I can't express how great this place is. I've come in twice to get flowers for my girlfriend, once for her birthday and once as a congratulations. Both times the florist worked with me, making sure we picked a vase and colors she'd love. She made sure she knew my budget, and she still managed to make a beautiful bouquet when I came in the second time with much less to spend. Both times I've gotten bouquets from Goodland my girlfriend has absolutely loved them. In addition, the florist has had them ready in less than thirty minutes both times. I plan on coming here for every occasion, because I know the florist will make the perfect bouquet every time. Thank you! read more

Please take your business someplace else. I called yesterday (Monday) to order a cheerful bouquet for my daughter. It was her first day of college and I wanted to send her some flowers to cheer her up and wish her a good school year. The person who took my order assured me the delivery would go out that day. I asked for white, pinks and purples, something light and cheery for around $100. I called later that afternoon since the flowers hadn't arrived and left a message. I got a call the next morning from someone apologizing that the van broke down and could not deliver the flowers. She offered to add balloons and chocolates to make up for the flowers not arriving on time. I agreed and asked that the flowers be delivered later in the afternoon since my daughter had school all day. The flowers are horrible ( see pic). This is not a bright and cheery arrangement. It's dreadful and I specifically said no carnations because my daughter hates the way they look what did they add? A flower that looks like carnations! This bouquet looks like flowers you would have bought at Trader Joe's for $20 put in a vase and charged $100 for it and there were no balloons or chocolates. Seriously beyond disappointed and frustrated. Do yourself a favor take your business someplace else. read more

We had the best experience with Lela! We hired her for our wedding (which was last week) and I had sent her quite a few photos of inspiration of what I was wanting for my bouquet and my bridesmaids. I was really nervous about not seeing them before hand because let's face it I can be controlling but when I saw everything Lela created on our wedding day, I was in heaven. Everything was PERFECT! I've ordered from Goodland Florists twice now. The first time I had an amazing experience. I had called them from another state with a birthday order of a bouquet and gave them an address and a budget. After a few questions they had for me (what are some of the favorite flowers of the recipient, how tall the bouquet should be, etc) they basically said "I got your back, no worries". The result was an amazing sight to behold. I was charged around $90 which was a good $15 higher than my budget which I didn't appreciate but the bouquet was worth it. The following year I called with a similar request, but this time for a smaller bouquet. Apparently the first one made the recipient a little embarrassed having to carry the flowers back to her desk. In a similar fashion, I gave them a budget ($40-50) and the address. This time I got charged around $60 (really guys?) but the bouquet wasn't as good. I felt it was more around $30-40 than $60. Last year's was definitely a $90-100 bouquet. I will come back again next year for a third try and will offer more information and a firmer budget. I am hoping for goodland florists to come through! read more

I called and spoke to Lela. She was so helpful! I let her know the arrangements that I liked the best on her Yelp page and her website. She put together the most beautiful arrangement and it was absolutely perfect!! Absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! They were also reasonable. I went to their shop in person to order flowers for my friend, I wrote a personal card so they can include it with the flowers went online to choose the flowers and went to pay at her flower shop. It was really important that my friend receive those flowers because it was going to be a really hard day for her. The Goodland florist just did not deliver the flowers at all. They did not call to explain or apologize, I had to call her to ask what happened and I felt that she offered me a offhand apology that it fell through the cracks and they were busy and forgot to deliver the flowers. NEVER did you ask for a deposit, and NEVER did you ask for a contract. In fact, it wasn't until the Bride asked about a contract that you suddenly announce you were going to another event and we were out of luck! At any point we could have paid a deposit. Ordered a bouquet last minute for a friend who got a work promotion, and had never heard anything about Goodland since I live in a different city.
