I had an exceptional experience at the Goodyear store in Clifton Heights I'd like to share. Recently, a friend gifted me a nice riding lawnmower with one exception: the tires were dry-rotted and wouldn't hold air. I ordered a set of four new tires from Amazon and they arrived quickly. I called the Goodyear store, about 2 miles away, and spoke with a very nice young lady. I explained what I needed and she said they could handle it. Early the next day, I took the four tires to the store and spoke with Joseph Engro, one of the sales staff. He doubted if they could mount the new tires since their equipment was only designed for passenger cars and such. However, he'd ask one of his tire specialists if doing the job was possible. He gave me the good news that, yes, they could do it for me. I dropped off the old tires and wheels and went home. In about an hour, they called me and told me the job was done! Wow! They did the job faster than greased lightning. When my car needs new tires, in about 10,000 miles, I'll be giving this store my business. I will no longer be patronizing this place anymore. It's unfortunate because I been coming to Goodyear for over a decade regarding my inspections, oil change etc. So I came to Goodyear to get all four tires done to pass my inspection. Three days later my tire pressure sensor goes off. I went back to the shop and they explained that one of my tires needs a replacement sensor and said it will be around 200.00 for parts and labor. I explained that I was there just three days ago and that I never had a problem with my sensors. Customer service was awful and gave rushed energy. I asked if it could have been caused during the installation and they said no. I asked if that is common during tire changes and they also said no and told me the cost to repair. No thanks! My aunt warned me about this place cause she had a bad expeeience too! So much for loyalty. read more

If Kyle or Joe was there today, service would have been 20 stars but today I gave them 3 stars I had to get an oil change and the price online when I made the appointment was cheaper then what they told me at store. But gladly we figured something out and managed to use a different tires and same specs. Hani kept me updated during the service while I was at home. Bought a set of tires for my daughter's Volvo. Rob the service manager was excellent: extremely honest and helpful. He gave me a good price on the tires I chose, and the service was excellent. Everything was done on time and the whole crew went out of their way to make sure everything was right. The tires are smooth and quiet, everything was done on time. This is not the first time I have had a good experience at this location, they always do a good job, but this time was the best ever. They also fixed a leak on my son's Jeep tire, and again Rob made the whole experience affordable and hassle free. Great customer service! read more

Drove over a screw. Came in on a Sunday thinking they would turn me away because they were too busy. Person behind the counter came out and looked at my tire and said, "oh yeah, we can totally fix that." Told me it be two hours or more. I had no choice but to wait. After three hours, they drove the car into the bay and looked at it and after two minutes came in and said they couldn't fix it. They didn't have a plug big enough. I would have to buy a new tire. And of course they didn't have the tire in stock. A waste of a day. Could've been immediately diagnosed if the tech had come out when I arrived. Customer service 101. read more

Called on a Sunday because I need my window repaired explained what it was doing and Rob said it probably needs a regulator and he could take a look at it but wouldn't be able to get one today. He told me to come at 2pm and he'd squeeze me in so I went at 1:30. Unpin arrival he explained that if it needs a regulator it needs to be ordered but I was leaving town the next day. He said he could pull the window up and secure it until I decide to get it fix and they did . It stayed secured until I was able to repair it. Awesome customer service . read more

The wait times are even shorter than I've experienced at other places, and they were able to take me in on very short notice with a tire issue. They were able to explain things in plain language and didn't try to upcharge or do unnecessary changes to my car. I enjoyed their service and their friendly attitude! read more

I have been having my car serviced at this location since I purchased it last year and I always get overcharged. This last visit was my last straw and confirmed that this Goodyear rips people off. I went in for an oil change which came to $45. I was told my headlight was out and that it would cost $54 to fix it. I was astonished by this price and told them not to fix it. When I left my head light was working fine! The break light on my trunk was out, which is NOT the same as my headlight, even my paper work says "head light needs replacing". I will be complaining to corporate and will not be returning to Goodyear in the future. read more

Today I took my car there for an oil changes, after waiting 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter to wait on me, I decided to walk towards the back where the service managers desk is, asked if anyone was handling the front desk so I could leave my car there and got a smart remark from I guess who is the tire guy. This was after I called and told them I would be in. When I told him I was leaving, he said go ahead...see ya. So much for customer service!! Will NEVER go back there again!! read more

(Note: I would give this service center 0 stars if I could) I took my car to Goodyear for an oil change / PA state inspection on Friday, July 3rd. Upon driving away from the shop, I felt a very strong vibration and heard a loud noise. I quickly pulled over, turned off my car to let it sit for a minute. Upon restarting it, the vibration and noise reappeared. I drove my car straight back to Goodyear where the serviceman popped the hood and drove it back into the shop without saying one word. 15-30 minutes later a separate technician comes back into the waiting room, laughing, and tells me that somehow a piece is missing/broken off of the engine cooling fan. Completely baffled, I inform him that I am indeed not paying for this as they clearly broke the part. He proceeds to tell me that he cannot guarantee anything until a manager takes a look at the car. Mind you, this is 4:00pm on the Friday before Independence Day. They could not get my part until Monday morning! Not one person said they were sorry for the inconvenience. They told me to BRING THE CAR BACK on Monday! Furious, I immediately call my local Volkswagen dealer and they warned me to NOT drive the car under any circumstance as it could jeopardize the engine. I had to have my car towed to VW (thank goodness it was covered under warranty). Then I had to pay (OUT OF POCKET) for a rental car, beings that I commute to DE every day for work. Goodyear informed me that I would have to pay for the Goodyear service, the VW service, and the rental car out of pocket before they could reimburse me. Not only did this waste SO MUCH of my time, but I am also out about $1,000 (which I do not have). Upon speaking with the manager, Bob, today he was very nice and helpful. He did in fact apologize over and over for the disservice that was done. He agreed to fully reimburse my rental car fees as well as the VW services. Bob was very understanding and apologetic and I feel a bit better about the situation now. However, I am still appalled by the way I was treated when the manager was not involved. The servicemen made the situation laughable and acted like it was no big deal. They could have severely damaged my car and potentially risked my life. Obviously, they did not care about either of the two scenarios. Needless to say, I am NEVER returning to Goodyear. (I have yet to find out if the engine is in good shape after the issue, as it is still being serviced at VW) read more

Started with my wife's car. She was having brake issues. So I took it in to have it looked at and to have the oil changed. Turns out her front brakes were shot so they replaced the pads and rotors. Then next day she is hearing a high pitch noise and smelling burning brakes. We take it back. They find a kinked brake hose that happened during the repair. They fixed it. Day later, same thing. Long story short, they ended up replacing the front rotors 3 time along with new pads and bleeding the entire system 3 times. NEVER CHARGED ME FOR A THING! Bob the store manager wanted to make sure my wife was driving a safe car and wanted to do right by us. They took responsibility and made it right! Customer service doesn't get any better than this. I just returned this morning with my car after having it in for PA state inspection. Didn't pass the emissions test. Bob explained what was going on with the "check engine" light and how that related to the failed emissions test. Bottom line, it cost me some money (what car doesn't) but I think we are on the right track to solving the problem. Bob and Wilson, who works the front desk "rock"! Great service, very friendly and explain everything. We will be going back time and time again. read more

The manager at this store, Bob, is the rudest person!!! He thinks customers are stupid. My vehicle was due for service under the Donlen program. It should be simple. He made it very difficult and refused to give me an early appointment. His reason was that Donlen doesn't open till 11:00 am on a Saturday. I called Donlen and they are open 24/7, which Bob knew. I guess he thought I was stupid. He ended up hanging up on me, but before doing so told me to take my 2017 Toyota somewhere else. Poor customer service skills, Bob and Goodyear!!! I was in the goodyear shop for front brake pads, 4 tires, and an oil change. When I arrived there wasn't any other customer. All by myself. The car was put on a lift. A bit later a lady came in for an inspection. The guys were partying and raising hell in the service area. No was working on the cars. The other lady flipped. The front desk guy told her there's a rule, (your car has to be here at least 1 1/2 hours for inspections). Haha. 15 min later they brought out her car. I was there for 3 hours. I got home (1 mile ) from the shop. My car smelled like the brakes were burning up. I drove it a few blocks to the ford dealer, they confirmed my brakes were hung up. Took it back to goodyear. They had my car another 4 hours. The brakes are burning up again. My vehicle is a 2013 town and country with only 32,000 miles. My brakes weren't bad, just low....original equipment. The van is adapted for my daughter's wheelchair. Also, there was black grease all over the new front mats on my seat and doors even in the outside of the driver door. There was also an wet spot behind the the passages seat. It was very wet and the size of a man's fist. I had a Georgia road tripped planned in a week. That's on hold until the damage to my car is fixed. I wished I'd read reviews before risking my daughters safety and avoided damage to my expensive vehicle. read more
