Started using the Levittown Goodyear a couple of years back because I was tired of the constant hounding of the service advisors at Levittown Ford. Always looking to bang you for services you don't need. Found the service at Goodyear to be excellent, friendly and quality work. Dave is great along with Walt and Dennis. I've had bigger jobs done there besides general service. They work with CarShield and that is a bonus compared to a dealership. While in the waiting area, I always observe customers coming in to check out various issues from putting air in a tire to removing a registration sticker because they didn't have a scraper. They were always obliging, stopped what they were doing and helped out as a courtesy. Richie did a great job on replacing my A/C condenser and I appreciated Eric for the ride home and back. I had been looking for a place to bring my cars for regular maintenance as my dealer is clueless. Came in for an oil change which I assume was done. Wheels came off so I assume were rotated. Got home and found the tire pressures were not checked and adjusted, and the fluids weren't topped off. I called and nicely told them my issue with the tires and fluids...I got no response. No well bring it on back, we'll take care of it sorry for the inconvenience, no I'll have a manager contact you, nothing. They obviously don't care. my review is a 2, simply because they changed my tires - otherwise, it was a 1. I wanted to get 4 new tires, they checked out my tire size and gave me my options, told me how much it would be per tire and how much tire alignment would be. clearly busy on a Saturday, they said they would let me know when it was ready. 3 hours later, no call. I took it upon myself to come back and see that my car was ready. never got a call. then, when it's time to check out i have additional fees of up to $175 that was never mentioned before I left my car with them. very disappointed that the estimate was not given to me so I'm getting surprise fees and i never received a call that my car was ready read more

Went on Sunday for oil change and tire rotation and for which I was charged a very good price for synthetic oil change. I was greeted by Junito the sales advisor who was very efficient making my experience very quick and easy. Def will be coming back again. read more

They were billing me $4200 on a 2017 Audi A4. Dave ( service manager) told me I had a water pump leak along with an engine leak. He was charging me $2k for spark plugs. I just got the vehicle from Audi 3 weeks prior. Brought it back to Audi which they inspected. No water pump leak, no oil leaks. I was a loyal customer for 15 years. Since they have no customers they charge customers for problems that are not there. They are misleading and lying to their customers. They were probably doing this to me for years. Do not got to this place, HORRIBLE customer service. Dave you lied one to many times. Channel 7 needs to investigate this place. They are Crooks!!! read more

Very very expensive, $347. For an oil change wheel alignment and changed a $4.00 brake light bulb. Requested the best synthetic oil change because it included a tire rotation ( stated on the website ) but I was told that would be extra, they said it wasn't included anymore. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

This place is a joke. I told the kid at the counter I was going to drop my car off for an inspection and I would come to pick it up when it was ready. He practically told me it made no sense to leave and I should just stay and wait because it will only be 20 minutes. An hour and a half later, I have to actually go back there and find out whats happening myself to finally get my car back. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location. People in the back take their sweet time as well. Never returning. read more

I get so nervous with trusting mechanic shops but I was desperate for a tire patch. A friend of mine recommended me this place so I gave them a shot. The minute I walked inside the guys were so friendly and they kept it real. I'm like "hole in tire" they're like "ok!" I didn't wait too long, and that was it. None of the "also you need this... we found that" crap, they kept it real, and my car is fine! Prices not obnoxious at all they were within normal prices. Thankfully they were able to salvage my tire and plug it, they walked me through exactly what happened with my tire. I think I'm going to see this place more often for my car needs. This is the 2nd time with an appointment I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. I asked how long it would be to patch a tire and was told 45min - they took the car in 45 min later. If you come to this location plan on being here for 2-3 hrs even with an appointment. There is a gentleman who was here before me and is still waiting. I was kind of hesitant on bringing my car here after seeing some of the reviews. But I live really close to here so I decided to finally go a few months ago. My car needed brakes and rotors. They did it in an afternoon. All was good, until I was driving to work one morning and when I got to my job and my car would barely drive. Took it to goodyear in Mineola by my job and they informed me that the previous place who did my brakes and rotors (Levittown Goodyear) that they didnt put the bolt back on the caliper. The caliper came off the rotor and was wrapped around it. Its good thing I wasnt going 75 mph on the highway when this happened. I paid $781 for a brake and rotor job and someone couldnt double check their work. Okay...I get it. Mistakes happen, but.... Im kind of scared to bring my car back here after that. read more

They are horrible. You want to like them because they're local to me in Levittown, but they are a terrible operation. 3 times in the past year brought my car there, and all 3 times there was an issue. The 1st time, I left my car in the morning for a simple repair, go to pick it up after work and they never looked at it. Fell through the cracks. 2nd time, dropped it off for 4 new tires and alignment. Get a call my car is done. So, I Uber it down to find out the car was not done. Still needed the alignment. 2 other cars ahead of mine. Had to wait 90 minutes there anyway. 3rd time for a tire sensor. Made the appointment on Tuesday for Saturday. Get there on Saturday, all they did was check the car and said I need a sensor. I knew that, but they told me they had to order the sensor, make an appointment for that next Saturday. I get there Saturday 7:30AM, tech says all my sensors are fine. All he had to do was reset them. Get in the car, light is out. I'm happy, possibly save about $100. Get in the car Sunday morning, light is on. Go down to Goodyear, I need to make an appointment for the next Saturday. No thank you. I'll go to one of the local independent guys who really want your work. Goodbye Goodyear. read more

i bought 4 brand new 4 good year tires with 80,000 miles warranty on june 12th which i needed right away since my local mechanic stated it was not good and change immediately. i went to walmart to get tire and install it. they did have tires, but tires could not installed since it was booked. next day, i took it to my local mechanic who is expert in tire installation. he installed all 4 tires well. i personally saw no issue with installation with right pressure and balacing. i drove about 10 to 15 miles and saw somrthing wrong with tire. drove to the safest place and towed car to mechnic. he showed me the leak from side. i took this tire to walmart. they stated that since you did not buy extended warranty, we you have to deal with good year. good year stated that we sell the good year assurant outlast tires to walmart, it is their problem. none of the two big two companies wants to take responsibility and we become sandwich. if i had bought with costco, they would take it without an issue. disappointed with managers at walmart (and good year)! do not buy tires from walmart or good year. good year tires at walmart are poor qualities (at least it seems like to me). i believe they are selling cheap quality to walmart!!!! Also, the Goodyear Mechanic who has only one interest. Just sell tires at their local station and wanted us to buy tire (giving us minimum discount) by stating that the tire was road side issue and not the tire. btw, i escalated this with dot, cosumer affair and bbb.org for both good year and walmart esp with tire (safety!!) read more

My son took his van here to be serviced because it had trouble going from park to reverse. After $1200 still not working. Brought it back and they blamed him for not describing the problem better. While waiting yesterday for someone to talk to us about it and to leave it again, we go to leave and I end up with a flat. Kid drives in on rim into bay. They patch it. This morning it went flat again. Well 9 hours later it was still not ready so we went there since they were closing. My hubs and some idiot got in huge argument. My son got screwed out of $1200. Oh and suddenly at 7:30 at night his van was throwing codes. The guy wanted a fight with my hubs. My tire ended up costing $280 and I still paid for patch yesterday. They had my son's van for three days. They lie. I could add more but instead stay away. We used them all the time. Now my hubs cut up credit card at counter. Never again. One van - $1200 not fixed. One tire patched, flat the next morning, then there from 9:00 am until 7:40 for one tire. They had to go pick it up. It will be ready at 3:00. Lie. Then called at 4:30. Not done yet. Called at 6:30. Not yet. Then we just went there. Stay away from them my one tire cost me $300! read more

So on the recommendation of my son, I came here to get an oil change with synthetic oil. I paid over $100.00 for the oil change and extras, one of which was tire rotation. The oil change I think was fine. I say I think because the tires were not rotated. How do I know? Because the front driver's side tire had a slow leak. Guess what tire had to be replaced for a slow leak? You guessed it, that front tire. Now I'm not sure what kind of oil change I got. Not happy. read more

Will never go back to this location or any Goodyear again. Went here on Saturday. Upon leaving, was cut off by one of their trucks twice who exited after me on Hempstead Tpke. The first time, he made a U Turn while I was heading east & could not wait for me to pass. The second time, he cut myself & other cars off as he proceeded to go from the right lane, 3 lanes over to the left turn lane on Jerusalem Ave. This is unacceptable. I contacted both the location & the Goodyear headquarters & neither would give me the respect of a return phone call. Mark and Fran were absolutely amazing. So kind and patient with me. I broke down and ended up getting it towed there and asked for quotes before repairing because it was so old. They were transparent about all costs and when I ultimately decided to scrap it- they even gave me an awesome suggestion. Since I didn't have a car for a few days, they were patient and kept it there for a couple nights while I was sorting everything out for getting rides to the shop and finishing the process of buying my new car. Went to this Good Year for the first time for tire repair and rotation mainly because the tires on my relatively new truck are Good Year; so I thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did. This place is awesome. Walt at the front desk is so considerate, attentive and professional. Don't see much of that at LI auto repair shops. Everything is so clean. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable with lots of outlets and USB ports. Free coffee and water too. And there was no charge on the tire repair! What?? When does that happen? Walt said they do all kinds of car repair, not just tires and wheels. Plan to use them for repairs on all my cars. Even the BMW. This outfit should be five stars across the board. Take a close look at the negative reviews. Spelling and sentence composition appear to be a serious challenge for some of these people. The ones that are readable are complaining about weird stuff like getting cut off by a Good Year truck. Too bad there are people out there like that. Five stars all the way!! read more

Another review in my anxious auto repair series. (Where I discuss my experiences as a young "clueless" woman that can be conned by greedy mechanics) I've gone here on two occasions and both times was conned into buying something extra than what I wanted/needed. January 2015, I went in for an inspection, aside from the service taking two hours, they told me I had a slow air leak in my tire that needed to be patched (a problem I did not have before dropping my car off there). I refused to give them my business for this issue and patched the tire at home. January 2016, I went in for an inspection and oil change and in order to pass inspection I needed to spend $50 on new wipers (front and back) and a missing lug nut on my tire. My old wipers worked fine. The service took two and a half hours! My total was $107 for oil change, inspection, and the other garbage I "needed" to pass inspection. I was running late for work and did not want to replace the wipers myself and then have to wait/pay for re-inspection. After the first time, I should have never returned but I now have two experiences to support my negative opinion of this Good Year. Auto mechanics THRIVE on stealing from unsuspecting drivers. I will continue to search for the perfect shop I can trust with my car. read more

I brought my car in for an inspection and was told that it won't pass because I need four new brakes, rotors and pads! When I questioned this and told the mechanic/manager that I felt nothing wrong with my brakes and it seemed quite suspicious that all four would have to be replaced, I was told that this sometimes happens! The charge was $886. After my shock wore off, I told him to put my car back together as I was taking it home. A couple of days later, I brought my car to the GMC dealer I purchased it from. Excellent quality work. Came in for my plan covered balance and rotation for tires purchased at a different Goodyear corporate shop before moving to this area. The week prior, by coincidence I got two flats two days apart from foreign matter (the technician actually found three punctures in all). They gave good, non-pressured advice as to the damage, and did an excellent rebalancing despite the two tires being filled with fix-a-flat. read more

Just wanted to share after calling four other on a Sunday (not Goodyear) tire places to have a nail removed from my tire they all said 5 hour hour wait, one said 10 cars already pending service, another said I have to leave the car there all day - now in terrible situation we are in I needed my car because I am helping my neighbors by running to the market for them so they don't need to go out risk the virus - I called good year thought I was going to be in the same situation I explained what I needed they said they would service me immediately they were able to plug my tire quickly and I was back on road read more

I wasnt expecting much when I called about a flat tire. I just kind of assumed it was going to be par for the course because I needed a quick fix last minute. Well, I've got to say, everyone in this place was an absolute gentleman, and the service was fantastic. I called at 5 pm to get an emergency fix, was in the shop by 510, and was out by 6. Price was right and everyone was pleasant. They also had refreshments and tv- a plus for me. I will definitely be back- they exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. I have gone here quite a few times. Always excellent service. Most recently I went here for an inspection. Due to some personal medical issues I couldn't spend a lot of time out. Steve, the manager was aware of this. My inspection took the 45 minutes, from entry into the store to exit, he promised. While there were a couple of issues, cabin air filter and regular air filter needing to be changed, and tires getting close to worn, I wasn't given a hard "upsell". In fact I knew about the tires and the air filters are a 10 minute DIY job tops. I have gone here for flat fixes. At Mavis they always sell you a new tire pressure sensor. When I went to Goodyear for a flat fix, and asked why I wasn't charged for a sensor, the manager said that changing a performing sensor was a waste of money and time. Know your car, know what needs to be done, and you will be fine. read more
