After calling around to several auto service establishments searching for the best price on an oil change for my Ram 1500 ecodiesel, I booked an appointment online and gave them accurate year, make and model of my vehicle. I was quoted at 80.23 as the price for the change. After 30 minutes of waiting, they informed me that the person I chatted with online had booked in the wrong type of engine even though I had informed them that it was an ecodiesel and that the change was going to cost 148.23. Unfortunately, it was too late in the day to book another oil change and I was traveling the following day. They did give me a $10 discount which took my bill to 138 (thus the 2 stars instead of 1) but they did not give me the quoted price. Friendly people - but I feel taken advantage of. read more

Great service, great price! Went there because I had a flat tire with a nail that hopefully could be repaired. Service attendants were friendly, and let us know right away how long the tire repair was going to take. We've recently moved to downtown Indianapolis and a few weeks ago went to another car service center a few blocks down the street and were totally underwhelmed with that locations service. While on a recent Buisness Trip to Indy I punctured a tire down town. I was able to make it Gingerly to Firestone without damaging My Rim. They in turn told me they could not help me because they were too busy even if I was willing to wait all day because I had no other options and sent me away. I was astonished that they would do that to a traveler. But she did tell me there was a Goodyear farther up the road. I made it there and they were also busy but Dustin at the Desk assured me they would get me taken care of and not left stranded. He told me it may well be a few hr wait because they have commitments which was understandable. After a couple hrs and a few very pleasant conversations with Dustin I was told they Have my Car in were Putting on the New Tire. Devin and the whole crew at this Facility were Class Acts ! I cannot Thank them enough. I think their competitor down the Road should spend some time in Goodyear's lobby and learn how to treat customers because I seen nothing but happy customers coming and going from there Yesterday. I can't believe how slow this place is. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and they also replaced two brake lights. Pretty standard stuff. I waited for almost an hour and finally asked when they would be done. He said he hoped that they would be done in the next 15 minutes, meaning over an hour for an oil change! He told me "were not built for speed" and said that they didn't have the staff needed to be quick, like I had been ridiculous for wanting a quick service. Cant yet comment on quality of work, but i can probably get a much quicker change elsewhere. Will not be back. read more

I called and they had an appointment that day. When I went in, they were kind and courteous, and fixed my tire in less than an hour. I was hesitant about coming here after reading the reviews but when my dad who has been coming here for 15+ years offered to foot the bill I couldn't say no. The service was very friendly and not knowing much about cars the lights on the dash were off so I was happy. However when I left the lot I noticed a hard pull to the left. Took the car back and while waiting in the sitting area someone else came in to complain that their oil number/light hadn't been changed after service. Almost an hour later and still in the waiting room we were told they never aligned the front wheels just the back. After getting the car back I'm still noticing a pull to the left. Looks like after having my car there for 8 hours today I'll be back tomorrow. read more

To be fair, I love the guys at this particular location. They are always so polite, usually hysterical, and sincerely care about seeing to my needs with my vehicle. I must also mention that the price of an oil change here is one of the best I have found in the city and I have never had issues with my vehicle after their work is done (you would be surprised how often this has happened at other places!!) However, Yelpers I must be honest and say that time is a valuable thing in our fast moving society. As cheerful and helpful as these fine gentlemen are, you do have to set aside quite a bit of time for them to get to you. I usually stop in about 3pm on a workday, a time I would normally consider to be a slower time for them, and I have never been out in less than an hour and a half. Now this happens to work out well for me, as I often take a book with me wherever I go, but it has put me in a time crunch from time to time. I would love to give these gentlemen a higher review if the wait wasn't so bad. I would still urge Yelpers to visit this location if you do find yourself having the time. They truly are quite helpful and make it a point to carefully look at your car and mention any potential threats as they work. read more

This is my second trip to this location. I have been treated with respect and their service has been excellent. I have had my oil changed twice and some maintenance work done. It is convenient to my office and I can drop my car off and get a ride to my office. I pick it up after work. Makes life easy for me. read more

Complimentary tire repair and condescending lecture thrown in for free! Incredibly dismissive, possibly sexist. Brought in a tire less than a month old with a nail in tread. After waiting for over 45 minutes (indicated it would just take "a minute"), I was informed it was not reparable. I asked to be shown, as the only damage I could find was in the repairable area. Sure enough, it was the same spot. They informed me that I'd need a new tire. When I questioned their evaluation, I received an unsolicited lecture that lacked only the classic "Young lady, I've been doing this longer than you've been alive." When he finally wrapped up, I merely said "alright, sounds like you can't repair it." To which he replied "so we'll go ahead and put a new tire on it and get it out to you." Apparently laughter was not the response he was anticipating. Took the tire to another shop, they repaired it for $8 and in and out in 20 min. DO not use. read more

Been going there for years, and it was mostly ok, convenient location to my office, etc. Went in today and asked to order new snow tires to replace my old ones. I have an extra set of rims that I have snow tires on for winter - a common practice. Manager tried talking me into all season (which I already have on my other rims). I tried explaining and he said they don't usually do snow tires. A surreal experience - a Tire shop that won't sell snow tires. I walked out. Sadly this may have ended my 12 year relationship with the shop. read more

A few weeks ago, I stopped by this location to have them check out a slow leak on a tire. I explained that I was going to wait. The staff ignored me for 2 and a half hours so when I finally asked about the work, I was told they had called my home number 2 hours ago asking me if I wanted to replace the tire. No one apologized or acted like I should be unhappy. I won't be going back. read more

Total waste of time. I made an appointment at 8:30 AM for a basic and simple tire plug. When I showed up for my appointment they said it would be at least two hours before they can even look at it, I laughed in their faces and left. What a joke! read more

First I scheduled an appointment and stated that I would be waiting for my car. When I got there, they assumed I was just leaving it; therefore, they were not prepared to complete my service immediately. Next, I needed my license plate taken off in addition to a simply oil change. When taking off my plate, they broke the screw, then informed me that it would be x amount of dollars to take it off now. Being a young female, I called me dad to get further advice, and after they saw I spoke with him, they decided not to charge me as much for taking my plate off. Already feeling taken advantage of, I was not willing to get a new tire that they suggested that I needed. Thank goodness I didn't because I took my car to the Mazda dealership the next day, and they told me that I didn't need a new tire. There was nothing wrong with my tire, and this location was attempting to take advantage of a young girl who does not have knowledge on cars. read more

Goodyear service center in Castleton was the only place that I found that had the size of tires that I needed. Went there to buy my tires and get an oil change. They were incredibly slow and I started smelling burnt oil soon after I left the service center. My engine was relatively new and this was my first oil change. I was thinking that this was pretty inconvenient but mistakes happen. My oil filter was double gasketed and they did not offer me anything for my trouble. They don't seem to have customer appreciation and the service is kind of poor. read more

This place is horribly slow! I went in for a standard oil change at 10am Saturday morning and was told my car would not be ready until 1:30 pm. Fair enough, since it is downtown, I was able to run some errands. When I came back to get my car, they had accidentally locked my keys inside the car. They provided a ride back to my apartment to get a spare set, but the whole thing was really awkward and frustrating. I did give them two stars because they offered a free oil change for next time, but I had to specifically ask for the voucher when I returned with my spare set of keys instead of them giving it to me. read more

I was recently traveling in Indy from out of town and had to visit a shop because my transmission was on the fritz. Not knowing where to go, this shop was one of the earliest to open. I pulled in first thing in the morning. The attendant was very helpful and kind and got me back on the road before noon. They fixed the shift linkage and replaced the left axle (both had been hit by a truck's overtread on I-65) for less than $300, which was an good value. read more

They could care less if they have my business or not. I needed 4 new tires and they didn't want to even want to tell me what kind of tire they wanted to put on my vehicle. They just wanted me to approve the price. The guy was a real jerk. I live downtown and am by this place a few times a day but will drive out of my way to take my business elsewhere. read more

This Goodyear store gave me a quote of $1,800 to fix my air conditioner. I took it to get a second opinion at auto tire on the southside. They fixed the issue for less than $200!!!!! I'll never return here, they rape their customers! read more
