As an avid record collector, I make this Goodwill one of my stops whenever I'm visiting a client in the Webster Area. For those who aren't into vinyl, suffice it to say that the various thrift stores in the Monroe County area differ widely in the way that they price records. VOA & AmVets routinely price records @ 99 cents each. In the Webster Goodwill, prices are usually $1.99 per record, with a few 99 cent slabs peppered in the mix. Oddly enough, the prices for records at the various Goodwills range from 99 cents each in Macedon to $2.99 each in Henrietta & Victor. Which puts this Goodwill (and the one off Bay Road) smack dab in the middle. Now, as a collector, I *will* pay $2.99 for a mint record that I want. And so will any self-respecting buyer. The problem is that there are quite a few platters that won't move at that price... e.g. Jim Nabors, Roger Williams, Ed Ames, Herb Alpert, Dan Fogelberg and various junk records from the 60's and 70's. However, keep digging... for if you do you'll find some gem buried between Firestone Christmas albums and have something to brag about for years to come! read more

Best Eastside location! Set way back in a plaza (can't be seen from the busy road/sign easy to miss). Consistently better quality than other locations. Always clean, organized and staff is friendly vs the disgruntled court mandated "participants" at most local Goodwill's. Picked up a few toys for a dollar each that would go for 5x the amount at Saver's (practically across the street of you're on a thrifting bender) and triple at other GW locations. read more

USED to be a great thrift store. But since opening, they've not only done away with weekly 50% discounts, they've also started sorting pants / shorts / skirts by "small/medium/large" instead of actual sizes. I'm just waiting for them to follow the lead of other thrift stores and sort everything by color. Not sure what on earth possessed them to take two massive steps backwards, but this has gone from a good thrift store to one with few bargains and a poorly organized selection. read more

It takes a bit time to drive up here but I'm glad that I have finally come to check it out. Compared to Henrietta and South Wedge, they seem to have a nicer selection of clothing: more up-to-date styles and brands and more in size small. I got a black-and-white-patterned maxi dress. read more

I never normally have a bad experience at goodwill. However, when I went to go purchase a used tv the other day I asked an employee about their return policy Incase it didn't work. I was told that as long as I returned it within 7 days with all of the tags attached, I would get a refund. So when I went to return, due to the fact that it just wasn't what I had thought, I was told that I would only receive store credit back. Never once in the 5 minutes of me talking to the employee did the point come up that all purchases are refunded with store credit. So now I have $70 lost. If the employee had explained the return policy correctly then I wouldn't have had any issues. But, here we are -$70 later so for future sales on big purchases, I recommend explaining that to the customer before they purchase the item. read more

So to me Goodwill has always represented THRIFT meaning cheap and since its a "Not for profit" they should be pricing DONATED goods as such, instead they are thieves. I Like to search for old video games there and since everything is donated they should be pricing them fairly. YOU are not a video game store, they got a large donation of Wii games some of are more desired instead of giving you a deal they are locked up in a case charging pretty much what video game stores charge used. GIVE ME A BREAK! You can keep them for those prices. The only time the deals are actually a deal is when they have the 50% off a certain color price sticker week then its worth buying otherwise prepare to pay full price. I was told the money goes to support their call center. Wow why do I care about that? Give me a deal since you got the stuff for free. I buy Wii and other games all day long at garage sales for $1-$2 at most. read more
