I'm not typically one to write reviews but I felt like this was necessary. After a frustrating experience with another dentist who could not see me for an orthodontics consultation until May, I was referred to Goodman Orthodontics by Dr. Cardoza's office. I found that this office was accommodating and professional. Mary Beth was able to assist me over the phone with scheduling an appointment for the following week and made the intake process so easy for me. She also addressed my concerns about my MetLife insurance. Going into the office was nice too. They seem to be very up-to-date technologically and everyone I worked with patiently answered and addressed my questions. Nick and Dr.Goodman showed me the best options to correct my issue and made sure that whichever option I chose, worked best with my current lifestyle. I was able to get a breakdown of each option (braces, clear braces, or aligners) and how it would look with my insurance coverage, in-full payments, or a payment plan. I've been to offices that made me feel like they wanted to just charge me a lot but this office really emphasized giving an explanation of what I was being charged and why. I really appreciated that. I felt like this office really addressed everything I needed and went above and beyond. I just finished my sure smile (invisalign) treatment at this office. I came in with some shifting and gapping issues on my upper teeth due to not wearing my retainer. I only needed treatment on my top teeth and after discussing my options with Dr. Goodman, we decided on clear aligners. I felt a little bit vain going in there initially because my issues were so minor compared to others that needed a lot more work that I did. At no time did Dr. Goodman make me feel out of place or like I was being too picky about my teeth. His goal was to make sure I was happy and I appreciated that. Also, I never felt out of place as a 33 year old woman. Typically you think of braces and you think little kids, but I did see a lot of adults in there for treatment so that was kind of nice! As a whole I am very satisfied with my experience here. I loved every single one of the staff members that was part of my treatment. Every time I walked in they greeted me by name and took me back almost immediately. I never felt like I was waiting around to be taken back or to be seen by Dr. Goodman. As far as scheduling I was always able to get appointments on days and times that worked with my schedule. During my treatment I had an issue with my permanent retainer on my bottom teeth and Dr. Goodman fixed it for me even though he was not the one that put it on, which was super nice. read more

When I went for my consultation, I was anxious and self conscious because the patients being treated were so much younger. As I stepped inside the office lobby, I was greeted with a very warm welcome by a positive and energetic team and awed by the awesome setup, the decor. I met with Maribeth for the consultation. I shared with her my concern of having braces at an mature age. My level of anxiety subsided when I was informed that much older adults get treated with braces. I chuckled. During the consultation, Maribeth had given me a tour of the offices and the treatment area. I was impressed by the layout and how efficient the process flowed from start to finish. Also, very clean. After the tour, we discussed the various treatments and was provided with the quotes via email. I already knew when I left that I was coming back to get braces. So, I decided to "go for it". I contacted Maribeth and made the appointment. I started my treatment on 1/25/22. Needless to say, I am very happy with the care that I am provided. Who would have thought at 49 years old, I would be getting braces-- and be so excited about it?! My wife has been in the dental field for 28 years and she insisted that I see Dr. Goodman for an evaluation. According to her, he really knows his stuff-- he's a Board Certified orthodontist (impressive-- research it), experienced in complex cases (I'm a jaw surgery case) and an all around nice guy! So, I did it! I went for the complimentary orthodontic evaluation where Dr. Goodman explained all of my treatment options in detail. I decided on a treatment plan, found the perfect financial arrangement and scheduled to start right away! The office itself is immaculate, state-of-the-art and has all digital imaging, including a scanner-- that makes taking dental impressions a thing of the past! There is an array of refreshments, Nespresso, bubbly water, cookies, etc. to enjoy. Every appointment started on time-- no waiting at all. Dr. Goodman has an incredible team of employees. You can really feel how much they care for one another and for their patients. Special props to his OA Brittney, who fabricated an amazing pontic tooth for me to wear during treatment. If I could give Dr. Goodman a million stars I would. The staff the service the time i spent in this office was amazing. From beginning to end they worked with me. I spent a year in a half in braces and I am happy with my results today I had them removed I am happy with my new smile. Price are reasonable and a little cheap if you ask me for the service they provide they are worth every penny. Dr. Goodman will sit and have a conversation with you not just go look at your teeth and leave he will listen to all your questions and answer accordingly. Wow, so happy we went with our gut, and got a 2nd opinion on our daughters braces. Her pediatric dentist was recommending 2 sets of braces over a span of 4ish years. Santee Orthodontics went over her facial bone structure. Not only is their plan better, but it cost less, and there is NO point in starting right now. Maybe 2 years from now, once things grow a bit more. Even went over the bone structure in her spine, and how the growth spurt there affects Jaw growth, etc. I learned A LOT today!
