Stopped at this Goodwill en route to a campground in Upper Black Eddy. I planned my route accordingly so I could hit up all the thrift stores on the way. My visit was Father's Day weekend 2021 This store has alot of positive things going for it. It's clean and well maintained. It did have more larger items (dollhouses, etc) and furniture than locations in my area. It also had an abundance of nice art work which were very current and on trend. The isles were wide and neat. Housewares were arranged by color in typical Goodwill fashion and a tad disappointing. The linen dept was skimpy but what was there was in good condition and current. I was able to get a lovely, like new, pillow insert cover for only $2.99 Peaking at the clothes the selection for shorts was in short supply and they had more ladies tops than anything else. They also had an area of new items that were lower quality (like dollar tree items, only more than $1). Any promotional discounts did not apply toward those items. I made several purchases at this location that day, including a lovely floral raincoat that was reasonably priced, in like new condition, and something I haven't seen anywhere. I've gotten compliments every time I wore it and people are shocked to hear it was a Goodwill purchase. This location also has an outlet next door. If you are unsure what is the difference between the store and outlet refer to my review of the Goodwill location on Lincoln Highway in Lancaster, PA - there I go into detail and explain the picking process and pricing. The outlet was what really took this review from 5 stars to 4. Usually I love me a Goodwill outlet, after all it's as much about the hunt as it is the score. But this one was very small and many of the items were broken or trash bound. It was very dirty, both on the floor and in the bins. I felt like I was digging in a dumpster, and like I said I'm a "seasoned" thrifter so not too much turns me off, but this outlet did. If I'm in the area I would stop again, but just forgo a visit next door to the outlet. On a side note all Goodwills are now bagless, including the outlets so do bring your own.

When this place first opened, I absolutely loved it because they had an outlet! I came here almost weekly. Fast forward to last spring, I started feeling super itchy after my visits here on the outlet side and after it happened more than once, I stopped coming for a while. I have shopped at the Lancaster Goodwill outlets and have never had that issue! I recently just started going again and the room is usually full of people with carts looking to resell and constantly swapping out bins when I'm trying to look. (This is true of other locations I've gone as well). They charge by the pound here and the price seems to rise almost yearly. I think its up to like $1.49 a pound (but if you buy over 20lbs, the price goes down). Shoes are a standard $2.25. Furniture is priced as marked. The outlet side is very hit or miss; sometimes you find some treasures and some times you leave empty handed. Lots of people were waiting for the bins to be swapped out blocking the aisles with their carts. I was pretty much in and out on my last visit, especially after I found a used bandaid in one of the bins. Gross. Overall, its hit or miss if you will find anything (like any thrift shop).

Is this a store or an outlet?I'm very confused please help.

Hello Anna, we have both a traditional Goodwill Store (prices marked by item) and a Goodwill Outlet (pricing by the pound) at this location separated by a wall. Please stop by and visit us soon, thank you!

It was my first time at an outlet store, and I found the clientele was not cutthroat as most resellers characterize people at these places.

I tracked down the manager who refused to price the item for me. A manager has the ability to price the item but whether they will or not is a different story. I still found some great cheap items. This store is heavy on clothes- that's not my thing- some items were extremely expensive- like worn shirts for toddlers for 2.99- for 1$ more I can buy brand new garanimals clothes from Walmart which is what I did. I had a box of Lincoln logs in my cart and a man shopping there told me he had a tub of them in his car he was going to donate. He offered them to me and I gladly accepted. Lincoln Logs are classic Toys! Double Aces and kind fortune for me! I love Liberty Thrift!

This is not a thrift store. It is an antique store. The prices are outrageous. They pull all of the…read morehalfway decent items out, move them to a huge section, and price them like a high end antique dealer would. They should remove "thrift store" from their name and just say it's an antique store. Plus, when thrift stores do this, they think that they can just look up dealer asking prices on Ebay and that's the value. WRONG. Dealer asking prices are totally unrelated to finalized sale prices that buyers are actual willing to pay. The store workers are not trained and don't take condition, size, color, age, etc. into account. They just find what they think looks the same and then mark it similar to dealer asking prices. I can find the same items cheaper on Ebay. This trend that "thrift" stores are doing nowadays is so dumb. No wonder the store was virtually empty of customers!

SO BIG! There is three different areas to browse! This came as a recommendation so my mom and I…read morechecked it out. We loved it. There is so much to offer. There is an area full of furniture, there is clothing, books, housewares ect. You name it they may have it. There is an extensive kids section as well. Pricing was pretty reasonable. It was not too high. Everything seemed organized for the most part. The staff was very helpful in all the stores we visited. If you are looking for something to do on a rainy day or thrifting is your thing, I highly recommend this location.

I'm going to first start off by saying this place was recommended a lot to go to. I didn't realize…read moreit was like various buildings and I think they should be more clear on that. With that being said we only went to the home decor building and the prices were RIDICULOUS. You get free merchandise and have volunteer workers why are you pricing old baskets for $15? Individual plates for $6? Used dirty tablecloths that are covered in stains and literally falling apart at the seams - $25. You're selling wrapping paper for $3 that's used when someone can go to the store to buy that for that price new. I'm not sure what your mission is or who you're getting money for but you're certainly not caring or sharing for the community that you live in. If the purpose of this store is only for people with money to blindly spend it then this is great. Goodwill is cheaper and they've also lost their minds. And you have a case of stuff with eBay photos. Is it actually posted on eBay or are you just showing us the price of the same items listed on eBay to justify why you're selling stuff at crazy prices. I still want to go check out the books because although this store was robbing people it was super clean and neat and organized but that's my only compliment. The parking lot this is in is also terrible.
