On my first visit, I noticed they had a nice mix of clothing, shoes, glassware, and home décor, so I came back this weekend hoping to browse the clothing racks. I struck out on clothes this time around--not because they didn't have any, just because nothing in my size was quite my style, condition, or price point. That's thrifting, though. You never know what you're going to find, and sometimes the best score is in a completely different aisle. In my case, I walked out with a pair of vintage Converse All Stars in excellent condition for only $5, plus several beautiful pressed glass pieces for next to nothing. I'd call that a successful trip! When I drove by on Sunday, they had boxes and boxes of free items out front with people happily digging through them. It was way too hot for me to join the hunt, but once the Texas weather cools off, I definitely will. This feels like one of those thrift stores that's worth stopping into regularly because the inventory is always changing, and you never know what treasure you'll find next.

Stepping through the door is like visiting a hoarder's house who made a feeble attempt in trying to create a thrift store. There's a lot of clothes here and they seem to be in line with what Goodwill would price them at. This is a one to two star business, but I'll add a star since they do make an effort to help the homeless. You're more likely to walk out of here empty-handed then to find some small treasure here. There's enough parking out front and you can grab a free condom on your way out.

It's also been sitting in my draft reviews for quite awhile (for those of you tracking). Started coming here a couple of years ago, around 2023 and just love it. It's a smaller store but they have lots of well-curated pieces and a really good selection of formal wear, dresses, skirts, jewelry, etc. I was prompted to take care of this draft review and a few others today because of a dress in the window here. A friend was recently in town visiting and asked that I go back and get a picture of the dress in the window. She is thinking about purchasing it (or having me purchase it and send it to her lol). Anyway, here's something to know: items displayed in the window have waitlists for folks intersting in purchasing. Anytime I have been in the shop, including today, service is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and the vintage pieces they carry are in pristine condition. You know what I like to say at this point-shop local, support small businesses!

Interestingly, the store combines vintage items with some modern items. For example, socks, some jewelry and sunglasses are non-vintage. While the store is small, it is easy to browse. In addition, clothing and shoe items are spaced apart where you can easily view them and ferret through the racks. The value of items are reasonably priced and some items as low as $5. I did not find anything I could not live without, however, I will definitely pop in from time to time. Also, there is a fair amount of free parking. The store manager was super helpful and personable.

In addition, you'll be able to find items from various eras as far back as the 30s through the 70s. I've seen some stuff there even older than the 30s. Everything is of exceptional quality and condition. Not only do they sell but they buy as well. If you've got vintage wear you'd like to get rid of, try them. They give cash or credit for things they'll buy from folks. As with most stores like this, you'll get more in store credit for your stuff. Fun fact: they've also got a location in Waco.

While all clothing is vintage, there are a few modern items such as journals. The store manager was super friendly and made me feel I was the only one in the store. This was the perfect spot for anyone who loves fashion with a bit of spice. Prices are in a rather broad range - from inexpensive amount to a bit pricey.

We do not need to have to watch our feet to not step over a dog puddle/or worse. I understand certified ADA service digs, but will never accept emotional support/entitlement. No one wants to shop with a basket that previously had a dog/cat beforehand. It is gross to have to wipe down or deal with pet hair (many of us are allergic). I'm a dog owner and I would not bring my pet among strangers-they can easily get sick too. Not too many people care if they have a cold/or worse and it is stressful to be preoccupied to keep human to pet safe distance. I may start shopping, but if I have to weave in or around someone's dog/cat() then I just leave. Its not worth the stressful shopping. I lose my thrifting buzz having to watch my steps from pets. Many of us are frustrated with this entitlement of inconsiderate pet owners.

As the mother of a rescue dog who was going to be euthanized, I am 100% behind everything this thrift store stands for. In fact, every 6 months when I overhaul my closet, I donate A LOT of clothing, shoes, and accessories to the store in support of the cause. I also like to swing by as part of my North Loop jaunt (every few months, hit up North Loop stores and pubs---to include APA!) to make purchases. Found quite a few cute things here over the years not only for myself but friends and family. They've got an amazing selection of items and each time I pop in they seem to have loads more. First stop Austin Pets Alive! - Burnet. I learned that all net sale proceeds go directly to support Austin Pets Alive!'s lifesaving programs for animals most at risk. Their clear mission is saving animals' lives, which is so heartwarming. According to staff, Austin Pets Alive! is known for pioneering innovative programs that help keep pets out of euthanasia and place them into loving homes. The Burnet Road location plays a critical role in sustaining those efforts by serving as a critical funding source for the organization's work across Central Texas.

This is one of the most inspiring and well laid out vintage stores ever. You can just get lost for hours. So many ideas for home decor and styling. They've always got a grand selection of MCM (Mid-Century Modern) furniture and accessories. My house is 99% MCM. They've really just got the best collection of everything. When we realized he had misplaced her hearing aid, I went back inside to look for it. I asked one of the stockers to help and they ignored me. I then went to the front to ask for help and was told that I would need to look in the carts myself. I then told her I had spent $60 in the store and that they were $12,000 and asked if she would please help me. She told me " not with that attitude I can't." She then forced me to take a breath and continued to berate me about my attitude after she had refused to help me. She finally did make an announcement and someone came forward with the hearing aid.
