Recommend: Absolutely. Really quite impressed as far as the Goodwill companies go. Having seen so many Goodwill's across the country, what is impressive is both inside as well as outside. The entire buildings, exterior and interior were immaculately clean beyond my surprise. The interior looks like a professional department store, which I commend the management for ensuring such a professional look. To be honest, many Goodwill stores just simply look, very, very poor visually. I do recommend this place because they balance their articles being used and several new items as well culturing costs straight to the public. The coordination of all items for clothing with the rack toppers being neatly aligned with all the shoes, clearly shows effort and coordination at this facility.

Goodwill is awful to their employees

This has to be one of the worst organizations in America today. I tried today to donate an almost new General Electric clothes washer and they would not accept it. Whatever reason they might give me, I can't find any reasonable explanation why a charity wouldn't accept charity. I saw that they sell stuff for $1 to $3 and take up room this washer they could have easily sold for over $150 to $200. The CEO made over $1.2 million last year while paying their employees minimum wage.

The bigotry at still prevailing. Still getting the same nasty looks. I was told to leave my camelbak water hydration pack behind the counter (filled with Gatorade) very abruptly. I look around and saw three other individuals wearing large backpacks and nothing was said to them. I don't know why they seem to target certain people they feel are morally unacceptable.... I travel a lot picking thrift stores and estate sales and it seems only Chula Vista I get these horrible vibes from. One would think they would welcome frequent buyers with money but they seem to be operating in another universe. It really comes down from the top management who creates a pleasant shopping experience or a negative one.

Little long post but worth it. I've been thriftin at this Goodwill for awhile. It always looks clean and has great displays. Recently noticed how the new employees there are very helpful and super nice. My daughter got her first apartment and we wanted to see what we could find. As soon as we walked in there was a interesting glass bubble lamp and wanted to test it. A very helpful young man named Mikey located light bulbs so we could check it. I think he must've brought 2 -3 different ones because it wasn't working. Unfortunately it was the lamp. He immediately asked us if we still wanted it, took it to his manager and gave us a discount. We happily purchased it hoping it would be a easy fix. Two other employees also happily helped us with other items we found. Checking out now Mikey wrapped our treasure securely and even offered help out. Great news got the lamp home and re-wired it good as new. Thank you all for a great experience at your store, we'll definitely be back!

Went to Goodwill store again. I was looking for picture frames. There were a lot but none of them I like. I see a lot of wall decors. I was looking for something white. I was also looking for toys for my grandchildren's sister. They have the biggest Goodwill store as far as I know because I've been to some stores in San Diego county. There is a 10 % discount to Military, teacher student and Senior. They also have 20% VIP discount.

I think at the time, 2003 or so, I was a sophomore and I was catching up on those community service hours (on top of it, I know). I remember I had to do a lot of trash pick up and cleaning up graffiti. Aside from that, in these last couple of years, I frequent the recreation center to play basketball (indoor). Their basket ball gym is so cool! First of all, its air conditioned. Second, they always music playing. And, finally, they have a total of 6 hoops. Two main ones and two on each side. However, sometimes they might have only a few down. It just depends. There's definitely regulars here who come in the afternoon to play five on five. Te best times to come are usually the first three hours after its opened. Its dead during the first couple of hours. Honestly, I love this place to shoot around, practice, relax and get away for a bit from everything. The following information below derives entirely and directly from the Chula Vista web site under recreation services. Built in 2000, the Otay Recreation Center includes a gymnasium, game room, patio, and a fitness center. The programs offered at the Otay Recreation Center accommodates a wide array of participants, ranging from toddlers to youth to senior citizens. Thank you, Maddie, for making such a special milestone in my life one I'll never forget. Your kindness and compassion meant more than you know. While some were out of my budget or would have required alterations I wasn't willing to do, I ended up finding the perfect dress--already my size, needing little to no alterations, and within my budget. We were honestly amazed. I also really appreciated that they offer to hold a dress for a short period of time (either a few hours or up to a day). When you're making a big purchase decision--especially since the dresses are final sale--it's refreshing and reassuring to see a business that encourages you not to rush. It felt honest and thoughtful, not like they were just trying to make a quick sale. The only downside was the fitting room lighting. It isn't very flattering and doesn't show well on camera, which makes it hard if you're FaceTiming family or friends for a second opinion. I'd recommend stepping toward the front of the store near the window for better lighting. As a suggestion to the store, improving the fitting room lighting would make a huge difference and would also allow customers to feel more comfortable without having to walk to the front of the shop or be visible from outside. Overall, though, it was truly a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend this store.

I don't know what qualifications they have to be "counselors" but they don't seem to be licensed counselors or medical professionals to be taking any kind of weight or measurement on a person let alone give medical advice as to what I should and should not do for myself or my child. This office is also filthy. For a place that's supposed to help women and infants, there was not a clean place to change my baby. They also obviously don't care about your schedule either bc my "counselor" wrote a follow up appointment on my card handed it to me and walked me out of her office without even asking if that date works for me. Save us all the trouble of trying to reschedule. Will not be continuing with this office. Extremely disappointed.
