The prices are surprisingly low for a store of this type which is appreciated. Apparently they just finished a remodeling job on their business which included a lot of their new inventory. Not sure what it looked like before, but it's great. I love stores like this and I hope that it will continue to thrive here in Springfield.

We walked in to a very upscale hipster-type store with a few 'unisex' (yeah, to me, that mean's men's) shirts and none of them were very funny. The store was really quiet and uncomfortable.

As I was leaving, I asked to purchase a pack of cigarettes and was told, "We do not sell cigarettes." This confused me, since they have a smoke shop and sell other tobacco products. The response didn't seem accurate, and it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. If there has been a policy change regarding cigarette sales, that's completely understandable--but a clear explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the interaction left a negative impression, and because of that experience, I've decided not to shop there again. Customer service and clear communication matter, and this experience just didn't meet that standard.

I used to love Burlington. BOTH locations in Springfield. But over the past 2 years, this location…read morehas become an experience in obvious employee MISERY that they can't seem to hide. I have had MULTIPLE experiences where I show up an hour or so before the front door and Google say they close, only to find the doors locked with customers still inside, and if an employee saw me at the door, they ignored me and wouldn't let me in. This was only at THIS location. Also here, within the last 15-18 months, they hired a little man named Mohammed. Mohammed likes to stalk me around the store, watching me as if I'm shoplifting. My last experience there with him, he did this for 30-45 minutes, only to take a break every 5 minutes to go to the intercom to make the "store will be closing in __minutes" announcement. I got to the cash wrap at 1201am, they close at 12, and he --not the cashier--MOHAMMED--wouldn't let me check out. Literally REFUSED MY MONEY over a one minute delay. One minute I wouldn't have been late if he hadn't hounded me all through out the store. In one other instance, I walked in at 1115pm ( the door said they close at midnight), he saw me, ran to the intercom to announce that the store would be closing in 20 minutes. Wait. So, you close at 1135pm on the SATURDAY AFTER THANKSGIVING? 1135pm? Just a straight up LIE. So I stopped going there about 6 months ago. I was in the vicinity the other night and thought about going but I called to see if he was working and he answered the phone. So I hung up. Never again.
