This location is one of the biggest ones I've been to and is really organized. The employees are helpful and I sent the joke around with them while checking out. There's always a selection of goods from shoes to clothing. I love looking at the back area on the random trinkets they have. I feel like recently prices have actually gone down here and are a little bit more affordable than they used to be. Recently I purchased a vinyl player and found out that they have vinyls for $0.59. It's interesting to come here and see firsthands that one man's trash is another man's treasure. This goodwill is nice and in a way feels cleaner than most. Selection depends on time of the year and time of the week but there are still some gems to be found. The staff is friendly and prety good at finding a price if the label is gone. This is one of the better Goodwill stores as it seems to be a lot bigger than some of the other stores. Making donations is easy with the drive up and unload area to the left of the store. There are lots of things to browse from clothes to books to DVD's to books to sports equipment to anything else somebody didn't want. Thifting use to be an affordable alternative to buying new clothes. But the prices are so expensive almost $10 (7-8.99) for each shirt/ pants. They no longer have fitting rooms which would be fine if you could return items. So you either have to try it on over your clothes in the aisle or buy it and have 3 days for exchange only. There were so many items that were ripped/ missing buttons. Etc - how were these allowed to be resold? Originally was going to just rate 1star but there were some good quality items found so that gained a point but that's more on people donating and less about the company. Will not recommend- honestly I think I'd prefer fast fashion over spending hours browsing congested aisles with clothes that would still need to be mended, that you can't try on or return. Been going to goodwill all my life and have never had any issues. There's a short oriental lady that unloads carts that is rude to me all the time. I have done nothing to deserve the way she treats me. Today she gave me a dirty look and pushed the cart in front of me while I was walking down the aisle I jumped out of the way. I enjoy goodwill it distresses me walking around trying to find a bargain. I'm at this location almost every day and everyone else is great. She is very rude. Someone needs to council her. Been a manager for 14 years she would not last long in my store. My team members wouldn't put up with it. I don't usually write bad reviews but she's making me feel uncomfortable. read more

I have been thrifting for years, and this is one of my least favorite goodwills to shop or donate at. It seems like they don't have enough relevant inventory for the area. Some things that are being sold should have been thrown away not tried to be sold again. I have found very little items from this location that are actually worth purchasing. Donating here is so hit or miss. We have had multiple unpleasant interactions with the workers, who are normally act extremely bothered that we are even there donating. They have randomly put limits on how much you can drop off, have become upset with us when we put the items (not in bags or boxes) in the cart or handed directly to them because we wanted to keep the reusable canvas bag they were in, or they have just been overall rude when receiving the donations. It's upsetting because when we drop off at other locations the workers always seem so happy and thankful, but this location doesn't have the same energy at it. We try to avoid coming here if possible, this is most definitely a last resort place for us. read more

I save so much money buying clothes, kitchen items, and furniture at Goodwill. I love getting work clothes here because a lot of times you can find brand name items in great condition for a fraction of the price at retail. This is also the environmentally conscious choice because these items are ending up in a landfill, nor are you purchasing brand new items that just made it through the manufacturing process. Inside of a larger strip mall area for shopping, this Goodwill is on the newer side. They are well organized and they have everything sectioned out. It was easy to look through items and to see what was available. Obviously there is different stuff every time, so if you see something you like, I'd grab it cause you'll most likely never see it again. They have a lot of what looks like 'overstock' merch from retail locations up front at the checkout area. I'm guessing they have a partnership with a local retailer for out of season bulk. It can be a good place to look for seasonal stuff after a holiday has past too! Usually it is very inexpensive! You never know what you'll find. This has been my go-to thrift store for a while, but I was disappointed to see them remove their book and DVD sections in the store. They still play the advertisements for them, though. On the bright side, I never walk away empty handed! The different aisles are well-organized, and I always see staff cleaning and re-hanging merchandise in the clothes section. Extremely disappointed. I donate often at this location as well as shop there, but recently when dropping off a donation the gentleman wouldn't even assist me with putting the donation in the bin. I'm 73 years old and placed everything neatly in the car. I usually donate often and the stuff I donate is in very good condition to gently used. I was extremely disappointed that the gentleman didn't offer any assistance, stood there and watched me struggle to take the contents out of the car. @@ BEWARE! @@ Don't Shop Here! Was there looking to purchase things to give away, to the less fortunate. I found an open woven grip ball, without a price. I asked the clerk for a price. She took it to the back and got it priced. She walked it back to me, and the price had fallen off in route. She told me the supervisor said, that I must have removed the price. She said they assume all the people are removing the tags, even if they didn't. (You know what they say about assuming!) She apologized to me several times, feeling very uncomfortable with what her superior told her. She took it back to be repriced again, and I followed her. The price went from $2.99 to $4.99. Instead of putting the price inside the ball where it won't fall off, they stick it on one strand with no real grip on the sticker. They could have connected the sticker around the strand, to lock back on itself. That would never fall off! I asked to speak to the manager about being falsely accused. I waited around more than 10 minutes for her to come from a closed door meeting. Other clerks told me to knock on the door and interrupt her, but I didn't think that was correct.. The supervisor who accused me, came out and tried to have a conversation with me. I told her I don't want to talk with you, I want to speak with your manager. The manager comes out and handled the entire situation horribly! If these two are trying to teach people how to work, we are all in for terrible customer service and bias. Anyone who assume guilt, is guilty themselves. A pure heart, sees no evil! This is America, where we are to presume innocence. I'm a 61 year old white grandmother, business owner with breast cancer, trying to do something nice for the community, and these are the people I have to be abused by! I'm trying to tell the story to the manager. At this point I'm upset and out of breath, wearing a mask and trying to explain. The blonde manager SL, tells me to calm down in a harsh tone, like I should just except being called a criminal and swallow it! Not, I'm sorry you are upset, take a minute and catch your breath. What kind of management skills do these people have? She bumped into me and tells me to keep my hands off her, in front of all of her clerks. I apologized, because I had no intention of touching her. Great escalation techniques! I hope they never become police! The manager just kept escalating it and I asked for their names and picked up the other items I had and went to check out, and said I won't return here! I waited in line 5 minutes with my things. I asked at the register for the district manager, and she acted like I was asking for her new born. She refused to give me any info. She rang me up on register 1. The manager shows up as I'm just about to slide my card, and tells me I need to leave with out my purchases and she is calling the police on me. This is not a Karen shopper. This is about 2 Karen management on a power trip, with the most horrible people skills. Then She tells me I'm not allowed back in, when I told her when I departed the office, I was never coming back! Who is stupid enough to spend money where it's almost the price of new for used, and the management assumes everyone is a crook! It's their loss! I spend at Goodwills all over Florida! All the other Goodwills are more reasonably priced, and are glad to see me! I've never had this issue from any other Goodwill, or store anywhere! This Goodwill has gone down hill! It's so expensive, for items that they get for free! This is supposed to help the community, while training workers. They are failing on both! Other Goodwills give you a better frequent shopper discount. The discount here is a joke! Now everyone I see, I tell them this story! I like this Goodwill. You can usually find me in the books section. That's where I hide while my wife browses through the rest of the store. My wife finds lots of good clothes here for both of us. What I like is that they price items by type rather than brand. So you can get a Roc A Wear jacket for the same price as an old London Fog jacket. So here's the deal. They have great home items SOMETIMES, like usual they sell broken things but theres usually a gem or two if you search. HOWEVER, they took away the plus size section and now you have to hunt and search for anything over an XL. They used to have the dedicated racks in the back and while I always complained and groaned about how I had to go to the hidden fatty corner, I didnt mean for them to just completely rip it away from me. This Goodwill is one of the best. The only issue I have is for some reason they sell discs without the actual disc, just the empty case, and it still costs the same as if it contained the disc. I have purchased some nice items here, like a Penny Hardaway authentic jersey, a Sony SACD player for $10, and multiple discs. I like how clean and orderly this Goodwill is but I miss the old one where it has sort of an ick factor, even the cashier's are sort of icky, but this one is more organized and neater. read more

I have been to several Goodwill locations in the Orlando area and this is by far my favorite location! This location has opened within the last year and looks great. The store is clean, items are well organized, and the employees are friendly. The quality of the items within this location are superb; half of the items my husband and I purchased still had on the original tags! There are six fitting rooms total, which are spacious and have many hooks to hang up your clothing. This location is in the East Orlando area and has more foot traffic during the weekends, of course. I typically go after work on a week night to have more elbow to go down the aisles at my leisure. Overall, this Goodwill location is really "as good as it gets" in the Goodwill world of shopping! read more

Really well organized by 3 and under kids, 4 and over kids, plus size, maternity and by gender, this review gets 3 stars mainly by merit of its organization and having a ton of stuff and plenty of dressing rooms. On the other hand, I didn't find the bulk of the inventory to be anything to write home about. A lot of the ladies clothes were Old Navy, Merona, Express and other lower end clothing which I do buy new but it seems odd buying a used Old Navy tshirt for $3.96. (All items in a category are the same price unless they have a certain color tag indicating 1/2 price.) Plenty of Ann Taylor, too. It seemed a lot of stuff was size 4 or S. Tons of kids books were on offer as were glassware and mugs. Despite the lackluster pickings, I walked out happy because I did find some things including 3 Homer Laughlin plates ($3 total) matching a creamer I have at home. read more

I went in today before 5:45pm to drop off a lot of things at lake Underhill goodwill. The place was open until 7 pm. The employees were outside and would not take the stuff because he said they were close. They were open they just have employees that don't want to work. I took all my stuff and put in the garbage. I will never ever donate to goodwill ever again. I had to driver over an hour to do the donation and that how they treat donations. read more

I love this Goodwill! It has an incredible selection and the workers are very helpful! One such worker is Adam! My husband and I were looking at an end table and we didn't know if it was for sale (the tag was gone!). He announced to the store if anyone was purchasing the end table in question. He asked another associate for help. And then, when my husband and I were walking to our car, he runs out of the store and into the parking lot and announces that we can buy the table we wanted! It was so quick to do on the east side of the building (next to BJs) and the person working there doing the intake was super nice and just started my Saturday off right.
