Fairly large store w limited name brands. Lots of very worn and some stained clothing that maybe should not be for sale. The clothing is llayed out in both diffractions, so it's kind of inconsistent when you are browsing. Staff is super friendly. CC accepted. read more

Drive thru drop off! I love it! Doing a little Spring cleaning. Due to Covid 19, a lot of businesses will not pick up items anymore. Instead, they insist that you drop the items off. Nice young man came to my car with a big blue bin on wheels, I popped my trunk. He grabbed the boxes and asked if I need a receipt. Absolutely. This was quick and easy. I'll be back, I have a few more boxes. read more

The store is located on The east side of Western Ave. I have been to the donation drop off many times. The lot is tight..you have to flip a u turn if you are headed south to get in there. You pull up and they know you are there because you drive over a line./doorbell like gas stations use to have. Goodwill is a great organization you can write off a portion of your donation when you file taxes. It helps so many. We all have been there together bargain item. Be sure to ask employees for a printed receipt for your donation. The drop off people cannot accept tips I gave the place three stars because drop off people never smile..look the most unhappy I have ever seen employees. They do not thank you. They are expressionless. They need hot cocoa..they need something to make mprove their work place or put friendlier people on the doors to make the visit better for donaters. Those donations pay a wage and while it may not be much..please take pride in who you are and the service you provide. One person CAN make a difference. read more

This Goodwill sucks. I am a seasoned thrift shopper and have never found anything of interest or significant value here, and it is apparent to me, from the quality and selection of things I see there whenever I go, that they cull the highest quality things to sell online and leave the rest for the rabble. There's no jewelry ever; all the clothes are cheap polyester trash. The staff is decent which is why there is not just one star. Avoid this place unless you are looking to possibly dump your unwanted crap; they will take it. read more

I like this Goodwill so far it's nice and clean and it's brand new. It has a dual Lane drive-through for drop off which is awesome. Other than that I have limited experience with them because they're so new. read more

I love coming here because it's so close to my home. I always find great items, though there are the occasional off days for finding anything I like. Prices aren't super expensive but sometimes I feel like it could get a bit pricey. I do wish they could have like three color tags half off for the day instead of just one. The staff are always helpful and respectful in my experience. Also the location is pretty clean. I mean sometimes the clothes hangers can get a bit tangled but other than that great! read more

Really enjoyed this Goodwill. Plenty of options and well priced. The staff is very friendly and checkout was fairly quick. I picked up a Tommy Jeans Flannel for about $9 which is not bad compared to other ones of a similar stature. Definitely would recommend. read more

As a certified Goodwill junkie, I have been to pretty much every Goodwill store in Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland. That's why, when my husband wanted to make the treck to a south side brewery one afternoon, a made a deal that we would stop at the new Goodwill store on Western. Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised at what they had done with the space as this had previously been another thrift store. The aesthetic and decor are very hip and up to date. The store is impeccably neat and organized. Kudos to the employees who keep it looking this way! Maybe it's because it is so new but still very impressive. We had minimal interaction with the employees but there seemed to be plenty of them and were quick to open an additional check out lane when people started lining up. Prices are in line with other Goodwill stores which is not always the case in Chicago. Although I did not find many name brands (which I find at many other Goodwill stores) or anything I couldn't leave without (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) by husband did find the dart board he was looking for for 2 bucks. This Goodwill store is so neat and organized. The store smells do clean when you walk in. All the racks are sorted by size and so organized. Lots of great finds. Everything is reasonably priced. read more
