Decided to try my hand at thrifting..this goodwill isn't the largest but it's a decent size store. I came in on a Wednesday and they were putting items out. There was a lot to look and sift through.. they also had a really good deal where all red tag items were $1.49 and orange items were 20% off. I came in for a blazer or cardigan and ended up with 13 items at checkout lol.. one of the male staff members who were putting things up, saw that I was looking at sweaters and he found a really cute one for me and I tried it on and it was a perfect fit ,in total I paid 40 bucks and got some really cute pieces for work. Definitely will be back. This location is great. read more

This Goodwill was okay. It's a fairly small store, and the day I went there wasn't a lot of variety. It may have just been the timing--going on a Friday, things could have been picked through. That said, I did find a nice canvas print for my bathroom, so it wasn't a total miss. read more

The staff is horrible. I walked in and went over to a rack they were putting items out. I went to touch an item and the employee flipped out on me. "Do not touch the rack!!!!!" "Get away from it now" I'm like what the hell. All goodwills let you touch the stuff coming out from the back. Not this store. The manager said WPB stores do not allow it. U have to wait for items to hit the floor. The employee was such a piece of work. She has no business working in customer service. Such a mean person. She acted like she had a demon in her. Just crazy. I used to pick up items that other people would drop on floor and walk away. Well no more. Screw that. I'm not helping them out anymore. read more

This goodwill was definitely off the beaten track... or at least much further west than I'd realized. After driving past 441 through a heavy residential area, was surprised to find the shopping center where it was located. The store isn't that big, but it was well organized and had a nice amount of bricks a brac. I'm usually not looking in the clothes sections, but they do have a lot of that here percentage wise. I did actually find something -- a diner style heavy weight coffee mug to match another one I'd bought a while back. And at 99 cents, a bargain. Prices were fairly reasonable depending on what you were looking for... There's not much in the way of furniture although they did have a bunch of lamps. Because it's far from any area we usually are frequenting, I don't know if we'd be back. But if you're a serious thrift shopper, add this to your list to check out. read more

Donated this morning. Saw a beautiful item outside and wanted to purchase it. I was told it will priced and in the system in less than 2 hours. Returned 2 hours later. Checked out the entire store .and could not find it. Was told the item can be purchased online only. Yeah right, Someone from the staff took it. I am sure that happens a lot - there is no way to track donations!! read more

Being a frugalista from all, this Goodwill is always on my go-to list when I go back to Boca. Located almost at the end of Palmetto Park Rd in a questionable strip mall, I like to think this is a hidden gem....or the Boca-ites are just too pretentious to shop there. They have a tag of the day which is usually 50% off plus offer a huge selection of sweaters, shoes, dresses, kids clothes, books and knick knacks. I like to shop here for sweaters since there is always an abundance of them from the Northerners who move down south and if I can get an Express sweater or a 100% wool sweater for under $4, I'm a happy gal. Last visit, I got something like eight sweaters, a few tops, some books and a few pairs of shoes all for under $35. So cmon--what are you waiting for? Check out this Goodwill! read more

This a decent thrift store. I have been shopping and donating things here regularly since it opened. The staff is usually always friendly which I appreciate. I have found some wonderful treasures here and certainly nice clothes. The prices are fair and it's a great place to satisfy my shopping fix. They have a lot of clothing to offer and it is organized by color. I've been to some goodwills that attempt to organize by size but it ultimately fails due to size tags being cut from clothing and sizing varying from manufacturer to manufacturer. Color is a great way to organize the clothing and I have no problem judging fit. There used to be dressing rooms but they have recently been closed to curb theft. Sigh. There is some furniture and household items. I have found nice crystal and china here. They have shoes, purses, kids clothes and toys. There are pictures and mirrors and lamps and a constantly shifting variety of electronics. It's a good place to shop and if you go regularly you will find treasure. read more

Friendly and nice with a side of goofiness is the way I'd describe the staff here. Prices are extremely reasonable and money spent goes to a good cause. They practice social distancing and wear appropriate protection. The selection here is decent and large and the prices are much lower than faith farm. read more

This place is the worst! I donate lots of items at the store in Coral Springs, but last week I decided to donate new items to another location because my mother-in-Law decided to move back to NY after buying her everything for her new Florida apartment. So, I saw a young guy at the counter and he told me that they do not accept things with tags at the store.... isn't this stupid to say? Then I asked for a manager, and the young guy thought it was funny to ask a tall heavy set guy to get the things outside of the store and just throw them away.... after seeing this behavior and how rude they were, I decided to never donate to another location again. The store was very disorganized and the attitude of ALL employees were unforgettable. read more

I have been to many Goodwill stores. Today a friend and I went to this store in Boca Raton on Glades Road. I could not BELIEVE that the clothes were not in rows by size!! How can people put up with that? It's pure laziness on the part of management not to separate out the clothing by size! I am not going to spend hours and hours going through the entire store in the hopes that I will find an item in my size. it's outrageous. Also, the people on the floor were very nice, but they were the only 2 people on the floor and they also had to be behind the register as well. As a result, it took forever to check out. High marks for cleanliness, organization, large clothing inventory and a busy staff. Nice assortment of home interior items and furniture too. Finding parking can be a little challenging as spaces are limited. Even though I did not make a purchase at this location, I would return. read more

I live very close to this Goodwill so I pop in every now and then. It is smaller than most Goodwill stores but I usually find something interesting. The selection is very small. The prices are cheaper than the Goodwills in Broward County and they run specials all the time for GoodFriend members..which is an annual fee of $25.00 which is worth it since you get 25% off every Palm Beach County Goodwill every visit..sometimes you get 50% off on special days. Goodwill is one of those places you have to love even if it is difficult to find something to purchase; technically everything there is junk people don't want- but also represents a chance to avoid landfill and a chance to support charity, of course. There is a book section in the back that I peruse just in case a title shows up that I can use, and I bet you could get some vintage clothing here or costume fodder. Anyhow, 1 star for the available hand-me-down wares but plus two stars for the good they do! read more

Unbelievable that this store is operated by the same organization that operates the Delray Beach location. 360 degree difference from the moment you enter this fine, clean, well managed location. Employees soooo nice and polite, nobody allowed to "savage" the carts before the items are on display shelves. Absolutely a wonderful shopping experience. Well organized and every item clean and in "selling" condition. What a big difference in locations for the same organization. Hats off to West Boca location. Its a shame my local store is just the opposite. Will not be back there and don't recommend anyone wasting your time in Delray store. read more

This Goodwill had no trendy clothes but I was very proud that the staff was playing Hannah Montana OK i guess.

This Goodwill is one of my favorites. It is not good for jeans (most are bootcut),t-shirts, or furniture. Also, all the shoes and purses are beat up, not to mention overpriced. I like it for sweaters and work clothes. If you are just starting a job, it is really hard to afford $50 dress pants from Express or fancy shirts from the Limited. Come to Goodwill instead; I was able to get all brand name work clothes from here for $5- $7 each. The main negative about this place is that they do not sort the clothes by size, only by color. So if you are looking for say, black pants, you have to go through the whole rack. Since the inventory changes daily, it can be hit or miss but I have never left here without buying something. My tips for coming here (and for shopping in general) are to wear a tank top, cardi, comfy pants and slip on shoes. That way you can easily try lots of items without having to deal with buttons or laces. I am a pro shopper; today i scored 6 items for $29. You might think it's weird to shop Goodwill, but its enviro friendly, economical, and sometimes the items are even better than what you'd find at the mall! Horribly managed store. The managers Joy and Trevor have no concern for customers. Customers wait on line from the front to the back of the store with only one cash register open. Clothing thrown all over the store. Dressing rooms so full they cant be used. Joy demeaning employees in front of customers. Goodwill needs to get in that store to see what is really going on. I will never shop there again. read more

When it comes to non-apparel, some of the items at this location are outrageously overpriced. e.g. $49.95 for a CD holder shaped as a guitar? $20-$30 for framed pictures? This is Goodwill, not Saks 5th Avenue. We come here for bargains, not to pay full retail price. They need to be continually reminded that all of their items are donated for free, so why do they continue to engage in price-gouging? Price has to be relative to the item itself. When you confront the staff with this simple fact, they take offense. To make matters worse, they now have a new bad habit of asking you - the buyer - if you would like to round off the purchase total. ie. $7.98 would become $8.00 upon your say so. IOW, they want more money donated? Better the two cents in my pocket! LOL! read more

Horrific experience at Goodwill West Boca Raton!!! I was at your store last Saturday, December 1st, 2018, arrived at the last hour before your closing time of 8:00 pm. I had many items to try and went to the fitting room at the first call of the speaker announcing that the store was closing in 15 minutes. Within a couple of minutes in the fitting room the store manager, Lynn, came knocking for us to hurry up because the store was closing soon to which I replied that I was going to finish soon. She came again a couple min after that and I replied that I knew store was closing and that I was going as fast as I possibly could and I understood that they were closing. And when i say "knocking", let me rephrase that: "she was banging at the door loudly and making a show". She kept coming back and banging louder and louder... I was horrible. I told her I was about done, and that I wasn't going to walk out naked, that I needed to get dressed. She said and I quote: "don't make me get the key, open the door and get you out of there". This went on and on, it felt like forever but the whole ordeal took last than 15 minutes and that included my step daughter making her payment at the register and myself (2 separate transactions). I got it give to the young cashier guy that works there, acting normal and super polite when this whole nonsense ordeal was going on. He made us feel at ease. Not so much one of the young girls that was actually laughing as in watching someone be mistreated is a laughing matter. I was out of the store at 8:02 pm, mind that the store closes at 8 so there's no excuse for Lynn's behavior. Is not like I was keeping her way pass her closing time. I even managed to hang all the items that I was not purchasing back in their hangers even with this craziness going on. I also said to her that she was extremely rude and she said that she didn't care if I thought she was rude or not. She also treated me in not allowing me to buy the items if I didn't hurry up saying she wasn't going to ring me up. I made her aware that I was complaining to corporate, or at this point, to whoever that will listen and she did not care. I'm not sure if your company doesn't care about this type of behavior towards customer but I guess we will find out. I really do hope you do as after all, this is a business. My intend with this email is that someone speaks with Lynn and make her understand that this is NO WAY to conduct a business. Also to make sure that she does not act this way with another customer. It does not matter if you sell a product that costs a dollar or a product that costs a thousand dollars. This is no way to treat a customer. read more

The selection of items is pretty good. It's dusty, just like all other goodwills. The prices are on point. The staff/cashiers could be friendlier though. If you're thinking of stopping in anytime near closing time, don't..even if it's just for one or two things. That's what I did, and they were constantly pestering me and the other people there to hurry up! They were closing at 6, and I was trying on just a few things at 5:20, and this one staff member kept on knocking on my door, even after I told her I didn't have a lot and was almost done! So annoying. I totally get it that you don't want to stay late cleaning up, I've had family & friends who've worked in retail before. But I think one or two reminders about closing time is enough, just like other stores do..not bothering your customers every two minutes during the last forty minutes you are open!! That is more of a distraction and actually slows us down! Please think about that. And please consider being a little nicer and respectful to your loyal customers. That is all. Thank you. read more

I can never figure out how they do their pricing. household items that may be worth about $2 are usually way over $10 when I questioned the management they agree with me that the item is over priced but can't lower the price. Consequently I end up walk out without making a donation. read more
