I just went into this location for the first time, because I was looking to donate some items. Based on the mini mall type of building, I was confused so walked on it to ask if there was an area in the back to drop things off or if I should bring them inside. I was greeted in less than a minute from the time I entered the store. I was able to ask about donations and was told this location is really just a store and the closest Goodwill for donations was clear at the other end of Meridian (120th or 112th -I forget and didn't have my phone to use Maps). This was not a big deal to me and I'm in no way upset. The 3 stars is based on my very limited time in the store. Decent customer service as far as I could tell. It was a very small store with registers I think towards the back (I couldn't see them). Seemed clean and presentable, just small. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. Overall, just plain average. And to me, 3 stars is average. If I go back some time in the future, I'll try to post an update based on a more thorough experience. read more

Nice store. Clean and friendly staff. A few more books than most Goodwill. Prices are right.

The day I visited a man was literally dumping crystal ware in a shopping cart after shuffling carelessly through the glassware section. The racket he made was almost unbearable and you knew it was damaging someone's donations to a point of no sale! Come to find out it was Dan|Don an asst. manager who told us we could literally drop the glassware onto the floor purposely and it would make "no difference" as "it was all garbage" and that he did this "all the time because it didn't matter". Well Dan/Don it matters and makes a very big impression on someone who donates to Goodwill regularly. I would not buy from this Goodwill and will be looking for alternative donation points in the future. read more

I find some really good things here and often donate. I bought 2 pair of shorts that didn't fit. The tags were still on them and I tried to return them but I didn't have the receipt. I asked for store credit but they wouldn't do that either. I commented that basically I have to donate them back then, and was DECLINED! read more

As we were passing through small towns outside of Puyallup I spotted a Goodwill. We were able to find parking right in the front and went in. I immediately noticed how quaint and clean this location was. I went to use the restroom and this alone lands it 5 stars! I have NEVER went into a Goodwill bathroom that was as clean and well kept as this one. As I journied back through the store I stopped and chatted with an employee, Joy. She has to be the most wonderful Goodwill employee I have ever encountered in all of my thrifting! I asked her politely which town this was (to check in of course to share my finds). So, after we chatted she explained to me the layout of the store and then explained that this stores has colored plastic tags vs the paper tag on the top of the label like King County. This store is a Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region. 50% off specials AND $.99 Mondays! Yes pls!! After I looked around for a bit, Joy approached me and offered me a 50% off a donated item (which allowed me to snag a beautiful Nic + Zoe cardigan for $3.99). I was able to snag for 99 cents an: A&F flannel, Dialogue vneck, Buffalo David Britton long sleeve, AND (drum roll pls)....Sandra Ingrish flannel! Wooo. Today was a wonderful overhaul! The location is well kept but the employee is awful. I wish they had an option to leave a private review. If this location got rid of Anthony customers would actually have a good experience. Rudest employee I've encountered and bragging to customers about being drunk at work. Ruins my experience every single time with his annoyance for all customers. read more

This has to be the greediest goodwill in all the land. My daughter wanted a little dolphin ornament, but it wasn't priced. it couldn't be more than a dollar, right? 5.99. For real. I can't afford to shop here anymore. You might as well go to the store and buy it new. I don't know where they get off? Everything in the store isn't some ebay treasure. I'm just trying to survive and maybe get a decent pair of jeans or a freaking ornament for my tree. The employees have gotten ridiculous, too. One constantly reeks of weed. She must toke up outside and then walk around glazed in the store. Another one harassed me because I didn't agree to rounding up my purchase total. All in all, there are better goodwills than this. I don't know where this goodwill thinks they are and they have definitely lost sight of what they are. Your not helping the community by charging outrageous new prices for used stuff. I used to love this store but the new women working there are awful. One lectured my children about picking up toys when they, in fact, WERE picking up toys. Then she and the other woman spent 5 minutes talking about my kids and reorganizing the shelves that were 1) already trashed and in the floor, and 2) are literally NEVER organized. The toys are always just places back on the shelves haphazardly. My children picked up more toys than they pulled down. Due to the one sour employee, I picked up the baby and put him the buggy which caused him to scream sob bc he wanted to see the toys. Then I got under her breath comments about not being on my phone with a screaming baby from her and several customers. It was the employee's fault he was screaming and I was coordinating with a family member to get something for their upcoming wedding. I NEEDED to make a phone call. Then, even after making a complaint in person AND on the phone, they could not muster a simple I'm sorry. Not once. Not even a phrase that was similar. Goodwill you've lost your touch. We come here often. My children think it is the prize store. I'm not ashamed to shop second hand and we love the deals. But your customer service sucks. You need to learn the skill of an apology. You may have just lost my business and we are there 2-4 times a week. You know full well that I will pick things up and buy plenty. Disrespectful and disgusting. Customer in this age is non-existent. I think I will just take my business 20 feet down the sidewalk to dollar tree from now on. You can do better. Far better. read more
