thankfully the best choice I could have made. I was in an accident and needed repairs to my leased 2022 Mini Cooper Countryman. Going through my insurance company, they recommended other shops in my area but I chose to go to Goodfellas instead because of my first experience with their shop and their outstanding reviews on Yelp. John, his Father Jack, and their team were awesome! So gracious in responses to my calls, thorough and so neat with the repairs. They even had our car detailed when it was completed! Got into a fight with a parking post! LOL. Here we go: Bachelor no. 1 was (recommended by the car dealership btw) was fine, had the highest bid and longest timeframe (5 days). Bachelor no. 2 (2nd recommendation from the dealership) was sketchy but had a better price than no. 1 (3 day turnaround) - which prompted me to look on YELP where I gladly went with John or Bachelor no. 3 - Great Price/Great Service/Quickest Turnaround (2 days). This review is little lengthy, but these guy deserve it. Especially when you own a custom truck or car and worry if it's going to turn out how you invasion. They knock it out of the park!!! Want to say a huge thank you to John and his team. John went above and beyond in staying on top of my insurance who didn't return phone calls wasn't really workable. Finally got the second adjuster out their to properly appraise my truck. Was unable to be their so I explained to John my concerns, I get a call 3 days later from insurance saying my truck will be covered remind you this was a month in half after truck was dropped of at Goodfellas. He his crew did amazing job on matching this custom paint without a paint code. His team not only painted the bed, fenders, hood, buffed out scratches from chrome bumper also added supports to illuminate bed flex from these crappy roads. This was my first time coming here, and I had a great experience! I needed to repair some clear coat damage on my hood and front and rear bumpers--John quoted me a fair price and also explained the different options for the repair. When they started the repair, they found that they had to do some extra work, but they didn't charge me for it. My car was finished in 3 days, and the paint looks great! John also threw in some extras like shining up my headlights and painting my lower front and rear bumpers. He was also very responsive via email, which is sometimes hard to find with car shops. We welcomed the new year with an accident. With my prior experience with Jack at 1st Empire; I didn't even think twice and went straight over to Goodfellas. My insurance company went to his shop, did the assessment and everything was handled from that point on. I just drove my rental car and waited for a call letting me know that my Volt was ready for pickup. The car literally looked just like dealer new! I was an idiot and parked my Toyota Yaris a little too hard into a raised planter while turning into a parking space that I couldn't quite clear with my bumper. The plastic components of my front bumper snapped in the impact and though I was able to bolt my bumper back on where it connected under the hood, the sides and bottom were flaring out and unable to be snapped back into place. My car was drive-able, my bumper wasn't dented at all, but it wasn't a good look or something I wanted to ignore. I made the mistake of going to the dealer's body shop first - they told me my only option was to replace the entire bumper for AT LEAST 1400 because if I didn't, I was facing certain disaster. That didn't sound right at all. A quick google search for a body shop in the area brought me to Goodfellas. Jack confirmed my thoughts about the dealer's body shop and got to work with a couple of bolts to put the sides of my bumper back on within fifteen minutes - free of charge. He understood that I wasn't looking to get my 10 year old economy car back to the condition it was when I bought it and just wanted things put back into place. Fast, friendly service is what you can expect here and though I hope I never HAVE to go to a body shop again, Goodfellas is going to be my first choice if I do. read more

Took my 2009 Corolla to Jack a few months back after a hit and run on my driver side passenger door. Since I was having that fixed I asked him to quote me on also fixing up my passenger side door as well as back frame and bumper due to damages from having the car almost 10 years. Not only did he do an AMAZING job, the cost of everything was very affordable in comparison to other collision centers. I had also years ago dented my bumper and had it repaired at a different collision center and the color never truly matched my car. It's a blue metallic, so it can be tricky. Jack and his guys made it look seamless! So of course if I ever needed to see a body shop guy again, I knew I would come here. And thats just what happened! The Thursday before easter my right rear passenger door suddenly stopped working. No matter what my husband and I did we could not get it to open. Key fob did nothing and neither did trying manually. Took the car to Jack the day after easter and it opened on its own. Great. But he said if it did it again, to bring it back and not do anything. Well, happened again a week later. Took it back and door would still not open. However, IDK what type of magic his guys have, because one of them was able to get it to open so we could see the issue. Ends up the actuator needed replacing. By next morning Jack had the part and by lunch time he had his guy replace the faulty piece in 30 minutes and I am all set now! If you need to take your car in for body work (and even electrical issues like my door) then look no further! The last body shop that we went to for a previous accident was good, but there were a couple of things that I didn't really like, but at the time, it didn't really bother me too much. So I took my car to first empire this time around and there was a notable difference. The first guys weren't too bad but Jack and his crew are really five stars! Not only did he take care of my rear bumper but he readjusted my rear door so now the car is like new. If I can give them seven stars I would. Jack and the whole team at 1ST Empire Auto body are great. I went to the movies a couple of weeks ago and came out to my car with a huge dent on the drivers side because someone hit me pulling into or out of the spot next to me. I had no idea where do go to get my car fixed, but thanks to yelp I found 1st Empire. After all of the great reviews I went in to get a quote. Jack is such a nice and caring business owner. He makes sure his customers are well taken care of. When he put together the quote for me he made sure to include the cost of a rental car for the amount of days I would need so the people responsible for hitting my car would know they would have to supply that money as well as the amount of the quote. I am thankful for that because going into the shop I was thinking about how I would be able to cover the cost of the rental car. I am completely happy with the end result.
