This is one of the best pizzerias I have even been to. The building is beautiful; they breathed life into an old distillery converting it to what I can only describe as the platonic ideal of a sleek mafia pizza joint. The interior is wood leather steel and brick with an open floor layout and a gorgeous bar. Upstairs is pool and a rooftop outdoor bar with the most incredible of views. The bathrooms are stylish and clean with lighting worthy of a photo shoot. The silver bullet shoot my Mr. Goodfella himself is the pizza. Oh the pizza is incredible and to try and describe it in more detail is a Sisyphean task that to even attempt to complete would drive any mortal mad. To complement the food and rich atmosphere is the over employees. There were 6 making the pizza and taking orders with 3 working the bar and a few dispersed clean up and delivery pizza. I had stellar service all night and even through this was my first time here felt as if I was a regular and was friends with the staff. To say this isn't a 5 star restaurant is to say " Worcestershire sauce " which is impossible. read more

We tried a few things from goodfellas , they were good. My favorite was the buffalo chicken cheese bread! the bread sticks were a little under cooked for me and the pizza was a little over cooked. I went to the Lexington Distillery District location awhile back & it was awesome! The vibes there were great, & grabbing a drink and a slice was the perfect accompaniment for a sunny day! The slices are HUGE and served up New York style. There's tons of pizza options and being able to purchase by the slice is a game changer. The line was out the door when I left, so my experience must have been a fluke, but this is absolutely not a place I'll make an effort to come back to. The pizza slice was mediocre (maybe the fresh pizza is better?), service was terrible (you could ask me if I want a drink, maybe?) and the patio was loud and also apparently allows smoking. Overall, there has to be a better option in this collection of restaurants. read more

Please note this is true NY style! Getting a large will surprise you! lol. Made that mistake once when we were Goodfellas newbies and ordering for caryout. Had a hard time getting the box in the car! We had our business meeting here on Friday. The six of us sat at the long high top table in front of the bar. We ordered the 22" Goodfella pizza and a double order of breadsticks with marinara. Everything was delicious with more than enough food for the six of us. We had a box of leftovers after all of us ate. Cheap lunch meeting for our group. The highlight of our visit was one of the pizza prep guys was singing every song that came on and was actually pretty good and very entertaining. read more

The experience doesn't quite live up to the cool venue. The pizza itself is pretty mediocre lukewarm with a greasy top, making it only a late-night fuel stop rather than a destination slice. What really puts the cherry on top is a moody staff that seems more interested in getting you out than delivering warm hospitality. It's a fun spot to grab a drink, but keep your expectations low for both the customer service and the temperature of your food. read more

I loved the location, the outdoor seating, and the vibe! Walk in and order at the counter. You can get pizza by the slice that's ready to go or order a full pizza with the toppings of your choice. Bread and sauce is also ready to go like the slices. We chose slices and bread with marinara. They stuck it back into the oven for a few seconds to make sure it was nice and hot for us, but the pizza was a bit chewy from sitting for so long and then being reheated. Very good New York Style pizza. Great place for an inexpensive lunch. We got especially lucky that they have half price specialty pizzas on Mondays. Two of us shared a 12-inch Paulie's Favorite with some marinara on the side. It was a very generous 12-inch that we could barely finish. They don't scrimp on toppings, that's for sure. They have other lunch specials that people were lined up out the door for, by the slice. We sat at the bar where we were able to order a whole pizza from, but if you want by the slice you need to wait in that line and order at the counter. They were cranking them out though! It's 2025, please offer at least one gluten free option for those of us who aren't celiac and do gluten free for other reasons. Lack of gluten free options is so sad. Overall it's amazing pizza and a great place to hang out, I just wish I had a choice other than a side salad. read more

Finding Goodfellas was just plain luck as we had a tour planned before hand next door at the Barrel House distillery. After the tour we came up Goodfellas and we were glad we did, what a cool industrial space that has been converted into this epic pizza spot, with an amazing outdoor patio along the canal with fire pit and cover seating included. Let's get to the main attraction, it's the pizza and it is massive, massive, massive, the slices, breadsticks and everything else is mega size, epic size, impressive, mouth dropping Wow. I mean these portions for the price just get you excited. The pizza is tasty and filling the breadsticks bring back memory lane of Olive Garden, yeah they are that good. All is all you get what you get at Goodfellas there are no unique items (although the location is unique), but you will get quality food, quality service at a quality price and enjoy a nice beer with your pizza outside on a gorgeous Lexington day. read more

I usually love goodfellas pizza. But this time I waited in line for 20 minutes and the pizza I got had clearly been sitting out for longer than I had been in line for. So long, that it looked dry and the guy put it back in the oven to heat it up. So by the time I got to eat the slice, it was extremely crunchy to the extent it was almost burnt, majority of the sauce had dried up, and the bread stick was also very crunchy and black on the bottom. Perhaps throwing the pizza out after a certain time would enhance quality standards, ensuring everyone consistently gets the same experience. I don't appreciate standing in a long line to get a bad slice, since the parlor prefers to save money at the expense of the customers experience. read more

Amazing food here!! We always like stopping by this collective and checking things out while grabbing a slice. Just walking in you are hit with the best smell of oregano and other amazing Italian seasonings. We were able to try the lunch special - slice, side, and drink for $9. Can't beat that! Staff was friendly and quick to get our orders ready. You can sit wherever you like in their open space. They also have pizza boxes for any leftovers. As the slices are huge, one is plenty. We rolled in here after UK beat Marshall (love the Herd by the way) for a slice or 3. This was our first time eating in after several take out experiences. We walked in grabbed 3 slices of pepperoni, bread stick and nacho cheese. I love the quick service of ordering at the counter and walking away with hot food. It was easy to walk up to the bar and order a drink, I love that there is a great beer selection here. The bar looks fully stocked, I would like to try an old fashioned here. This is a greasy thin crust pie with a great chew. The pepperoni is amazing with a wonderful flavor and they are huge! I must give a 5 star shout out to the ambiance, this is in the old James E. Pepper distillery and they have utilized every cool esthetic in this building to create a fun dining experience. The ladies room was clean on a busy night! Highly recommend! Visiting the area and a stranger highly recommended I try Goodfella's out. As soon as I walked in I noticed the outside eating area, with ample seating and a large fire pit. The building has two stories - I've only been downstairs. Walking in I could smell fresh pizza and knew I was in the right spot! This place is one of my new favorite spots and will be a must every time I visit Lexington. I've already been twice! After ordering I thought it odd that I'd need to order my drinks at the bar but was glad I did. I met John, Whitney, and Anna who were amazing; and they make delicious drinks! The food, drinks, and customer service is excellent, and that's a big compliment from someone like me. I'm from NY and grew up around bourbon drinkers. Both are plentiful here. read more

Located in Lexington in the cultural district this mall/distillery has amazing pizza, calzones in a killer distillery setting. Ample inside and outside seating (weather permitting) you walk the line, place your order and grab a seat. They have lunch specials and slice options but the pizza is so good you will want the whole pie. The food was good. I was not a fan of the chairs. It may be good for someone without any kind of hip pain but it killed my legs with those wooden seats. The drinks were priced normal for Lexington. Had to stop by Goodfella's after the infamous 0.0 Barstool score! Coming from Chicago, my pizza bar is set high. I loved coming out for Goodfella's Monday special of 50% off 12" pizzas. Our group was able to each get their own preferred pizza for a fraction of the price. We got Paulie's Favorite, Nonna's Pie, The Don, and a classic Cheese & Mushroom. We also got the Extra Large Breadstick. Pizzas took about 20 minutes to be made fresh. We all LOVED that it was freshly made and flavors were great! Additionally, we got a vodka sprite from the bar which was very reasonably priced. They have a great selection of spirits (classic and rare), cocktails, and beers. Goodfellas was a great find even if it's a pizza chain. We were happy we visited and enjoyed all items we got! read more

If you plan out your tour at the distillery just right, you will want to make sure you stop here for their lunch special or take a pizza to go. The size of their pizza is ridiculous!! We could smell the pizza during the entire distillery tour and once I saw the slices I had to stop. Lunch special was $10 and included a slice (which is really like 2 pieces in one, a side (breadstick, salad or dessert), & drink. Their breadsticks are so huge they have to be folded in half and are basically at least 2 breadsticks. I highly recommend the garlic butter. The inside is cool because it was part of the original distillery. They have indoor and outdoor seating by the river. read more
