I noticed one of my tires was losing pressure, so I scheduled an online appointment for 9 a.m. the next morning after the shop had already closed. Around 8 a.m., I received an email from the manager, Fermin, letting me know I could either drop my car off and pick it up later that day or reschedule--great communication that I really appreciated. When I arrived, CJ checked me in. She was very kind and informative, providing an estimate for the repair and explaining that she'd contact me if the tire couldn't be fixed. About two hours later, CJ called to let me know there was a screw lodged in the tire and it wasn't repairable. She gave me a very reasonable quote for a replacement, and by around 3 p.m., my car was ready for pickup. Fermin helped me check out quickly and efficiently. Both Fermin and CJ were empathetic, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. The service was done in a timely manner, and their communication throughout the process was excellent. The waiting area seemed also clean and comfortable. Highly recommend! read more

We just stopped in and were treated like absolute ROYALTY by the kindest woman named CJ, who opened the garage and summoned us in with a smile. We had a tire that was low on air, and she brought us in and filled/inspected ALL FOUR tires. Who does that?! Thank you for your selfless display of kindness, CJ. I have missed feelings about this place, and with good reason. I got a quote for new tires, wiper blades and oil replacement. After I got the quote, I was like cool, let's do this. So, I asked to schedule an appointment. I picked from one of the dates that they had available, which was about a week out. All was good. The day before my appointment, I wanted to get my vehicle to them so they would have it first thing in the morning and get done what I needed. They were very nice about letting me drop the vehicle off the day before my appointment (right before they closed). The day of my appointment, around noon, I called them to inquire about my car and they told me that my vehicle would not be ready until about 4 or 5 PM. I was shocked that what I had to do would take all day, but oh well. I get to the shop around 3PM and I was told that they did not have the tires and they were waiting on them to be brought in. So, I decided to wait. They have a small waiting area, with water and coffee and cable TV. There is also bar seating overlooking Delaware Street, that has power outlets available to wait as well. I did not get my car until 5:30 and was glad that they were able to service my vehicle but, my issues are preparation and communication. I think that the all the parts needed to service my vehicle should have been ready for my scheduled appointment. I get it, things happen, and if the tires or whatever else was not there, then that should have been communicated to me early and allow me to make alternate plans. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Outside of the aforementioned issues, which are big, they were awesome. The guy working at the front counter was very apologetic about the situation and was instrumental in getting the tires to the shop. I was teetering between a 3 and 4 star rating, but feel my experience as a whole was closer to a 3. This is a good shop and very convenient for those that work or live downtown. This place could easily be a 5 star shop. read more

Early service check-in prior to service hours was above and beyond the morning I brought my car. Communication of my request and additional services needed were communicated quickly within the morning of the drop off of my vehicle. Services were completed within 8 hours of drop. Sometimes the best things in Indy are free! Tires cost $1-300/each, oil changes $40-70... Flat fixes at Goodyear... priceless! I got a flat this morning on the way to work, was able to limp my car to Goodyear... Avery was very welcoming at the counter and told me he'd get it knocked out in a few hours. After lunch I popped back over and when I went to sign for my car, the total came to a grand total of Zero dollars and Zero cents! They upsell you and lie to you about what you've booked. I booked a sit and wait while a free check along with a free consultation was completed on my vehicle. The individual at the desk then told me I had to pay a minimum of $25. I told him I was not paying and I just wanted the free consultation. He told me that there was no consultation, repeatedly telling me there was no consultation. Flustered, I then showed him the email stating what I had signed up for and he said "okay, there is a consultation, but it's the discussion you and I are having right now." I asked him why after the person would be looking at my vehicle they would not have a consultation/discussion with me about what they saw, and he said that's diagnostics and I'd have to pay more. I just wanted to get a check-up to make sure my vehicle was okay. I told him my tire makes a noise, but not only did I think it'd be noted during the alignment check, I just wanted my car looked at. I'm from a state that requires biyearly inspections so I'm used to having an idea of when my tires need rotated or brakes replaced, etc. Because my car is a hybrid, I haven't had to replace my brakes since I bought it, which is very common for this vehicle. He then suggested to me to cancel the appointment. I said no, as long as it's the free check, I'm already here and took the time off work. He then said okay to keeping the appointment, but I would need to come back in a few hours to pick up my car; fun fact, my appointment I booked online specifically said I would wait. He said I couldn't and that it'd take a while. NEVER will I go here for anything. Disrespectful scam artists read more

Wow, impressive experience here! Went in this morning for a screw in my tire, first time ever visiting Goodyear. I had to wait at the location because I didn't have additional transportation, and I was originally quoted a 3hr wait time, but they ended up having me out the door in less than 90min AND they did the patch for FREE! Not only that, but they also evened out the tire pressure among all of my tires, which is something I hadn't been able to get to yet since to colder weather. Overall incredibly kind staff with warm waiting area that provides USB chargers & other amenities. This Goodyear is absolutely the place to go if you need your tires repaired! read more

This place is a joke. TWICE i brought my car in for an appointment and they weren't able to finish my car that day. The service was only a tire are leak, rotation or balance. After going through so many car shops reviews looking for a new place I can call a home. It's safe to say that some of these places around town are literally known for being absolutely heartless and despicable. Most even lack passionate and competent mechanics, but that's not the case with this Goodyear downtown. Had the the pleasure of setting my appointment to get new headlights installed with the manager and he assured me they would be able to take care of the job and any of the issues in the future and they didn't disappoint. I rarely leave bad reviews bc people and companies have bad days and I get that. But I called about the very basic service I needed. Was told to go in anytime. I went in the next day, sat across from a young guy who pretended to know what his job is. I was told they needed to order the part we'd discussed on the phone (a headlight for a common SUV model, nothing crazy). They said they ordered it. I made an appointment to have it done. They had not actually ordered the part and were confused that I came in bc they had also not made the appointment after all. Liz did a lot of nail clicking without actually doing anything. I said let's make this work (I.e. let's ACTUALLY order the part and make the appointment this time). Blank stare. They had zero interest in doing any of this. I guess it's not a high enough ticket item for them to care. Huge waste of time for me on a weekend when I particularly don't have time to waste. Cars are....the worst. I wish they would just work and not have to have so much maintenance, but that's far from the case and something I have to get used to. There's nothing worse than when something goes wrong or a light comes on in your car. Luckily, this Goodyear is somewhere that my lack of car knowledge self has come to trust and rely on. I do live and work downtown, so I come here mostly out of convenience, but I come here because it's much more affordable than nearby auto shops, they don't try to oversell you silly things that you don't need and try to take advantage of your lack of auto knowledge, and they're fairly quick about everything. Being able to trust your mechanic is always a necessity, and I'm glad that a place like this is relatively affordable, conveniently located, and relatively quick. read more

Bought my vehicle at the end of 2022, It has given me nothing but problems since, had iit in Byriders shop 2 times for transmission issues, which each time they said it was fixed and wasn't, and IF YOU MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS ON TIME LIKE LIKE I did they do not report to the credit bureau, I will never send anyone there ever again, they breached their own contract smh read more

Goodyear in DT Indy is dishonest, shameless and sleazy. The cliche sleazy mechanic. I had a flat tire and decided to go to Goodyear after finding out they do "free" flat tire repairs.. I learned however that this is just the way they lure unsuspecting customers in before dropping the hammer of unnecessary repairs - conning people out of hundreds of dollars. I swapped the wheel for my spare and handed the flat to them, noting that there was a large screw embedded in the treads, directly in the center of the tire (an easy fix).They said it would likely be done same day and would call me. I didn't receive the call until right before they closed and they said it would be done by 10am the next day. I went in around noon the next day and the guy at the desk said it'll be $356.30 (with a lot of attitude I might add). He said my rim is bent "badly" and needs straightened. I also need a new tire - all together $358.36. Pic of the estimate is attached. I asked to see the damage. It was totally obvious they were lying. The "bend" in the rim was barely noticeable, you could tell from the residue on the rim that the seal hadn't broken. The "chip" in the tire was negligible at best. They didn't even mention the screw that I could clearly see was protruding out the inside of the tire. So I asked the guy and he said "well thats another problem". No guy, that is THE problem. I told them I wanted a second opinion, took the estimate and left, narrowly escaping the sleazy grasp of Goodyear Indy's scammy hands. I took the rim and tire (they didn't even put it back together) to another place nearby and explained the whole situation. The mechanic examined the rim and tire and said I was right, the bend doesn't appear to be a problem and the tire was repairable. He said he could patch it for $20, LIKE I ORIGINALLY ASKED GOODYEAR TO DO. He patched the tire, mounted it to the wheel and it sealed just fine. $20 and 15 minutes later I left the second shop a happy customer. TLDR: Goodyear Auto Service Center at 627 N Delaware St in Downtown Indy will stop at nothing to try and scam you out of money for unnecessary repairs. They quoted me $358.36 for a flat tire. I refused and took it to a place nearby that fixed the problem for $20. Goodyear DT Indy is a cliche. read more

I blew my tire out on my way home from work on a Friday evening. We were leaving for vacation that night. I stopped in here with a shaking voice and tears in my eyes. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice. He found one of his people that didn't mind working late and they replaced my tire so I was able to go on vacation. Excellent service. I was on vacation for 2 weeks, leaving my car parked in my apartment parking garage. When I returned my front driver side tyre was almost completely out of air. I called Goodyear and spoke to Dustin who was extremely helpful and said they could have it repaired for me by the end of the day. I dropped it off, and then 30 minutes later receive a phone call that it is ready to collect. The valve in my tyre was leaking, they fixed it for free. I couldn't recommend this company enough if you're downtown! read more

I equate a positive experience with Goodyear since my father has been a customer for many years and speaks their praises. So when I found myself stuck in Indianapolis with a dead car battery and a three hour drive ahead of me, I trusted my instincts and called Goodyear. Not only did they have the car battery in stock, but they could install it as well. (I called an automotive shop and they would not install the battery which would have required an additional trip to the dealership). True to form, Avery, Daniel and Dustin were helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond. Avery was the first person I spoke to over the phone and he was patient and kind. He told me what I should expect, the approximate cost of repair, and let me know I was in good hands. Daniel gave me a ride to the 400 block of Mass Avenue and picked me up when the car was ready. Communication was steady, with frequent calls to let me know what was being done and how long it would take approximately. Despite the cost of the battery being higher than he originally quoted me, he stayed true to his word, and didn't make an adjustment in price. Dustin handled the final transaction promptly and with a smile. The team at Goodyear helped turn a potentially negative situation into one that was as pleasant as possible. I usually don't do this to companies because it makes me feel bad. But I'm in the time of my life where my time isn't to be wasted what so ever. They first told us at 7 am and I was like no you guys aren't open and they said that they are fine. I go not open till 7:30. Fine whatever I get it. They were nice but the rude. Fine whatever everyone has there day. I sit and wait for 4 hours for an alignment. That's long but okay, now what got me was when they can't do anything. Due to other issues okay and said that this appointment was an estimate WHAT!!!! Lost my mind no way that should have been 3 hours and I was the first one there. Service bad just because I'm 18 DOESN'T MEAN TREAT ME HAS I DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ. Also I'm a women of color so English isn't my first language I have an accent but I speak I speak it fluently. I don't have to prove that to you but guess what I will top of my class I'm not stupid. Went there lost time, gas which is money in my mind, for what nothing. They did nothing to my car waste of my whole morning. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS RIGHT NOT STUPID. I don't ever recommend they just told me to give them 2k and it will get fix. Really upset right now. I was told my oil change and tire rotation would be done while I wait. I even had an appointment. I was told they'd call or text me when the job was done. I waited next door at a local member's club. I headed back over to Goodyear when I realized it was after close and never heard from anyone. My car was locked in their garage and no one was in sight. Now I don't have my car. I don't have my house keys. I don't have my garage door opener. I have no means of transportation or means to enter my home because Goodyear has it all. I'm a teacher. Now I have to pay for an Uber to a friend's house to crash for the night, an uber back to Goodyear and I can't teach my first two classes tomorrow because I'll be trying to get my car back, get back home, shower and change for work. Seriously, why no call or text? Job not done? Let me pick up my car and bring it back another day. I'm furious. Update: Went in this morning to get my car. Talked to the manager as politely as I could muster. Mid story he asked if I was the name on record. I said yes. He said the owner saw my reviews and was aware of the situation before I got there. He asked if the number on file was mine. It was not. I don't know how it got input completely wrong when he typed it in as I said it. He informed me the job was comped. I said there's no point in me chewing him out when they'd done all they could to rectify the situation, took my keys and left. While the service was unsatisfactory, they did do something to rectify the situation, so I bumped them up a star. read more

We really love this Goodyear location! We have gone to this location since we have been married for 5 years! We love the staff and the quick service! I called a Midas to get an oil change (because it was close to my job) and they were full from 1:30pm (when I called) until close at 6pm. I called my normal Goodyear guys and low and behold, they had me in and out in 2 hours! The prices are not too bad: $30 for an oil change and whenever we have tire issues, we get the insurance and they replace the tires no questions asked!!! I would absolutely recommend this Goodyear to every friend I have! read more

Took my car in with a flat.. Took the same car in with a flat a few months ago. Got he call that the nail was in the "side" of the tire..thats what they told me last time also. Tire was $160, they had me by the short hairs. Dude showed me where the side of the tire is and he brings out a picture that they use. The nail was onto bottom of the tire not the side. Basically I was taken to the cleaners for the second time. How sad that in these tough times GOODYEAR would take advantage of their customers. Goodyear made my day again! They were slammed today when I went in for my appointment, almost no parking spots (but that's because people keep coming back). I went in thinking I'd need a new tire and was prepared to spend money. After a couple of hours I was told they found a nail, they plugged it and it's all fixed. Total surprise to me when I got to the center and they said no charge and here is what the technician found with your other tires. Excellent place to get your car worked on. I trust these guys with everything. If you are looking for a quick in and out service station this isn't the place however. They don't advertise it being quick neither. Most bad reviews I see about this place are speed issues and lack of knowledge. These guys perform by the book, and make sure you leave the safest way they can. Scheduled appointment are a key at this place. The only issue I have seen/was told about with schedules here though is that the online doesn't mesh great with speaking to them direct. This how ever isn't any issue to deal with these guys its just a simple program error. I would just suggest to call ahead and make your appointment that way so you won't be dissatisfied. These guys are always giving discounts. Knocking off $10.00 on alignments, free tire installs from time to time, and a lot of promos and coupons. The service done here is excellent. Mistakes are made from time to time, but every customer "I" have seen has been take care of if an issue does occur. If you don't make a schedule, I can see how coming here can be frustrating. If you are patient though these guys will make sure everything is done right and safe. read more

Dustin in the front was super helpful. I dropped my car off for a tire replacement. What was supposed to be a 3 day turn around turned into 7 full days. Each time I called to check up on my car (because they didn't proactively call me AT ALL) my phone call was directed to "someone in the back" (I'm guessing a mechanic?) . It was the same person each time I called, and the customer service was HORRIBLE. 3 full days went by with no call, or update, and when I did try and call the person in the back simply said "I don't know where your tire is, I'm not a shipper" and hung up. One of the times he even told me that my car was ready, so I found a ride to the shop only to find out that nope, not even close to ready. I understand that it was a special tire and had to be ordered, I even understand that somehow it got lost in transit, but the very rude customer service did not make it ok. read more

My favorite auto shop! I've been here twice and Dustin and all the guys are so attentive and friendly. I have had squeaky breaks for years and every place has replaced and pads and rotors and has told me they just don't know what it is. Goodyear replaced the hardware free of charge and goodbye squeaky breaks! I also took my car here for a tire that kept going flat. They found it was the valve itself that was loose after I had paid to have it sealed elsewhere and it was still going flat. I will come here for all my needs in the future. read more

I have been using this location for years as I live downtown and its conveniently close to home but after today I may be taking my business elsewhere. Had an 11am appointment for an oil change, dropped it off and walked to work only to find that it's not ready at 3pm when I arrive; I was told it would only be an hour or two tops. Please don't tell customers one things and when they show up for their vehicle it not be ready as told. read more

I dropped my car off to have some work done, they did an inspection as well. They told me the inspection said I needed some extra work done on the CV joints oh, since the inspection was free I paid for the extra work to be done. But the master cylinder had a factory warranty on the part that they did not refund me or credit me for, also whoever worked on my car went through my bags and took my change. read more

I always have good service at this location! I've only ever had oil changes done here, but they always do a great job. Staff was very nice to speed up my service in order to get me out on time. I was in and out in an hour for a standard oil change. Pricing is fair and definitely more affordable than the dealership. Will be back. read more

This place leaves me in a conundrum: It's quite close to my residence, doesn't break the bank, but they are incredibly, almost astoundingly slow with their service. As you may read in others' reviews, this is not a "one-off" criticism. For a simple oil change, with no one being serviced before my vehicle, it took over and hour to accomplish the simple things included in the price I paid. The proximity and value for cost are appealing, but just be sure that you have an entire morning to spare when you take your car here for care. I went in for an oil change and they told me that both rear break pads were down to the last bit of life and needed to be changed with the rotors ASAP with a $500 total cost. Luckily my dad can change break pads so we went and bought some at the auto shop and he was going to change them for me. After taking the tire off, he called and said the break pads were perfect and didn't need to be changed at all. He checked the front just in case it was a mistake in writing and he said those still had 60% of their life. Auto shops are a continuous disappointment and it is unfortunate that I have found yet another place that I can't trust. I will not be returning to a place that scams people like this. read more

Had a nail in my tire while in Indy for work. Stopped at 2 other tire shops who told me they could look at it in 3 days! I had even explained I was on the road and nobody would help.
